NAVIGON 7

hi i have navigaon 7 on my diamond , anyone knowhow to make it work with internal gps????

Simply let it scan for your GPS settings, picked up mine at COM4 (just like the Windows Settings state).

but it says no gps reception, what do you choose from gps settings? where is asks if gps reciever is bluetooth bla bla bla

609MB, it includes Maps from Germany, Austria & Switzerland ...

checked and myn iz same version

doesn't work. on the gps status show -1 on the Satellites and -1.0 on HDop

Try attached files. Extract all files into NAVIGON directory (on PPC). In Navigon.mscr set corect path for MobileNavigator.exe and run Navigon.exe. It works for me.

Now the full european Try & Buy version is online on Navigons Homepage ...

Any one tried ppc.zip a few posts back ?

Change to Duttys rom it worked for me with this, but not with vic diamond or Dia Duit.
also worked with others as I change roms regularly & did not come acsoss the problem until I loaded Dia Duit, which has to be the most convenient one of them all.

I installed HallengreeN rom last night & Navigon finds GPS immediatly you will find it here

Hello this works for me. How could i make that navigon starts in landscape mode using your script?
Reality view works (only in LScape mode)

paste ppc folder files onto navigon folder, (just copy the files not the whole folde!) and of course edit navigon.mscr in order to have internal storage in the route, where it is (almacenamiento interno) (Spanish)
it turns to landscape and then when you exit the program it returns to vertical. The problem is that backlight remains and duration is toggled to 10s, and you have to fix it everytime after exiting navigon.
Ah something else, i have Landmark_EU_Q4_2008.nxs n landmark directory, but i think reality is not working. How can i check? Landmark_EU_Q3_2008.nfs is also there and has different extension!

i just ried to switch landscape for use with MN|7, but i cant get it to work properly. (ROM>AZTOR x2 GER, MN 7.3)
any1 knows if there is a app to assign like "press hangup long" to switch the screen to landscape?
also tried PPC.ZIP and the others, not working.
MN7LS_90.ARM.zip tried one time (with error after launching)
i'll continue on my journey finding the right tool, maybe someone can enlighten me!
and yes, would be nice to have TF3d enabled

I used a program called Glopus http://www.glopus.de/glopuscab.php
This app basically simulates a Com Port for navigon to see.
In Glopus :
1. go to Data source drop down menu and choose "COM 9 (Serilot)"
2. Tap on "Configure Serilot" button underneath
3. You will have two more drop down Menues: In the upper one choose "Com 9" in the lower choose "Com 4)
4. click ok
In Navigon:
1. Go to GPS status
2. Tap on settings
3. Choose manual config
4. Select plain GPS device
5. In Ports choose "COM 9"
6. In Baud rate choose 9600
Done.

HI i need help...i followed the right tuto and everything worked fine, But i had to hard reset my phone and i made a mistake in globus and as this software is in german how can I reset all GPS setting?

has anyone got a cab for the new google maps? (with google latitude)
tried downloading from google.com/latitude , but the download ends with an error...

Do we need to uninstall the previous Maps version first? Has anyone tried to see if the panel connects you to the new version (if its downloaded)?

You don't need to uninstall, it will be done automatically. And yes, it works from the Google panel.
Tried it yesterday (latitude I mean) and it works real nice. I was inside a building so I could not get GPS fix (only GSM) so I can't tell about refresh rate or so, but it simply works.

You get an error because you're using Opera Mobile, the useragent on Opera Mobile will lead to you getting the java version. Use PIE to get the cab version.

Hi , can I just ask please why the cab, why not just download straight off the google internet site, is htere something more in the prepared cab file please?

google latitude slow updating
Hi,
I have problem with google latitude slow rate of updating. Yesterday, I (xperia x1) tested with friend ( some android phone ) latitude in Google maps.
When I was walking he should see my icon as moving in app . But no reversed. I must manualy click to refresh in list of friend - it so uncomfortable.
Is any way to automatic aupdate position ?

I installed Tomtom7 yesterday, but could only install the blue version. The black version always failed to install. I have the latest 7.9 version.
I can only start TT via the file explorer the the today shortcut link does not work. It only beeps and that is.
I have also a proper TT account for safety cameras and traffic. when I connetc the PDA I can download pois, cameras etc. However I don't see them in the poi list? In TT home it shows as installed.
When I copy my old TT6 overlays into the map folder the show on the map.
The traffice update and warning work fine however..
Any ideas?

the standart WM6.1 from HTC.
I have figured out how to create a link and add stuff to the menu by now.
I have also seen a Speedcam on the map and can sync them via tomtom plus service, but still dont see them under any POI menu,...

Call support, I got the sd card and it works perfectly, version 7.910. They send me another card for my other phone FOC.

Copilot Live problem

Hi,
I have Copilot Live 8 for Android (my phone is HTC Magic TIM).
I would to load on ITALY map the new Interest Points. I have put the file ".ov2" and the file image ".bmp" in this folder /copilot/EU/Italy/save/
When launch the copilot program, the update begins and I have my Interest Points on the map but the image ".bmp" not is on the Copilot Images, why? It's impossible to add new icons/images to those already existing? Or the icons to add must have a specific format?

The right format for CoPilot POIs is .csv
Just download CoPilot Central from the ALK site and use it to manage you CoPilot device.
It works great for me.

Trying but can't seem to download NA points of interest. Can somebody download and post it here? Or upload it somewhere for me? Thanks.

In some warez versions is needed just to turn off and turn on this feature again on the program to start working..
