diamond speaker problem?

Hi all,
I have a htc diamond, and I configured almost all registry tweaks, but since the first day I switched on my phone I have this problem:
I encounter the phone speaker "disabled", usually when I have some calls that I couldn't answer. Then the phone is in "mute", no sounds can be played (it doesn't hear in speaker), and to fix it, I have to do a soft-reset. This problem occurs a lot of times in a day.
I think is a software problem, but I don't know....

my friend it also happend to me but i can make it work againg playin some music and after a couple of seconds it disconect the signal and when it come back the sound come back as well.
i also need help with this couse is really anoying

I will try what you are saying... but, for an instance, do you solve the problem playing an mp3 sound? or a tone for the phone ?

i also have some problem with speaker..
when call connected...the speaker is soundless...i have to use loud speaker..
but mp3 playback is working fine..
anyone can help ?

i have the same problems, both income call and music are soundless however the earpiece and other stuff are fine. i am running wm 6.5 do i need to install some software to fix it?

Problem with Microphone

i just got my HTC Touch diamond and i like it much ! the only thing that bothering me is that when i'm recording the Video , microphone is not getting the voice really good . it is too low !!
Any idea ???

i have the same problems. With Audiorecording i have no problems. Any Ideas?

Maybe it's because your holding the mic away from the people you film..?

hello, i have a mda2 from tmobile, same as himalaya, and i used to have sound, but now i do not, i took the device apart and everything looks good? any ideas what i could do, maybe dl a sound driver of some sort? (or maybe if its a hardware problem someone could tell me where to get a replacement speaker (its a little box with (2) metal spots + - where springs touch.
any ideas are welcome, i just upgraded from 2003 wm to wm 6.1 (but the sound was gone before...) it said before turn on bluetooth radio?

I had a similar problem with my qtek 2020.
It stopped the sound, and I thought it was someting wrong with the software, but after some reading I discovered the last time I had the headphones connected it didn´t reset the 2.5 jack female, so the system "thought" it had the headphones on, so no sound.
I connected again and disconnected a few times and the miracle hapenned.
Say somethin if this helps.

Hi, i hope you can help me, one wee ago and without explanation mi little xperia lost the sound, i mean, when i turn on the phone the sound of the begining works and if someone calls me the ringtone also works, but when i answer the call and i try to hear the other person i don't hear anything, an interesting thing is that when i try Xperoid all the things related with the sound works great, i mean, i can listen the music and talk with someone without problems. I made a hardreset and it didn't work, and i made a change in the OS to 826x Series ** WM 6.5.3 build [21682] - Sense 2019. and it didn't work too.
Actually i don't know what im gonna do but i really need the phone so i'll be happy if someone can help me!!!,

[Solved][Q] Help please!!!! I dropped my One and audio is baaad!!!

As I said,
I dropped my phone today and now everything that involves audio recording is really bad, lots of static noise I guess it's the mic but is there anything I could try to see if it solves the problem????
The rest of the phone seems to be working ok.
