I have windows media player, core player tcmp player in my Kaiser.
And... even it is possible to play it with some player (because first you get direct link from pc)... how it would be possible to find that link with some wm6 web browser?
Add: I'm sorry about propably my stubid question but our national broadcast company is doing these live & streaming thing very stupidly... I have found some links to the newest news but these links are only real media ;( And nothing sport...
rtsp://ra.yle.fi/yle24/video/uusin_mobile.rm = newest news
Thx
Sorry about spamming...
These sport news videos are one of the most important needs I wanted to work when I am abroad.
Please could somebody try this link with your Kaiser and different sw solutions if some will work.
I'll appreciate this a lot.
I was wondering if this is possible. I'm taking this Japanese class and the audio files are all online but you need some form of a quicktime plugin to view them. Is this possible on the Tilt? If this has been a topic of talk before I'm sorry, I searched and found nothing that would help. Thanks! -Dante
is converting the files an option, or only streaming? Hope you didn't say free.
streaming

hope that helps.
40 bucks... ouch. There is a trial for it so I'll give it a try to see how it works. If it goes well i'll open the good old wallet up and pay for the full thing. Thanks for the promt reply!
First some questions:
How is the audio streamed? via RTP/RTSP/SDP?
- RTP/RTSP: see the prefix of the link (eg. rtsp://...)
- SDP: prefix is normally http://...
Or has the link got an extension? Like .aac, .m4a, .m3u,...
I know RTP/RTSP is supported by Coreplayer (I use it to stream video), but I have no idea about SDP (no experience)
Are the audio streams accessible for other people, like me? In that way I can test it with Coreplayer if you like.
Hope my help is/will be useful...
chances are, those sound files are well-known sound files that tcpmp can play... it's free, so try installing that and select the appropriate suffixes to be the default player for.
Before I get Vogue and port Android, can anyone confirm whether video streaming works from orb.com?
You can go to test.orb.com to verify.
I was not able to play video from the web address you posted (it threw an error message), but I was able to download OrbLive (free version) from Android Market and stream music from my house on my phone while at work. I am not sharing any video files so i can't test it right now. Maybe I need a different media player installed to play the video file from the web link you posted?
Hope that helps somehow.
I've been looking around for the last few days for an Android app for converting YouTube music into mp3s I was just wondering if anybody knew of such app??

You will need to go to the Amazon app store or directly to the developer website since Google pulled it from the market...

Hi All
So I have spent the past hour or so going in and reading threads, but I cant find any newbie guides for idiots like myself.
Basically I have a chromecast, I got it almost a year ago. Ive barley used it as I don't find it much use. So I want to hack in to it. I have an ATV and Id like to do something similar with this if possible, load on sports channels, movie channels etc etc. And of course if anyone has any tips of anything else I can do with this gadget much appreciated.
If anyone could just post a link to a step by step guide I *should* be able to follow this, I just cant find any.
Thanks in advance.
Google's ever-expanding list of Chromecast-enabled apps is here: https://www.google.com/chrome/devices/chromecast/apps.html
There are many other interesting sources that can be accessed indirectly, but you'll really have to do some research on your own about each of them individually. There's no comprehensive guide. For example some internet video streaming sources can be accessed by running the app that accesses that source in Android, selecting the video player when prompted to be a Chromecast-enabled player like Avia, LocalCast, BubbleUPnP, AllCast etc., and then using that player to cast the video link to the Chromecast.
Or if you use Plex Media Servier on another computer, you can use the Plex client app to cast video from local files or Plex Channels to the Chromecast. Here's the guide to using Plex channels: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/categories/200109616-Channels
