Sd card not active in my phone !!!
Hey, i need a tweak to reconize the sd card in my phone, dunno what appened bet my sd card is not active in my phone,
Please, HELP me !!!
Edit : i can flash my phone with the sd method but when go to file explorer in windows mobile cant read the sd storage card
conclusion : the sd card work but cant see it in wm

have ya tried to format that from PC?
dont forget to use fat32 mode...

It could be the ROM. which ROM are you using?

Ok, i m sure its the rom i tried !!!
Touch X INFINITY 2.0B ULTIMATE X-TREME [WM 6.5]
This rom bugged my phone in 2minutes in wm !!!
soft reset always...
Remember, i cant see my storage card in windows mobile and windows seven !!
so i cant format it !!
when tried to re-flash my phone i used sd methode and its worked but only this os working.
But how can i change this rom otherwise the sd methode ?
What can i do in reality te repear it cant use my phone to call friends atm...
Edit : setting, connection, usb to pc, tried the two option (activesync and disk drive) but the two are same, cant see the sd card in windows !!!

Take a Custom_RUU and flash with PC any Rom!

help me please my hd2 could not detect memory card

hi i installed wp7 then after it i go back to win mo 6.5
but my device can not detect my micro sd card i format it and i change my sd card with new one but my device said no sd card include in tools format sd card said # the storage card has been damaged and unable to be formated #
i do every thing after this problem with my device changing rom install nand android and re install wp7 but non of them can detect memory card i do hard reset , task 29
is it soft wear problem or hard wear problem????
please help me urgent

So you are saying that you previously had WP7..So after changing ROM (windows 6.5 or Android) you need to format your card with Panasonic SD formater so it can read the full capacity of your card....BUT.....! You are saying that you did all this steps and still your device doesn't recognize your sd card and also you changed the card with a new one! HMMMMM......
Most probably a hardware problem (sd card holder and reader in the device)
Imo something went wrong with Installation or so! Dunno!
Some guys here said that WP7 will burn your card or something!
What SD cards did you use?
Anyone else that experienced this problem????

i use 8 gb sandisk micro sd memory when i put memory in my divice in stting sd card & phone storoge show no sd card
when i connect my phone to pc mass storage showe mass storeg but when i click it no data sho and my system tell please inset meomry
when i want format my sd card from my phone th phoe alert the storage card has boon damaged and unable to be formated
is this the hard wear probiem or soft wear problem
please tell me what can i do
if it's hard wear problam can i chang my sd card slot or i should change my phone mother board?????

External sd card cant be detected

My external sd card suddenly cant be detected by both my phone and my computer
I tried flashing to many different roms and still no hope

Connect your SD card via card reader to PC and try format it. If you don't see files or PC don't see this card - it can be damaged.

Card reader u mean the card adapter? i don have 1 of those
and when i connect my phone along with the external sd in it
the phone recognizes it as removable disk H but i was not able to open it
does this mean its not damaged?

The file system (partition) on SD card is broken - you need format SD card

Any other method to actually format it without the card adapter?

The easiest way is connect card via card adapter to PC and check that card and files are visible. If card is recognized but you can't access to it you need format it.
You also can do this in your own phone: in settings - memory - try disconnect external SD card and then erase/format external SD card.

Theres no such option "erase external sd" theres only erase sd card
i know this would earase my internal storage but i did it anyway following ur steps
still doesnt work

formating/erasing options depends on which rom you use.
When you connect phone with PC and tap mount SD card (or something like that) on phone screen, you should see card on PC - can you see it? You write that it has assigned drive letter H - right click on that and format it.

I tried that it says "theres no disc in drive H:" Please insert a disc and try again

try mount SD card with and without USB debuging.
try format SD card via recovery
If you have different SD card try it to eliminate ROM/settings problem.

i cant erase my external sd because its not detected
the recovery cant mount it because the external sd is not found
trying with and without debugging also didnt work oh my god

In your case there are two posibilites:
1) sd card is damaged - logically (file system/partition) or physically
2) phone is damaged - logically (ROM bug/phone settings) or physically
If you put other SD card in your phone and phone will see it and you will have access to files from that SD card you can be shure that phone is ok

hello there
my sgs1 is almost gone but i decided to fix it up
the internal sd card is gone,then i wasnt able to install any rom,include stock rom
i insert a 8 giga external and with adb created 3 new patition
than i install cm9 but the device doesnt find any sd card
i cant take pics,open galerry and install aps
when i connect the device to my computer
there is no acces to the sd card
i hope there is an way to fix it

hey guys im not able to browse mmy sd from the pc tried SD binder and nothing and i cant even find it on the explorer from the phone it self plz help me to fix this

try to remove the SD card. copy all contents to PC and format it to fat32 and copy back data and test on phone
