I'm going to buy an Opal soon.
I just want to know if it needs Touch InCall Screen Tweak or does it support menu operations during a call?
I dont think it has a light sensor so i believe you can't use this...

I used to have the HTC Touch with the Blue Elves cooked rom which was fantastic, i have now bought a diamond and the touch flow 3d is crap (well i think it is) I'm currently using the Diamond surface rom.
Any way to all you excellent chefs out there is it possible to get rid of touch flow 3d which it is manilla and install touch flow cube but with the original clock from the diamond home screen.
I think using cube would free up memory and make it alot faster because on the touch i found it flawless and really fast?
Please post if you think this would be a good idea.

you can disable touchflo 3d in the settings > Today screen

as for the touch cube, i don't know if someone ported it to VGA but you can probably use Ftouchflo and configure a "Swipe up" to bring up an action screen or something
As far as I understand this from the thread below. The supplied software adds vibration feedback using the t9 keyboard.

I'm wondering too if there's a possibility to get a small vibration feedback(like the game tweeter! ) when touching your touch (hehe).
Isn't there anyone who can make the Diamond Touch vibrate like teeter when hiting buttons on the keyboard?
Hey, sorry if this is a dumbass question, but I noticed a rom that came with a script to turn on vibration in tf3d (vibrate when screen is touched, not ringing). What mod allows you to do this permanently? Cant find it in any settings, sorry if being dumb but can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks
I don't know if it's possible to turn on vibration in all tf3d.
You can use TouchResponse, but if you turn on vibration, phone vibrates all the time you touch it, it's not only for the tf3d
Thanks tom62, will give that a try. I was lookin for the behavior that the Topaz and Rhodium give - a nice little vibrate when you touch the homescreen icons...? Deepshining rom had a vibrateon script that enabled it but cant find same in energyrom...
I was using a colleagues Diamond 2 the other day and found the screen tap vibrate a really good feature which made the handset seem more user friendly, it makes a huge difference to me when you know the input has definitely been registered by the device. I have had the same experience when using the screen tap sound in the past, but I couldn't live with the noise in all situations.
Anyway, I have had a search to see if there was a cab or similar availible but have only been able to find one that only works with the dialer - is the Diamond 2 version available for the TP?

Could someone tell me why this is doing this on incoming call and how I would fix it? Wow I posted an Image too but its not showing any way when someone calls it looks like it has the answer buttons and the slide to answer buttons at the same time its really distorted.
Hi, lets see if I understand you correctly.
1. The slide to answer is standard with the latest firmware.
2. The slider screen tends to look weird if you have some kind of non HTC-theme that changes the design of the TouchFlo system. I used to have the black dialer and that screwed up the slider screen bigtime.

yes I do have the blk dialer.No TF3D and no bloatware.
So is my only option is to live with the distortion if I want to keep the black dialer? Cause the dialer its self is fine.
