Incorrect dating on the HTC Tytn II official ROMS

Hi - I have a rom for Tytn II installed which is
version: 1.81.415.4 WWE
Date: 29 Oct 2007
Radio ver: 1.27.15.32
Protocol: 22.51.88.13W
IMEI: 35575701181308201
I planned to update it and on the HTC e-club saw this rom with date as 21st Feb 2008 - which is later than this ROM I have right ? Well, the rom after downloading reflected the name of the same as:
RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_1.56.405.5_radio_sign_22.45.88.07_1.27.12.32R2_Ship.exe
If I read this it appears that the entire details appear to be older than what I have unless HTC is numbering the roms and newer versions with a decreasing theme.
Can someone tell me which one is new ? I wanted to update my ROM and now not sure where I can get it from ?

This is as far as I can capture for the link - I have tried using the Europe, US and Asian FTP links, and they all take me to the same place. I am logging in from the Middle East site of Eclub though

you probably dont have access to the latest rom from your country's htc eclub (or something like that)

Hi all - thanks for assisting me on this. I finally figured it out:
What I am using right now is actuall the arabic support rom, which i did not realize since the language by default chosen was english. This is version 1.81.415.4 WWE
The one that I kept downloading from the EMEA site was the english one only, which was number 1.56.405.5
So I guess that it was not incorrect versioning after all. However the only problem now for me is that after downloading the english rom, i landed up getting a message saying it cant install since it is not supported by my device !!! ??? I am enclosing the screenshot with this post in case someone can help me out

Hi, how often should be available new ROM 1.93 from HTC? ME version is about 2 weeks old, but I still can not download it for my IMEI, only 1.37 I dont know which region I am in, I have version which is sold all over Europe, but I red that WWE version exists, but still I can´t download it. So, is there any way to figure out in which region I am?

I'm starting this thread, for all of you Click fans, as posting to other forum sections as well, in order to have the latest possible SW/ROMs for your beloving devices. This specific thread (as its name shows clearly) is especially based on any ROMs possible yet been released, regarding the HTC Tattoo (known with its code name as "Click"). I'll try to keep it as much updated as possible, but PLZ do not request, things which are beyond my duty as cooking these ROMs, which i'm not afraid to say, but yet,my knowldege is limitied in this specific section. As for needing Root, you don't. You do need a goldcard though.

I bought a Tattoo here in Thailand, completely unbranded, and it comes with software version 1.67.729.8, which is higher than the links posted here.
So what gives? Different numbering progression for different areas? Or do I have some kind of super secret ROM?

might be a modified donut rom for thailand, but looking to the version doesn't seem to be a major update.

Yeah, playing around with it more, it seems pretty bog standard, but with English (Thailand) and English (Philippines) as locales, and with Chinese and Thai IME pre-installed... nevermind then!

i bought a htc tattoo here in india. its completely unbranded, and has the version number 1.67.720.8
btw, the forums for tattoo seem really empty, is this phone not very popular? i really like it.

i think i may have made a mistake buying this phone...doesnt seem very popular yet..no custom roms no root access...and im already running out of phone memory. A t-mobile version of hero was available on ebay india for 22,000 and i paid 17500 for this. damn! il wait 3 months if still no root, il try selling this off and buying a htc hero.

Why do you think I upgraded to a hero?

yeah but it is quite expensive here. I have started saving up for it. Hopefully should own a hero within 1 month. I guess i should get a good re-sale on my tattoo as well as it will still have 11 months of warranty left on it.

Interesting, there's a test signed android ROM there for HTC Click (Tattoo). This may allow us to change the keys in order to run our own custom ROMs if we sign with test keys or stuff like that.
Will add a reference to this thread in my resource thread.

Hi all, got a tattoo this week locked on Orange UK. I've created a goldcard and flashed with RUU_Click_HTC_WWE_1.67.405.6_WWE_release_signed_ NoDriver.exe.
Bought an unlock code from htccode.com and says network unlock successfull but doesnt work with my o2 sim. I've also tried this with RUU_Click_Vodafone_UK.67.161.18_release_signed_NoDriver.exe that doesnt work either and 1.65.405.1 comes up with bootloader version error???
The links for the official roms on here are no longer working, if anyone could re-upload i would appreciate it. If anyone has already tried all these methods then please let me know if im wasting my time!

This is just a guess, but:
Since these are executable files start one of those and when a window pops up with an installation wizard or something similar, just go to start->run and type %tmp%
There you can search for a folder with a zip file meeting your criteria...

all vodafone companies seem to use vodafone uk rom im in south africa and im on vodacom and when i flashed vodafone uk rom it was exactly the same even had the right apn's for me

HTC Touch Pro2 (T7373): Does anybody have a valid Singapore serial number for this model that they could share with me? I live in Taiwan and bought this phone here last year. As only Traditional Chinese (CHT) language version is available in this market, the HTC retailer here installed the Worldwide English (WWE) language version of WM6.1 which I believe came from Singapore.
Now I am trying to upgrade to the latest WM6.5 (ROM version: 2.07.707.1), but still again, only the CHT version is available to download from the HTC Taiwan website. Therefore, I need a valid Singapore serial number for this phone model in order to download the WWE version from the HTC Singapore website.
Have already tried the serial number HT961L100031 that was previously posted on this site (06OCT09 – Active Stock HTC ROM serials) but it doesn’t work. Any help will be most appreciated!

Hi. I bought a similar phone in Shenzhen in Dec last year. I flashed a stock ROM from SEA. This will give the advantage of Chinese input on an English language ROM. I've just tried the serial I used to download from HTC, but it no longer works ;-(

Hi dodo2244 (and Ut0p1a): I have now safely downloaded the most recent SEA stock ROM of the Singapore WM6.5 (WWE - ROM version 2.07.707.1) and will be installing it into my Taiwan purchased Touch Pro2 tomorrow. Hopefully all will be successful and I will keep you posted. Therefore, no need to trouble you with a painful Google search. But thank you anyways for your kind offer of assistance. Nice. Actually if you check the HTC site, Singapore IS covered by SEA (South East Asia), so are Indonesia, Vietnam & Malaysia. This is the exact ROM am using now, with a few tweaks of course ;-).
