Transfer ALL contacts/phonebook to other device? - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Hi
I need to transfer all my contracts to my Bluetooth headset/handfree device.
I all have found is to transfer them one by one but that is an extremly slow process.
Does anyone know how to transfer them all?

Is There Any Way To Increase Bluetooth Transfer Speed

i mean, when i use to transfer files from my jade to any other mobile the maximum transfer speed is 24-38 kbs, whereas when i receive files from non htc device like even from a cheap nokia mobile, than the speed is very fast, dont know how much but at least 100-150kbs ,and in blutooth 2.0 the transfer speed supported is 2.1mbps ,so is there any way to increase bluetooth transfer speed

same problem for me too...
same here too
bluetooth really sucks in htc ,even in htc touch diamoind 2 same problem
The transfer speed depends on many factors, the distance between the two devices, the brand of other device, the response time and memory speed of the receiver, the running applications, ... etc.
i think you have to insure about these factors before you believe that you have a slow Bluetooth speed.

bluetooth transfer limited to a few phones?

i haven't been sharing my files(videos / mp3s) via bluetooth to my frens but recently i noticed only a few handsets seems to connect properly with my phone.. most of them just shows connection failed and informs me to make sure the other phone has object push feature.. the weird thing is i can receive all files from the other phones (videos and mp3s).. i've tried the Bluetooth File Transfer app, Astro file manager but it doesnt seem to work...
example;
i can only receive files from N95 and not send files to it..
Nokia E71 works fine both ways..
Samsung Corby also 1 way file transfer (corby to n1)
::::::::::::
I can pair all those devices but i just get object push error while transfering files to those devices..
am i the only one with this problem or does noone has ever done bluetooth sharing ?

[Q] Bluetooth pairing

Is it at all possible to connect the Hero to a computer and transfer data via bluetooth so I don't have to connect the cable every time? I have searched but not been able to find anything relevant. One form said that most roms did not have the capability but just wondered if it was possible.

Well, I'm not sure what type of data you want to transfer. For me, I just needed to copy files and install/uninstall apps and not sync data since I just use the Google cloud for syncing. So, I use WiFi instead of Bluetooth via the 'ADB Wireless' app. Then, i use third party tools like 'Android Commander' for example, to copy files back and forth and native ADB commands to install/uninstall apps over WiFi.

airdroid tethering not working

hi dear Z1 users, in the past i mennaged to connect my phone to my computer using wifi tethering with air droid, i want to achive that in order to avoid opening my usb flap, unfortunatly my wifi signal is too low for effective transfer using the router so i want to directly connect the phone to the computer.
now for some reason in the past weeks i can't get it to work... niether using airdroid own access point or if i create my own and then activate airdroid on tethering...
if anyone else encountered this i'd like to know, or if you know of a better more reliable program that does the same thats also cool.

MTP transfer protocol slow !!!

Hello,
When I want to copy data from my laptop to my MI5, it uses the MTP transfer protocol which is very slow and very often I cannot copy big files, the transfer is like frozen and fail !
On my old phone, I was using Mass storage, which was very fast.
Is there a way to go back to this Mass storage transfer ?
If not, what else can I do to speed up the file transfer ?
I am using windows 7 with USB 2 ports.
Thanks in advance
You cannot do anything about it. MTP was always slow.
You can try some sort of wifi file transfer maybe (like es file explorer etc...). That will be much faster.
You cannot use mass storage mode on internal storage, only possible on phones supporting micro SD cards in which mass storage mode will work on that micro SD card only. You can, however, use adb push/pull to upload/download files to/from your device with much better speed, especially if your device is connected via USB. Alternatively, wifi direct such as SuperBeam could also give great speed.
Thanks for your answer, I'm surprised that android force us to use such slow transfer protocol.
I'll try a wifi transfer solution.

Here's a little technical reasoning behind it: https://www.reddit.com/r/linux/comments/3ff1rm/why_does_everything_use_mtp_these_days_mtp_sucks/
