[Q] Bettercut shortcut to battery status - G1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone remember how to create a shortcut with Bettercut that will bring you directly to the battery status page in settings?

New shortcut->Activity->Battery info
this is on CM 3.9.x roms
This is a decent workaround but I wish we had our battery lock-screen still

theme apps

i want to put the hero theme on my g1...but one thing that ive seen in other themes that i like was the transparent notification background, the battery status on the notification drop down, and the reboot option when u hold the power button...does anybody know of applications that can do these things??
The battery status app is called battery status found in the market....
Reboot is a function of the rom, so is the notification background.

Removing Battery Icon From Status Bar

I was wondering if there is a simple guide to remove the battery icon completely from the status bar. My search has so far shown me links for sense based roms only. I am currently running enom's rom and would appreciate a heads up as to the name of the jar or services file within the rom that controls the icons.
thanks in advance.
You could open up the framework res, open the icon files and just erase the contents and resave. Then just make a metamorph with the empty files.
I would rather remove it completely...replacing with transparent icons will put an empty spot on the status bar.
I'm interested to remove the clock from the status bar!!
Any idea?
You can hide the clock if you're using CyanogenMod.
As for battery, I'd like to know that too as I'm using an app that shows battery in the status bar already, so system battery icon is redundant.
How can I install CyanogenMod? I use a stock rom

[Q] Where did the "status bar settings" go in CM7-RC1?

I just updated my N1 to CM7-RC1 this afternoon and I noticed there is no longer any way to access my status bar customization settings like you could in CM6.1.
Is there anywhere it could have moved to or is there any other way to do it?
I had all of the colors on the status bar changed to my liking and now I can't go back to get them back to the way I like them.
Can anyone out there help me out?
There is no such option (yet).
Any idea when the option will be added? I'm going crazy without it!
Not sure about the colour but other customizations like widget buttons and widget button order are under:
Settings --> CyanogenMod Settings --> Interface --> Notification Power Widget
Not all the status bar options made it from cyan 6. I'm still missing the dBm signal meter, etc. Maybe someday.

[Q] Battery Icon?

hey!
is there any possible way to change the regular CM7 battery indicator style to something else ..like circular percentage display or maybe something else?
download themes for cm7
There is no way to change without installing themes?
Yes u can edit framework-res.apk and set ur desired battery icon
I find how to change battery icon in CM 7.1
Go to settings -> cyanogenMod -> interface -> edit status bar -> battery style
here you can hide, set to percentage or use default icon
hope it helps

WiFi & Clock (Time) Not Showing In Status Bar

Has anyone else experienced the clock or current time and the wifi logo not showing in the staus bar? They were in the status bar when I first got the phone but a day or two later (now) I don't see it. I went through all my settings and nothing. It bothers me so much that I'm going to go back to TMobile and return the S10 for an S10+ for the better battery life and a proper status bar. Anyone experienced that? Click on link to see a screenshot of my home page and missing info on the status bar....

Did you happen to install QuickStar (from Good Lock)? If so, look under "Visibility of Indicator Icons" to make sure the icons you want are enabled. By default it removes a lot of them as soon as you launch the app
