Hi,
I'm using a HTC Touch Cruise running WM6.1 for 2 years. Recently I bought a HTC Sapphire and I'm wondering if there's an application/program that can transfer my appointments from the Touch Cruise to the Sapphire?
Also, I downloaded some free apps from Android Market. Are apps connected with your Google account, so i don't have to download them anymore, so when i reflash the device, all the apps are automatically synchronised?
Thanks

1. Yes, look in these forums for the HTC stuff, think its a sticky. Just cabs you install to get the htc today theme and HTC Home etc.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=344544
2. Not going to answer that one
3. Search using google for S2u2. That is the slide to unlock app that is freeware for your device. It works well on my TyTN2.
thank u for ur super fast answer
ill start with number one and work my way down thn
where are u from ?
is urs a orange tytn II as well
Kent in the UK and yes mine is an orange provided one, although the ROM is now the HTC one and unlocked with my O2 sim in it.
right i dl the aplication but where do i put it on the phone
which app are you referring too ?? the HTC Home or the S2U2 ?
I believe both are .cab files, so you would need to setup an activesync connection onto your pc with your phone, then you can explorer your phones disk and copy it from pc onto the phone (somewhere like my documents). Once the .cab files are installed on the actual phone, using the phone goto the file explorer program, navigate to where you put the files and click on the respective one once.. it should trigger off the install of the relevant software. follow instructions on screen and then they should be installed.
HTC Home is a Today plugin which you can access from Settings/Today/Items. S2u2 is accessible to configure from the Settings (can't remember if it was personal or System tab) but you should get a s2u2 folder in one of them. you can go into that and run the app to set it up..
Its worth mentioning I find it useful to do a restart of the phone after installing apps to make sure all these links appear.
p.s if your phone borks because you isntall these I take no responsibility
cool just got the htc home to work
looks so much better than the orange one
right time to work on the next one
i have had a good look on this forum
and wanted to know how i can edit the htc home screen
i wanted to change the icons to the ipone ones
im sure there was a programme i can use for tht
also the s2u2 i have read bits on it not working very well
just wondered if its all fixed now ?
s2u2 was pretty stable on mine when I used it (removed it as it blocked my SPB time alarms I set).
to customise HTC Home you need, HTC Home Customizer. Just google and you will find it.
that is a good programme the htc customizer
any others people would suggest ?
i have been looking for tht background they have on the ipone
the fish in the water one
Hi I'm from Bulgaria, and a big HTC fan.
A friend of mine showed me today a brand new HTC TD and Touch Flo 3D is missing. Compared to my own device, has a RSS Hub, but no Touch Flo 3D. There were no time to check the rom version of the device (may be tomorrow). Any ideas why a trader will offer it in that condition, and how to restore the plugin?

Went to Start - Setting - Today (tick TouchFlo3D on)
There is no TouchFlo3D to tick on...
If you HARD reset the device, it counts down from 3 to 0 after the OS is installed, in order to install additional programs. If you press the reset button in that time, the device will boot without installing these programs. You end up with only WM6.1 installed, and not all the HTC software as TFL3D.
@ 205_lacoste,
Thank's, that was the problem. Now everything is installed and running.

no cab file, just hard reset your diamond
touch flo 3d missing
I think I have the same problem with the guy from Bulgaria. I read the post and I want to do a HARD reset. But I don' t know how to do it or I don't understand exactly what it means
Touch Flo 3D = HTC-Sense
Hi there,
I too was wondering why my brand new TouchDiamond 2 didn't have touch Flo 3D installed. Through doing a bit of google research I found the following info in wikipedia:
From the HTC Hero[1][2] and HTC HD2 onwards, TouchFLO 3D has been heavily extended and is now being referred to, along with other usability improvements, as HTC Sense.
HTC Sense is a user interface, based on the TouchFLO 3D user interface,[1] developed by HTC for mobile devices running Android and Windows Mobile. Announced June 24, 2009, the first phone running Android to feature HTC Sense was the HTC Hero,[4][5] and the first Windows Phone to feature HTC Sense (an updated TouchFLO) was the HTC HD2, announced October 6, 2009.[6]
At the World Mobile Congress 2010, HTC showed their new updated HTC Sense UI to debut on the HTC Desire and HTC Legend, with an upgrade available for the Hero and Magic.
The Windows Mobile version of Sense is the successor to TouchFLO 3D.
Perhaps this addresses the issue you've been having? You can tell if you have HTC-Sense or Touch Flo 3D installed by going into settings, then into "all settings", then into "Today", then select the tab for "items". There you'll find a list of check boxes. If one of the check boxes says Touch Flo 3D then you have that, if not it should say HTC Sense. Checking or unchecking that box will enable or disable that functionality for your phone. Hope this helps! Good luck!!
Cheers!
I have the same problem but the hard reset dont help...please hepl me
I have also been having some problems with my Diamond. My uncle got it in a contest, but could not use it with Verizon. I got it, started it, and the installation process worked up until a point, where it froze. I soft restarted the device and it seemed that all was working, except no Touch FLO. Checked the Today section settings, no TFLO option. However, under Settings>System there was a TouchFLO icon, it seems to just be options for TFLO. The phone has been working fine with my AT&T SIM, even after hard resetting twice, everytime, (even after leaving it plugged in and on all night) the install stayed frozen. I called HTC support, and apparently my phone is an Indonesian model (that explains why the charging adapter what European, and no carrier logo is found on the box or phone) but they could not fix my problem. Is there anyway I can get TouchFLO?
You'll need to go to settings and set up TouchFlo3D on the startup...
It's been a few months since I have been to this forum and it looks like there are lots of cool new programs and a new device (the diamond) that has provided some new cabs. I had gotten a lot of great cabs and tips here from last September through Spring but have not really added much to my phone since then. I had Ultimate Launcher with HTC Home as one of the cube faces and I really loved it. Anyway, I recently ruined my Tilt and had it replaced but the new Tilt has windows mobile 6.1 in place of 6.0 and not all of my old cabs/programs work anymore. I'm excited to see what else is out there for 6.1, but in the meantime, I noticed that the stock tilt comes with a version of HTC Home that has 4 of the 5 tabs (it's missing the music tab). I tried to use HTC home customizer but I can't. I can't seem to load a new version of HTC home over it either. I could not find the HTC Home program in the list of removable programs.
Maybe it's time for me to take the leap and move to a flashed ROM but every time I read through the instructions I get a little nervous and decide to wait until I feel like I really know what I am doing.
Anyway, I'd like to remove this stock version of HTC Home and load up a new version of HTC Home and start adding some cool cabs that work with WM6.1 but I can't find any threads addressing this HTC Home issue. Does anyone have any advice?
I too am interested in this if it is possible.
I dont have a working pc at home right now so flashing is not really an option for me.
What version of HTC home are you trying to install. I think there are a few out there. Also what error or msg are you getting when trying to install the faulty htc home plugin?
I successfully installed the new HTC home over the stock one on my AT&T stock ROM 6.1 and nothing broke. it pretty much overwrites the previous one so you don't have any duplicate entries in the remove programs or anything.
i tried to install HTC Home - Schen 2.1 with N2A weatherpatch (UPX compressed). i just realized my mistake was not deselcting it from the home screen before installing the cab. i feel like a jackass. thanks to the people who offered help. by the way is there a newer, better version of HTC home to install?
I have an HTC HD7 and am very proud of it. But what do I do as I want to register my HD7 on the HTCSense.com...But I just realized its only for HTC Desire and Desire Z...WHY???
Isn't HD7 an HTC phone??
ANy help??
HTC Sense is a theme that was made only for WM 6.5 and Android. WP7 uses the same exact UI regardless of the phone you use. The closest you get to Sense is the HTC Hub which has the classic flip clock that you can look at.

WP7 has the remote locking, find on the map, ring your phone via windows live....
HTCSense.com has HTC Sense in its name, hasn't it? So that means, that HTCSense.com is only for HTC Phones with Sense (more precisely: those HTC phones with the new Sense-Version, atm: DHD and DZ, not even the original Desire has this function). And the WP7-phones from HTC don't have Sense on them, so they don't have any access to HTCSense.com. But, like some other people in this thread already said, you can get the exact same functions via Windows Live.
Hi HtcSence, com is only for Android Devices as Microsoft has implemented the same through its live serives
In both cases ( HTC Sense.com and Windows live)
You get Remote locking of your phone
Remote Ringing even when phone is silent
and Location of your phone
Cached Maps so Zero loading time
I think Htc has actually copied it from Microsoft
If you log in to your live account you will have all the options there
Click on the Windows Live Logo (top left of your page)
and click devices
Good Luck
Hi,
l've been using XBackup on my XDA IIi for years now.
Having moved over to HTC HD l would like to transfer my thousands of sms and favorites to my HTC. It is a big deal. l have tried downloading XBackup to my HTC but to no avail as it seems to be an Android App.
Does anyone know how to get XBackup onto a HTC HD?
Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks.
No I'm afraid its not possible.....there's no way currently to backup sms from android to wp7 :/
Thanks for the reply. I think there's some confusion. I don't want to transfer from Android to W7. I merely need XBackup on a HTC HD.
Thanks.
currently there is no way to backup sms from a stock rom....u need to have atleast one kind of unlock....then you can backup sms
