How to downgrade back to WM 6.0?

Hi together.
I think I speak for nearly everybody who has checked out the "Upgrade" to 6.1: it's a complete failure!
There are so many softwares which do not run anymore making no problems on the original ROM. HTC must have known about Skype not to run anymore. Not letting the users know that this (to many of us important) software does not run anymore is something I would almost call mean. The second important software to me by the way is TCPMP, which also doesn't run anymore as long as mpeg-4 (Xvid) support is not removed.
I could not experience any(!) improvements so far, but many disadvantages.
So, in order to be able to use my Kaiser again, I would like to "upgrade" from 6.1 to 6.0 again. Does anybody know where to get the ROM? I have got the German version of the Kaiser and also would need the German ROM...

As this is your first post , welcome to the Forum. Now for the unpleasantries. Please read the Kaiser Wiki and the forum rules before posting in the future. The short comings of Official 6.1 are well documented in many other exsisting threads. Starting a new thread on an exsisting suject is a No ,No here and against forum rules and will win you no friends here.
All the information you need is in the Wiki including all previous roms. Good luck and remember it is not nice to ask other people to search for information for you. Good Luck.

can anybody upload the official german wm 6.0 ROM for htc mobiles? I want to downgrade from 6.1 to 6.0 too.

Back to German 6.0, short recipie for dummies (like me)
Got my Kaiser back to 6.0! I hope it's okay to post it like this, saving beginners much time reading in wikis and other pages. As this concerns mostly German people I think I can switch language now.
Also, um das fürchterlichste Update aller Zeiten loszuwerden haben sich die Leute von XDA-developers etwas einfallen lassen. Und das beste daran: es funktioniert!
Hier eben eine kleine Anweisung wie ich es gemacht habe. Bitte keine Hintergrundinfos von mir erfragen, ich weiß mal gerade was man tun muss, um wieder auf 6.0 zu kommen. Was sich da im Hintergrund tut, naja, dafür gibt’s die Experten.
Was man braucht:

Falls die links so nicht funktionieren, einfach mal nach den Dateinamen googeln oder den Artikel lesen.
Schritt 1:
Um den Kaiser überhaupt „fremde“ ROMs akzeptieren zu lassen benötigen wir HardSLP.
Wie man dieses Update installiert schaut man sich am besten erst einmal hier an:

Schritt 2:
Nachdem man alle seine Lieblingsdaten gesichert hat startet man das Update. Dazu gibt’s nicht viel zu sagen. Einfach den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm folgen.
Schritt 3:
Nachdem der Kaiser wieder hochgefahren ist und seine Software installiert hat, muss man noch das Radio-Update installieren. Sonst klappt’s wohl mit den Verbindungen nicht. Das Upgrade macht bei 95% eine Denkpause, geht dann aber weiter, also keine Panik.
Et voila, der Kaiser ist wieder „heile“. Ich hab’s genau so gemacht und alles funktioniert wieder, natürlich auch Skype!!

Experiences with this Update.
From what I can tell after one week of using it, I can say that it behaves pretty much like it did before I x-graded to 6.1. The only thing that does not "work" anymore is the Windows Update feature. It produces a connection error. However, whenever I used it, nothing was found anyway. And as "Never touch a running system" is as true as it can be about the Kaiser, I think we can live without it.
Performance:
With 6.1 after sliding out the keyboard the screen hang for a second or two while it turned the screen in the background and displayed it quickly after being ready with it. Now it takes a second to turn it "piece by piece". A question of taste, I guess.
6.1: Sliding the keyboard gave a sound like "Dingle-drpfffkkrst-ing". Back to 6.0 is sound more like "dingle-ding" again.
6.1: With the updated version of TCPMP none of my videos really played smoothly, regardless which settigs I used. Back to 6.0 all my videos, .avi and .mp4, run very smooth. Mp4 files did run smooth on the windows media player in 6.1, but just not in TCPMP .

Window Mobile 6.5x

Hallo,
Habe mein Xperia X1 upgedatet mit dem ROM R3AA013. Hier hieß es, dass das das aktuelle ROM für Windows Mobile 6.5x sein soll. Das Update hat ohne Schwierigkeiten geklappt. Nur sehe ich immer noch Windows Mobile 6.1. Muss ich noch extra das Betriebssystem nachladen oder etwas an den Einstellungen ändern. Wer kann mir da Auskunft geben. Hoffe, das ich die Frage im richtigen Thread gepostet habe.

welcome to XDA.
1st of all, pls post in English or at least provide a translation (as defined in the forum rules).
As to your question: There was, is no and never will be an official wm6.5 rom for X1. All stock roms are 6.1, as you just noticed. If you want to change that, you need to h-spl your phone and flash a custom rom (explained in the stickies).
About posting correctly: It's sub fora, you opened a thread. And with a little search even that wouldn't have been necessary.
Chances are high this thread will be closed soon. So drop an answer as long as it is still open.

the R3AA013 is a stock rom but from SE there will be NO update to wm6.5
if you want wm6.5, htc sense etc you will have to flash one of the many custom roms but before you can do this you must hard-spl your x1.
please take a look at the tutorials, at least the first 4 threads in this forum!

ob ich irgendein Recht hab das Handy umzutauschen
Denn ich hab es heute fallengelassen und das ganze Display ist gesprungen !
Für eine schnelle Antwort wäre ich euch Dankbar

1) You can edit your post. Leave the original text, but put a translated version of it underneath. That would satisfy the XDA global rules.

Unfortunately the warranty does not cover breakage. Go to your browser and navigate to the site for Samsung in Germany. The section under "support" will have a list of service locations. Good luck!

LG service trolled me, blowed all fuses of BL

Hey Guys,
A week ago my 4x HD had some touchscreen problems so i gave it to the LG Service that they fix it.
I just uninstalled CM11 and reflashed stock but didn't relock the bootloader because i know that they can look if it was unlocked before.
I mean they just needed to replace the touchscreen and yeah they did a pretty good job.
BUT... they also locked my bootloader, not once but 16 times. So they blown all my relock fuses just to troll or punish me?
Because i think they want to troll ppl rooting their phones. Now i got a permanently locked phone.
Do you think i can say that they damaged my phone and get all my money back? Because burning hardware fuses is nothing else than damaging my property. I live in Germany and i think it is illegal to do sth like that.
So i want to ask you guys: am I right and is there any way to unlock it? I mean it would be better if they say that my warranty is void instead of damaging my phone. A new Touchscreen is 14€, if i knew that i had done it by myself.

lg's service often does that, unfortunately.
you could go to their service and demand explanation? in germany atleast, the customer is protected well enough that you could ask for a refund or something. good luck

Sorry, but for that specific question I can't give my answer in english. The Laws are very different for different countrys so mybe this is also only interesting for people in Germany. For all else I apologize for not writing in english and hope for your all understanding. I will only write about some customer rights in Germany - not about unlocking a Phone with all fuses blown. Dazu muss man zunächst eine Frist zur Nacherfüllung setzen und denen die Gelegenheit geben das 'wieder in Ordung zu bringen'. In diesem technisch speziellen Falle wird das wohl nur durch Austausch des Motherboards oder des gesamten Geräts gehen. LG wird das aller Voraussicht nach ablehnen. Wenn du beweisen kannst, dass das Gerät in einem verschlechtertem Zustand zurückkam, der nicht vorher schon war und der fahrlässig oder (in diesem Fall wohl eher) vorsätzlich durch die Werkstatt verursacht wurde, dann besteht Anspruch auf Schadnersatz über den am Gerät verlohren gegangenen Wert (also 'Wert vor dem Schaden' minus 'Wert nach dem Schaden') - bedauerlicherweise vermutlich nur einen sehr mageren Betrag wenn das Gerät an sich noch geht. Du müsstest dann nach Ablauf der Nachbesserungsfrist diesen kostenpflichtig Anmahnen. Dafür entstehen dir aber zunächst mal Kosten für einen Anwalt die du nur von LG zurück bekommst wenn du am Ende Recht behältst. Du müsstets entscheiden ob es dir das Wert ist. Sicher schadet es nicht die bekannten Rechts-Seiten mal nach "Schaden nach Reparatur" zu durchsuchen, dort wirst du mehr Infos bekommen als in einem reinen Technik-Forum. Viel Glück troz dieser vielleicht nicht so schönen Aussichten.

Fiddling with the BL makes you lose all warranty claims, so in front of the law it does not look very good imho. It is also not a thing they need to do for you because they did not sell the phone with the option to unlock the BL.
It's worth a try demanding an explanation but I don't think you can expect anything from first level support. They probably don't even know what a fuse is.
Do I get it right that you have a locked BL now since they blew all fuses? Diese Schweine!

Can't tell if my OS is legit

It's been a long.. long journey bouncing between being sure all of my phones are rooted, and being sure I'm actually insane.

My first question; Is there a normal explanation for why Google would notify me that I'm running an older version of Android when visiting the "learn more" page for the pixel 5?

Why would everyone get this message? It doesn't make sense why they wouldn't have fixed this, or completely removed it. I would love to accept your answer, but there are too many other things involved that keep me from shrugging off this notice.
If you can somehow show me that "everyone gets this" that would help.
