Hallo,
Habe mein Xperia X1 upgedatet mit dem ROM R3AA013. Hier hieß es, dass das das aktuelle ROM für Windows Mobile 6.5x sein soll. Das Update hat ohne Schwierigkeiten geklappt. Nur sehe ich immer noch Windows Mobile 6.1. Muss ich noch extra das Betriebssystem nachladen oder etwas an den Einstellungen ändern. Wer kann mir da Auskunft geben. Hoffe, das ich die Frage im richtigen Thread gepostet habe.

1st of all, pls post in English or at least provide a translation (as defined in the forum rules).
As to your question: There was, is no and never will be an official wm6.5 rom for X1. All stock roms are 6.1, as you just noticed. If you want to change that, you need to h-spl your phone and flash a custom rom (explained in the stickies).
About posting correctly: It's sub fora, you opened a thread. And with a little search even that wouldn't have been necessary.
Chances are high this thread will be closed soon. So drop an answer as long as it is still open.

the R3AA013 is a stock rom but from SE there will be NO update to wm6.5
if you want wm6.5, htc sense etc you will have to flash one of the many custom roms but before you can do this you must hard-spl your x1.
please take a look at the tutorials, at least the first 4 threads in this forum!

I do not know exactly what the tool has made, it was like the Kaiser said unlocker I used
did u remember to flash back your original radio? if not than you need to do that. After running Kaiser unlocker you need to re-flash your radio. You can download the radio from xda by searching for it.

download both files from my ftp (link below) to one folder and run customruu.exe... It will flash the 1.64.08.21 radio and you should be fine.

Ich nehm mal an du hast des HardSPL draufgespielt, also den bootloader (such mal im rom forum danach HARDSPL heisst des). Am besten rat ich dir, du flasht danach einfach das NOTHRILL v3 GERMAN rom. Das ist WM6.1 incl Radio, ohne den ganzen Tmobile schmarrn drauf. Danach hast du praktisch ein HTC Geraet, welches neuere software drauf hat, und den ganzen tmobile schmarrn nichtmehr drauf hat. Ich hab des bei mir drauf, und es funktioniert wunderbar.
Wenn du das nicht willst, dann such nach einem WM6.0 radio, des sind die mit 1.2X.XX. Rat ich aber davon ab...

I assume you installed Hardspl, the bootloader (if not search in the rom forums). I suggest you flash the nothrill v3 german rom. Thats WM6.1 including an appropriate Radio, without all the tmobile mess on it. Then you basically have a stock HTC device, with newer software, and without the tmobile stuff. I installed it on my device and it works perfectly.
if you do not want to do that, search for a WM6.0 radio, thats the ones starting with 1.2X.XX. I dont suggest that (just update the rom).

I am sorry, my mistake. You still have your original ROM (WM 6.0) on the Vario. Try to flash the underneath Radio which is for WM 6.0 (the one before is for WM 6.1. Sorry once more

I think I speak for nearly everybody who has checked out the "Upgrade" to 6.1: it's a complete failure!
There are so many softwares which do not run anymore making no problems on the original ROM. HTC must have known about Skype not to run anymore. Not letting the users know that this (to many of us important) software does not run anymore is something I would almost call mean. The second important software to me by the way is TCPMP, which also doesn't run anymore as long as mpeg-4 (Xvid) support is not removed.
I could not experience any(!) improvements so far, but many disadvantages.
So, in order to be able to use my Kaiser again, I would like to "upgrade" from 6.1 to 6.0 again. Does anybody know where to get the ROM? I have got the German version of the Kaiser and also would need the German ROM...

As this is your first post , welcome to the Forum. Now for the unpleasantries. Please read the Kaiser Wiki and the forum rules before posting in the future. The short comings of Official 6.1 are well documented in many other exsisting threads. Starting a new thread on an exsisting suject is a No ,No here and against forum rules and will win you no friends here.
All the information you need is in the Wiki including all previous roms. Good luck and remember it is not nice to ask other people to search for information for you. Good Luck.

Got my Kaiser back to 6.0! I hope it's okay to post it like this, saving beginners much time reading in wikis and other pages. As this concerns mostly German people I think I can switch language now.
Also, um das fürchterlichste Update aller Zeiten loszuwerden haben sich die Leute von XDA-developers etwas einfallen lassen. Und das beste daran: es funktioniert!
Hier eben eine kleine Anweisung wie ich es gemacht habe. Bitte keine Hintergrundinfos von mir erfragen, ich weiß mal gerade was man tun muss, um wieder auf 6.0 zu kommen. Was sich da im Hintergrund tut, naja, dafür gibt’s die Experten.

Schritt 1:
Um den Kaiser überhaupt „fremde“ ROMs akzeptieren zu lassen benötigen wir HardSLP.
Wie man dieses Update installiert schaut man sich am besten erst einmal hier an:

Schritt 2:
Nachdem man alle seine Lieblingsdaten gesichert hat startet man das Update. Dazu gibt’s nicht viel zu sagen. Einfach den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm folgen.
Schritt 3:
Nachdem der Kaiser wieder hochgefahren ist und seine Software installiert hat, muss man noch das Radio-Update installieren. Sonst klappt’s wohl mit den Verbindungen nicht. Das Upgrade macht bei 95% eine Denkpause, geht dann aber weiter, also keine Panik.
Et voila, der Kaiser ist wieder „heile“. Ich hab’s genau so gemacht und alles funktioniert wieder, natürlich auch Skype!!

Experiences with this Update.
From what I can tell after one week of using it, I can say that it behaves pretty much like it did before I x-graded to 6.1. The only thing that does not "work" anymore is the Windows Update feature. It produces a connection error. However, whenever I used it, nothing was found anyway. And as "Never touch a running system" is as true as it can be about the Kaiser, I think we can live without it.
Performance:
With 6.1 after sliding out the keyboard the screen hang for a second or two while it turned the screen in the background and displayed it quickly after being ready with it. Now it takes a second to turn it "piece by piece". A question of taste, I guess.
6.1: Sliding the keyboard gave a sound like "Dingle-drpfffkkrst-ing". Back to 6.0 is sound more like "dingle-ding" again.
6.1: With the updated version of TCPMP none of my videos really played smoothly, regardless which settigs I used. Back to 6.0 all my videos, .avi and .mp4, run very smooth. Mp4 files did run smooth on the windows media player in 6.1, but just not in TCPMP .
Is there a way to give "ONLY" an app the root access on non-rooted phones?
e.g. use bluex with full funktion on an non-rooted phone

Ich bin derzeit auf der Suche nach einem schnellem optimierten Rom ohne Manilla und HTC Sense also ein Ressourcenschonendes ROM auf deutsch.
Lieb wäre mir noch die Funktion, dass sich die Tastatur sowie Bilder automatisch mit Lage des HTC Touch HD drehen.

Kleiner TIPP
Macht bitte nach dem Flashen 2-3 manuelle SoftResets, damit die Konfiguration vollständig abgeschlossen werden kann, denn läuft das Telefon wie SAU!

Finally a German language ROM with 2.1 Manila and "official" WM 6.5
Will gladly test that... Although Rapidshare is annoyingly slow...
The benchmark, however, is extremely high... Touch_X has been a pure pleasure for me concerning speed, stability, power consumption. It is a perfect ROM for everyday use.
I think there must be quite some demand for nice German ROMs out there... Too many people unhappy with their stock ROM device... (but then again, too many people don´t know how to make a change).
Will report soon about my experience.
I know your expectations are very high, but I'm sure you all will not be disappointed! Although I must admit that itje makes the best X1i-ROMs ...

I tested it and so far it seems stable and nice, but i switched back to the energy rom again, because i miss the programm tab in manilla and i really don't like the startmenu which is not useable and i miss the 1% Battery.
Anyway great work maybe if you change that thinsg then i will be happy to use it because the rest seems great

it is because if you have lots of programms installed which you would like to use often, you have to scroll everytime like hell to the end of the list, so it is impossible to work fast also because there is no programm tab in manilla, normaly for me i wouldn't care if one of this would be in, but at your rom both options are not in, so i have only the startmenu to start programms and there i need to scroll everytime to the end of the list to get my most used programs so for me i can't work fast with that rom, but thats just my view and you asked about it , anyway i find your work really good but the programm thing is for me to important and thats the reason why i switched back to the energy rom.

i tested a lot of romz I'm still using an wm6.1 rom (aif 2.3 or something) so i'll give yours a try it looks very nice and promissing... will see if it's that stabile like the wm6.1 is so the screenshots are very very nice i'll report if the download is finished and i flashed the stuff... hope it'll be my new rom!

I have only three little issues:
- German hardware keyboard special chars not working. I personally don't like the HTC software keyboard - is it possible to include the standard wm software keyboard and fix the hw keyboard issue?
- XPeria Camera not working - but i was able to install it using the r3a-camera cab.
- 5% or 1% battery gauge would be very nice - i wasn't able to install the sex1cons wm6.5 v.1.1 battery icons (installation error).
I'm looking forward for the next version of this rom - it has very much potential!

Ok great to hear so far i have to say: IT'S MY NEW ROM!!!
It works stabile like my revoulutionx1 wm6.1 did so far the new manila is really great i don't get that other cooks don't managed to cook in there romz - so i like you menu style very much don't think the scrolling is too much hehe how i said i like it! so keep on developing your romz so far i keep it it's the first wm6.5 that's great for me i tested all the other german romz from x10 and so on but yours i keep on my x1... so thanks again for your fine stabile good working rom - the prom selection you did in the rom is also very nice...
One little thing that could be changed or added would be the functionality that when the right button is pushed long time the phone would be locked. that would be a nice feature for fast access that function - maybe it's possible via the settings to set that i don't know and havn't tried yet but if you could add that as a personal wish from me would be great it doesn't matter if it's not possible...

Die bereits berichteten bugs kann ich bestätigen.
Das ROM ist schnell, sehr angenehm.
Die etwas andere Herangehensweise für das Startmenu ist wohl nicht jedermanns Sache - auch meine nicht wirklich.
Etwas gravierender war und ist für mich die Tatsache gewesen, dass in eben jenem Startmenu praktisch alle Einstellungen fehlen. Wer also Manila aus welchem Grund auch immer zumindest temporär ausschalten muss oder will, kommt automatisch in Probleme, weil die Einstellungen für den "Heute" Screen nicht mehr aufrufbar sind.
Verwirrend ist bestimmt auch das Länder-Setup - da ist nichts aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum vorkonfiguriert - aber das geht ja ganz schnell manuell.
Hut ab für dieses schnelle ROM - das so aber bestimmt nicht für den Massengeschmack durchgeht (wie die vom bereits erwähnten itje). Für mich fehlt dann doch der Programm-Tab und/oder ein wirklich "vollständiges" Startmenu inkl. Einstellungen etc.
