Anyone know where I could get the files and where to push them?
Does HTC_IME even get updated?
In Cyanogen mod when you swipe left or right on the virtual keybaord, the keys change to a different layout (QWERTY, compact QWERTY and a 1-9 phone keyboard), but you can't do that with the HTC_IME in JacHero. I assume I could just push the IME from CM, but I don't know which files are associated with it.

On the Motoblur Rom the left+right touch keys either side of the drawer brings up the phone+one I can't remember
I was wondering if it was possible to do it in Launcher2
I'm guessing not as it means changing of frameworks etc
But just thought I'd ask
are you talking about doing something like this:

What the title says, can't use swype or htc ime as efficiently as the default keyboard. Is this possible?(I would use my keyboard if it weren't so slow to pull it out)
push LatinIME.apk from cm5 to /system/app/
I have a question about the full qwerty keyboard:
Where can I find a .cab for full qwerty keyboard installation; also used on my TD1?
See the attached file for a screenshot.
This comes pre installed on wm devices. Tap on the litle icon by your keyboard and select keyboard
Only with WM on the TD1?
The ROM used is the original HTC rom. When I check the different keyboard modes the blue one is not available.
I'm sure that there are skins for Fingerkeyboard that are blue. It is also compatible in landscape-mode.
Hi!
I am not entirely happy with neither the stock keyboard (space bar to narrow, I.keep.hitting.period.instead) nor the Google keyboard whch is available on the Play Store (umlauts (äöü) need left or right swipes to get to because the numbers are the standard option after a longpress). However, the Cyanogenmod Keyboard fulfills both requirements.
Could someone please pull the Textinput.apk from a CM-Rom so I can replace the Google one with the CM Keyboard? Or better yet, compile the APK for me to be installed independently? I would very much apreciate the effort!
EDIT: Just tried it myself, downloaded CM, copied it to SD, installed. But the numbers are still default on a long press. Could someone please change the keyboard language to German and longpress o and u? see if 7 and 9 are the default longpress letters? thank you!

I rootet my phone and thought the swift keyboard was just a layout. And I dont like the swift keyboard, so I deletet it. What I didnt know was, that this wasnt just a layout, it was the whole keyboard. I wanted the AOSP Keyboard from Lineage, so I downloaded the APK and installed it. But neither the AOSP keyboard, nore the google keyboard from the play store cant be activated. (see screenshots)
How do I get rid of the swift keyboard and get the AOSP ready to use?
Edit: These screenshot were made after I resettet my phone and after I reflashed the system.img.
