Any help is greatly appreciated.
I have the phone rooted with the SIM unlock. The phone will allow me to pop In a T-Mobile SIM card and search for network. But... When I pop in an at&t sim, the search for network function is greyed out and unable to be clicked to find the att network and connect. Any reason why a tmobile SIM works but a at&t SIM does not?
The AT&T sim card inserted can receive calls and texts, but it will not allow me to make a call or send a text back. It shows limited service and no signal.
Thanks in advance
happens to me too. what did you figure out?
I bought a Cellcom S6 Edge on eBay. The seller said the phone was currently activated on Verizon, so I bought it.
I put my nano sim in and activated the sim card. The phone can send/receive calls and texts, but can only receive mms and not send them. Whenever I try to send it says failed and then at the bottom "service not activated on network."
I also have a small triangle next to the network signal/4g icon. It does not say LTE either.
What should I do?
I have purchase the Note 5 Dual SIM. Both SIM's are active, one in 4G and the other in 2G.
I want to use data from the 4G sim (emails, browsing +Phone and text) and that the 2 G SIM should support Phone and text only.
My issue is that I am able to receive calls and text sent to either SIM, but if I try to make a call or send a text I am only able to do it from the 4G SIM. If I try to go it from the 2G SIM I get the following error "Mobile network not available".
It is not an issue with the SIM card as I can switch them back and forth and both work fine in the 4G slot.
Call forwarding is not allowed by my 2G sim network provider.
I can only make call if i convert it from 2G to 4G.

Hi,
I use dual sim and one is for phone calls and one for internet connection. When I make a phone call, there is no connection to the internet. Navigation with google maps says that it is offline and no messages or mails are received. When the call ends. The connection is working again. During the call the Mi8 shows 4G for both sim cards.
Is this a configuraton problem?
Hi!
There is not active-active SIM card slots, it means that if you do a phone call with SIM1, SIM2 will be off-line during the call.
Try this, go to settings and in the search bar on top write: unrestricted data
Open the menu, more, show system and find Phone... Enable it and try it again see if this solve your problem.

Try this: set your region to Hong Kong, then reboot your phone. Once it's on, go to the Sim Cards & Mobile Networks option and enable VoLTE on both Sim 1 and Sim 2. Then give it another go.
Hi, thank you for your replies. It works now with VoLTE, but only if the connection is set to SIM1. SIM2 is off during calls.
Hello all. I have an o2 sim in sim slot 1, and an EE sim in sim slot 2. If someone calls me on my o2 sim, it shows me their phone number without an issue. However if someone calls my EE sim, it just shows private number. I have tried swapping the sims over but it doesn't make a difference unfortunately. Someone on another forum directed me here for help. Any help would be much appreciated!
Does this happens with the same person calling you?
That person calls your o2 SIM and him/her number shows, but if THE SAME person calls you to the EE SIM it shows as private number???
Is this what is happening?? Really?
Seems a weird thing to be a matter of the phone itself, but i might be wrong.....
Yes that is what happens

And if anyone else using that carrier EE it shows as private number?
It doesn't matter what network they are on, all calls show as private number
