I was wondering any1 hav adfree 0.32. When i try running it i get a error java.io.eofexception
I'm getting the same error too. Found this post on the dev's thread and gonna give it a go:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5214377&postcount=201
That didn't work :-(
But this solution did, LOL, not a full fix but sort of worked:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5214682&postcount=202
After you get the initial error, hit back, then try download again and it works.

Hi,
I have an Omnia 7 that used to run the official dev beta 2 on it. So, when I plugged it into Zune it prompted me to update to the new official release.
Step 1-9 (incl installing updates) went OK.
Then it restarts the phone and has 2 new steps (1-2), here however, I always get error: 8007001F.
I cant find any good explanation on Microsoft site either. I removed all IE, Maps and Search history, nothing.
Ideas??
Same here
I hava the same error with my omnia 7 and was running the dev b2 too.
I tried hard reset, downgrade to nodo, changing computer, ... the error is still here ;( No idea ?

Yesterday I rooted my phone with no hiccups, everything went fine and now have a rooted AT&T HTC One. The only thing is the program I used to root created my backup of my apps/settings/messages/contacts/etc. to my macbook as a backup.db file. When attempting to restore my device with said backup.db file I receive a message something along the lines of, "adb server out of date" and it will not let me restore. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have USB debugging enabled?
debugging is enabled and gunnyman can you explain that further? very new to android as i just switched from apple when i bought the htc in april/may
Your information is stored on a database. You need a way to interact with the database. Try installing the app I linked.
i was freezing and uninstalling apps last night and must have removed something critical to the operating system. Now my phone will only load the Security Error screen with (authetication failure) in small print. i've been told that my phone isn't bricked but that i need to reflash the image. Im currently in Download mode but don't know what to do next. i have the rom image that i initially rooted the phone with. Thanks in Advance. peace
same boat ... but i don.t have the system.img in my storage
Try this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/guide-recovering-bootloop-twrp-t3167361. Try adb pushing the image to your phone if it still recognize the connection
adb push system_image_name.img /sdcard/system_image_name.img

YES YES YES i still am having this issue. Thanks for responding
I tried to root my ATT LG G4 H810 running H81010I using this procedure: how-to-root-the-att-h810-lg-g4 page at androidexplained.com ... I now get a "Security Error" with "Authentication Fail #11" everytime it boots up and then shuts down. I believe I used 10g instead of 10i version (which I downloaded from the root-tmo-vzw-intl-variants-soon-root-lg-t3164765 page at xda-developers.com/g4/orig-development/), but now cannot seem to use any of the recovery methods because I do not know how to push the proper [system.img] file to the root directory. I can get to the "Firmware Update" screen but the hard reset function does not appear to work.
Can anyone help?
Hey hey i'm also having an authetication error with my LG G4 on sprint. I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO DO THO. Sorry for the caps i'm seriously freaking out because no where on my phone in the settings could i find out if it was LS991Zv4 or Zv5 or whatever i was so i used the method that seemed to work for most people and now i'm just sitting here crying because i just GOT this damn phone ;w;
i can't find a KDZ file for my phone anywhere ;w;

Also stuck
Hi, saw you helping a lot of people. Hope I can be next, lol. I'm attempting to repair a botched root attempt on H8110. Apparently, the first rooted image was not the correct one. The phone is stuck in a boot loop with "Security Error". I can get into download mode, but can no longer USB copy the correct image over. What steps can I take to get back on track? Thank you!

SamsungQuickShare4AllThis tiny batch script makes Samsung Quick Share working on non-Samsung Windows PCs by spoofing a registry value that the program checks when opening.
UsageDownload the script here and just run it (it could ask for admin rights). You'll only need to run it once, after that it'll automatically launch itself after every startup/reboot.
How to download Quick ShareIf you want the latest Store version go here, paste the store link of the app, click the checkmark, scroll down, download the one named SAMSUNGELECTRONICSCoLtd.SamsungQuickShare_xxxxxxxx_neutral_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.msixbundle (the only one that ends with .msixbundle), then open it and install it. You won't need to download every update like this, it'll automatically update from the Microsoft Store when there is a new version.
Remember that your phone's screen needs to be on and unlocked to be discoverable from your PC (unfortunately it's a limitation of Quick Share itself)!
TroubleshootingAll should work fine just by running the .bat file, but if you're having issues try applying DriverCheckBypass.reg (just run the file, then Yes and then Ok), especially if your PC doesn't have an Intel AX wireless adapter (e.g. Intel AC/Broadcom/Realtek/Marvell etc.).
Keep in mind that latest versions from the Store could contain patches to this method, so if you encounter any issue download this older version here.
DisclaimerKeep in mind that Samsung could fix this any time. So, if it doesn't work, probably they have fixed it. However, as of 11/7/2021, I can confirm that it works perfectly (doesn't display the unsupported device error and file sharing works both sending and receiving), tested on Lenovo Yoga C940 with Intel AX201 wireless adapter (support for other adapters cannot be guaranteed). Also, I'm not responsible for any loss or damage.
DownloadYou can download it here!

Samsung Quick Share 4 AllThis tiny script makes Samsung Quick Share working on non-Samsung Windows PCs by spoofing a registry value that the program checks when opening. This repository includes:
a .bat Batch version of the script (run as admin);
a .ps1 PowerShell version of the script (run ad admin);
a .xml Task Scheduler task to make it launch at startup (check "run with highest privileges" when creating/importing the task). The task is configured to run the .bat version of the script, but you can change it to run the .ps1 one if you like.
DisclaimerKeep in mind that Samsung could fix this any time. So, if it doesn't work, probably they have fixed it. Good morning, may be you can help me with the setup, so I installed the app and ran the .bat file, when I launch the app it asked me to login to my Samsung account, which I did and then in next screen it says 'Turn on Bluetooth to connect to nearby devices', so do I need to turn on Bluetooth in both my laptop and Samsung Phone and then only it will connect?

Good morning, yes, you need to turn on BT on both PC and phone, as well as Quick Share on your phone. The first time you'll send a file, it could ask you to pair your devices via bluetooth.

If the transfer shows "failed" or never completes, try going to Bluetooth settings and unpairing the devices, and then retrying sending a file, it will ask to pair again. Also: do you have Intel wireless drivers? And which version of Quick Share are you using (the latest one from Store or the older one)?

Yes, they restrict allowed drivers to the ones that come with their Galaxy Book devices, which is AX series, so try applying DriverCheckBypass.reg file and then retry. Don't worry, it won't install anything and won't mess with your drivers, it will just create the registry keys and values that the app checks regarding drivers. However, thanks for reporting!

Try toggling Quick Share off and on on your phone and try setting it temporarily to "Everyone" instead of "Only contacts" (both on PC and phone) and retry.

Seems like an issue unrelated to Quick Share, but to exclude it completely try these possible solutions:
- try to pair the PC with another phone
- if the driver is not Intel AXxxxx try installing the DriverCheckBypass.reg file
- the unsuccessful pairing is the one that asks when you try sending a file with QS, right? If yes, try to pair it manually in Windows bluetooth settings
- which version did you try? The latest one or the older one? If you are trying the first then try the latter and viceversa.
