Yeah, it works fine for me. I'm assuming it doesn't for you. You do have a rooted Hero don't you? Thats the prerequisite for using it. Then I just enable the file server within BlueX. Bizarrely when I transfer a file from my mac it says the transfer has failed but the it has actually works, I can find the file using ASTRO file manager.

Yeah, definitely rooted.
Get 'error asking if server enabled. Yes...BT is definitely on too!

I couldn't get it to work, kept getting an error when enabling the file server.

Bluex doesn't work on my Hero.
If i want to send a file and then select a file to send.
I need to search for a bluetooth device.
But this doesn't work by my Hero.
I get the error:
Error in local device (power disabled?)
Is there a fix for this?, otherwise i do a refund
I have rooted my phone

Anyone have any update on this at all? i've tried all the ones on the market (about a month ago) and they didn't work and I got a refund. I can't try it again as you can only get 1 refund per product in Android Market so wondered if anyone had an update..?

have the same issue is there something to do after rooting to get it working?

nope, you do have to wait for an application update

[Q] "crypto error" while updating on Kies to Froyo

Hi guys,
I get a "crypto error" when trying to update to Froyo on the latest version of Kies. While downloading the firmware on to Kies it suddenly stops and says "crypto error".
Can someone please help me with this?

I have the same problem too and no luck after trying for 2 times so far.
Can anyone helps us with this; I've been waiting this upgrade since I bought the phone several months ago

has anyone else been able to upgrade successfully after receiving a "crypto error".

hii i faced crypto error, but i did it 2nd time successfully. So try again..it works

I have the same error and i tried more then 20 times it didnt work.

The problem seems only for UAE users lol
its server problem not the phone maybe we are far away to much? lol
my proxy program is not working to test if i can do that cuz my ISB will be changed to another world lol. can someone of you guys try to use a proxy and give it a shot?
im doing my best with kies i even added some DNS to test but it didnt work
i just dont want to use odin kies is better -.-

Like what i said my VPN had problems so i used hotspot shield you can download it from download.com
start it when it load open your kies and try again it will download it i even didnt lose any app
i dont know why we cant use our ISB but i think its ****ed up

I am going to try the hotspot shield later today. Can anyone else try it and let me know if it worked for them. I read on some other forums that if you turn off your anti-virus and firewall it has worked for some people.

I tried this and it did not work. I tried turning off my Anti-Virus and Windows Firewall. Also downloaded Hotspot Shield but then the internet was not working and was unable to upgrade on Kies. Does anyone know how to use hotspot shield in the UAE and to make it work??

crypto errors - samsung server
I've tried to update about 50 times over the last week. It finally worked.
It's Samsung server probems. When you start downloading via Kies, the download breaks but it does not stop the installation programme. When it tries to decompress and decrypt the damaged files you get the CryptoError.
Finally it worked for me today. There is only one solution to this at the moment - keep updating till you drop dead or manage to do it.
Kies is a joke!

Updated finally to froyo. I think it was something wrong with the samsung server. In a day I used to try least 5 times. Phew! I think you guys must try it. Maybe they fixed it now. The update is really good. There are some UI changes but minor. Best of luck.
@imad604 Many users are not able to use hotspot in UAE. Try updating to froyo now i think it's fixed.

Update to Mango final. Error: 8007001F

Hi,
I have an Omnia 7 that used to run the official dev beta 2 on it. So, when I plugged it into Zune it prompted me to update to the new official release.
Step 1-9 (incl installing updates) went OK.
Then it restarts the phone and has 2 new steps (1-2), here however, I always get error: 8007001F.
I cant find any good explanation on Microsoft site either. I removed all IE, Maps and Search history, nothing.
Ideas??

I hava the same error with my omnia 7 and was running the dev b2 too.
I tried hard reset, downgrade to nodo, changing computer, ... the error is still here ;( No idea ?

anyone else with this that had some more luck??

Htc hd 7 big problem

my hd7 works fine but every 10-20mins of using it reboots and stucks. i must pull out battery several times and then it will start... i did try to replace software but it keep displaying error on 6% error name is: ERROR [226] FLASH WRITE
i did also try 2-3 more but same problem every time
i used this software last but same problem also with this one...

Have you tried a different radio with said rom?
Have you tried other roms? I havent tried the TouchIt rom yet. Im running DeepShining Mango anf it works just fine. What program are you using to flash the rom?

My HTC HUB wasnt working. I deleted it and tried to reinstall, but marketplace says - cant get info, check back later. And I dont have a XAP file

HTC Hub can only be downloaded over WiFi.

I got newest version of it. Now it sucks and Im going for Android or Mango ROM

[Q] FPTAG: G920AUCU1AOE2 Root help

I installed ping pong root today after checking that my
Build # was suppprted. I clicked on download data like
