Hi!
I'm trying to get the S730 to work with a Travelpilot FX carkit.
(I heard blaupunkt uses a Nokia BT module for this)
I'm using the S730 with WM6.1.
Without Jetware, I have connection, but no phonebook.
With Jetware, I do have phonebook.
With or without jetware, I don't have caller id!
Any idea how to fix that?
Would caller id work with WM 6.0?
Solved it.
No need for Jetware, just change the registry entry for
BTAGPBModule
from
"OEMAGP.dll"
to
"\Windows\BthAGPhonebook.dll"
Now everything works fine.

with the old rom when i dial a number it shows me possible names while i am dialing but after upgrading to BA_TMNL_14200_119_11300_Ship it doesnt do it any more.
i tried to install caller id but it gives me an error "file.. is in use"

What you are after is SmartDialling... look at the ftp site and you'll see it there somewhere (tools & programs I think)....
Try this.
It is smart dialing for WM2003.

but here id another problem when i dial from the keyboard only the first number i press is dialed then it only makes the sound of the other numbers but they doesnt appear

Anyone having any trouble with their Tilt where it will ring once, Display the incoming call as Unknown Caller, it rings about 1 1/2-2 times on the callers end, but you get a single vibrate then it hangs up? Is this a carrier issue? Settings? I know it could have something to do with the applications I have installed, but none of them interface with the phone, or contacts. I checked all my settings and everything is normal, I'm trying to resolve this WITHOUT having to do a hard reset. Any help would be appreciated, TIA.

mine comes up as unknown caller for a sec and then shows the caller. ur other issues not sure. mine works great. goodluck
i have the same problem, it rings iwth unknown caller and then it stops and hangs up....i think its an htc or att problem with the phone...... i hope

Since the Diamond (or Windows Mobile 6.1) can't run Skype, I went to try Fring.
Fring works, with an acceptable voice quality (Voipbuster SIP account) over 3,5G data and WLAN.
One question though to other 'Fringers': is it possible to have the SIP call audio coming from the phone horn speaker, just like when having a normal cellular call?
It now comes from the loudspeaker, so it's not possible to have a 'private' SIP call without using a headset.
With the volume at minimal, it's still remains loud enough for others to hear the other side of the line.
If this isn't possible, does someone know if there's a SIP client for Windows Mobile which can do this?

hi
i need some help as i m a complete newb to this stuff.
when i first got my diamond it would sync perfect with my carkit and import all the phonebook , dialled calls missed calls etc.
but since i changed some stuff on the diamond using advanced config the phone book no longer imports to my carkit thus i cannot tell who is calling me.
i cannot work out which changes may have affected the phonebook import can some one please help me.

Does anybody have the .CAB files for WM6.5 that enables "internet calling" - SIP calls?
I've tried Fring but I really hate the user interface so having SIP natively in WM would be great!
