i was deleting the songs from my diamond but after deleting it, the now playing screen still shows the songs but just has exclaimation marks on the album art square. this is for teh music player on the touchflo 3d. is there any way to clearing the "now playing" list?
Try delete the AlbumManager or what it's called in Application Data\HTC\Something like this.
there was a file in there called audiomanager that i tried to delete but it wouldn't let me.
go to the library using the tocuhflo music tab. go to the all songs tab. play any one song and it should update the now playing list.

Sry, wrong information, rename it to whatever you like and the phone will automatically create a new one.

thanks that worked but what if i want to delete all the songs in the diamond, then how would i clear the now playing list?

I´ve got one question. I have put several Albums into Internal Storage, but I can only flip thru the songs of the currently selected Album under "Library". I just cannot figure out how I can flip along the several albums on the TF3D Music tab.
Anyone knows how to do it?

The base music tab only shows you the songs in your "Now Playing"... You have to click on Library to access the albums tab...
Damn, what a shame. Would have looked nice flipping thru the different albums with different cover-jpg´s in it, just like in the photo-tab

you can do this, but you need to select the All Songs tab in the library, then it will sho all of the albums/artwork. I'm still having a wierd issue where it won't show some album art, while it will show others. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for what it shows.
I have found that if your embed the album art in the audio file directly (instead of relying on folder-based image tags), it will consistently display the album art...
I just downloaded Tag-And-Rename yesterday... it can automatically update all your audio files with the corresponding folder.jpg files...

ok, got it. Allthough that´s not what I was hoping to get, because it´s playing all songs of all albums mixedup ( alphabetical track name order)

That's not good. Are you sure their track numbers are tagged. If so, that's a really annoying problem that HTC should have spotted.

yes they are definetely tagged.

Syncing from Windows Media Player on the desktop definitely doesn't work.

Hmmm. Hopefully someone here will come up with a fix eventually, because virtually nobody wants to listen to their albums in alphabetical order...
When I slide to the music icon, all the sounds that are on my phone appear, and I mean all the sounds, voice for gprs, phone sounds etc.
I have downloaded music from my pc to the storage card, but they do not appear under this icon. They do appear under windows media in the programme headings. Any help?

I then goto the music tab on Touch Flo but the only two songs that are there are the two that are pre-installed!
I can listen to them all through the windows media player which doesn't bother me as I've just hidden the music tab under touch flo.
What does bother me is that in windows media player hardly any of the songs I have transferred over are in the folders they are meant to be in! 80% of my songs are listed under unkown artist and then all. So there is no way to listen to say listen to a particular album by The Beatles.
All the songs have the right name but about 500 of them must be all grouped together.
I really want a way to sort this?

I had the same issue a while ago. Try soft and then hardresetting the diamond; that fixed it for me at least, after the hard reset it reloaded all the songs.

If I hard reset tho won't I lose the other applications and settings I have changed?
please help me.
i deletet the default mp3s out of the internal storage.
i used my explorer to do so.
now i cant use other music with the htc music player.
i copied my new music to my diamond with the windows media player and the wmp on the diamond works still fine. but not the htc player. the deletet files are still in the htc player and i cant delete them.
can someone post a cab to reinstall the player or a sulution to workaround?

Do you mean the TF3D player?
what folder did you copy your music to?
In any event, you should be able to click on "Library" on the lower left, then go to "All Songs" and click on one of the songs - this should then load all your songs onto the TF3D player
..... alternatively, save your songs in different playlists and the go to "Playlists" instead of "All Songs" and selct one song and your playlist will be loaded.

i have copied the songs in /internal storage/music/the Offspring/Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace/
when i go to library:
there are the 2 sample songs. but cant delete or play them because i deletet them out of the internal storage.
cant create a new playlist in the tf3d player. everytime i do this the player says the the song was added to the new playlist. but there is no song to add.
maybe a silly question - but did you soft reset?

got something that's driving me crazy, i can sync my music with windows media player fine and the music copies across as it should however when i come to play the music with touchflo 3d it only shows the first lot of music i put on.
I cannot seem to figure out how to refresh the libray on touchflo 3d...
does anyone have the answer for me?

If you tap 'Library', then slide accross to Albums... do your recently synced items show up there?
I am having this problem too
I cannot see any of my music in TF3D music player
no nothing is showing up i resynced all my music with media player and still nothing shows, it nows says no music found.
there must be a better way to sort the library.
there shouldnt be this hassle just to put music on the phone!
I think you require too much for a phone so cheap.

you get paid too much.
on the plus side to the normally challenged people out there , you have to update the library in windows media player, then go into library on touchflo 3D, select all songs and play the first track it then updates all the tracks for you.

this will rescann your complete library.

I still cannot get it to work - all my music syncs of from media player and I can play it on media player on the diamond but on TF3D it just hangs on Searching!!!
If i delete all my media and load 1 song it works fine if I do the above deleting of the HTC application folder but if I then try to add some more it does not work!!
Has anyone got this working? or is it just me?????

I have moved to S2P but its a shame i wanted to use the built in stuff
I had the same problems too. Until I read and followed the instructions for adding songs and album art and updating the library on TF3D.
Now for the enchilada!! Does anyone know how you can update windows media's library (once you have added more songs to the Diamond from PC) and set it to search in a particular folder instead of adding all the media files on the phone(tomtom files, alert & warning sounds and the like) to your music library. Only solution thus far more is to delete these files every time i update, which is now getting a bit tiring .

Hi all. I'm in need of a music player for my N6 that stops after playing when the song I choose is over. Play Music automatically goes to the next song on the album and I can't have that at work. I can't find a setting to change it. Is it buried somewhere?
I'd prefer free but I'd pay a couple bucks for something that does what I need it to.
Anyone know of a player that will stop at the end of the chosen song?
Use a file manager to find the song you wish to play, I prefer es file
explorer. Tap to select and choose a player, either es built in or google play
This will only play that track.
Playerpro has this feature.
Clear your queue, tap 3 dots to right of song you want, select add to queue, profit!

I use Astro as my file manager and it will play most .mp3's natively. It's kind of a pain though, as I music scattered around.

It's a setting you need to enable, I haven't used it for a while but it used to mention something about being handy for musicians and teachers.
Have a dig through the settings menu and you should find it.
