Missing file downloaded from PIE - Kaisertweak issue?

Hi guys - I have a strange problem where files I have downloaded from PIE seems to be on the device (or SD card) but I cannot find them with File Explorer / Resco File explorer.
I have used Kaisertweak to set my download location as storage card\My documents\images (for images obviously - videos for video files etc).
When I download an image the picture is opened by straight after, so I know it is there - however in the property box it is listed as being in My Documents\\storage card\My documents\images. However I cannot find this directory, even by using the find file dialogue!
Has anybody else experienced this / found a solution?
I am especially concerned about there being a hidden directory in the device taking up valuable storage space - I believe I downloaded a 20MB video file at one point!
Cheers!
I think I ran into the same thing, and it was just a user misunderstanding of poor terminology. When the popup comes up saying "Would you like to save ... file to the Device" there are options for "Yes" and "Save As". If you choose yes, it doesn't seem to actually save it to the device (as you would expect, since it just asked if you want to save it) but I think that is intended to only temporarily save things like .cab files that are supposed to run and install something, kind of like the RUN option when opening a file on a regular PC. If you want to save it, I think the only way is to hit the "Save As" option and you can then choose the location.
EDIT: I didn't read your whole post before answering...as far as the Kaisertweak options for photos, video, etc., the same thing applies. Basically, the storage location defined in KaiserTweak doesn't seem to make any difference, as you still have to use the "Save As" option to get it to actually save.
Thanks snooginsguy - hopefully that means I don't have any large hidden video files clogging up my device memory!
I am surprised nobody has mentioned that the storage location defined in KaiserTweak doesn't seem to make any difference on the (long!) Kaisertweaks thread though - I would have assumed the default location is where files get saved if you don't specify a location (as they would on XP).

Gps POI Images?

Does anyone have the camera working with the gps? I would like to use this feature while hiking. I believe i have the gps working but i dont find any info stored in the Images? Thanks
Im running Alexes 6.1 rom and the latest 6.1 radio 1.64.06.04
Use this
Using any registry editor, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\ and in the folder P9 change "enabled" from 0 to 1. Now new option GPS Photo will appear in the menu.
When you take a GPS Photo it will store under a folder called POI, in pictures (pictures location depends on what you set it.) Use the attached to open a photo from the POI folder. You will see the GPS coordinates set as extended attributes.
MODs: I found the attached as a freeware when searching google. If it is not please remove, and let me know.
JKO
You can also use KaiserTweak to activate this.

Camera Save location

Hi Guys & Girls...
Is there a way to change to Camera savings location?
I've done some searching and found:
Use Schaps advanced config and you will find a section LOCATIONS.
Change default camera file to internalstorage/whateverfile.
But that is just the default image location!
Right above the section LOCATIONS there is a
section CAMERA! But here you can only choose between:
"DCIM" and "My Pictures" - And I what the camera to save in a 3rd location!
Is there any .reg path for that? Or just another solution?
Thanks
good question... i've the same problem!
Camera save location.
Same here. The camera does not save into the default photo folder.

How to move files received via BT

Hello, I have got a question. When I receive photos via BT I can, without any problems find them in file explorer. But how can I move them in such a way, to be able to see them in photo gallery in Touchflow?
Regards, fck.
move to Internal Storage/My Documents/My Pictures
Obvious really isn't it?!?!
Obvious as hell. The point is, in my case it's not working.
Regards, fck.
May I ask which ROM do you use? as this can be ROM dependent
May I suggest a couple of programs that may help
1) HTC4_Inbox A program that saves BT transferred files to storage card Start -> Settings -> Connections -> OBEX Inbox to choose where u want to recieve files.
2) Advance Config 3.3 a useful tool that allows you to specify the mapping of folders like;
My Documents
My Videos
Etc
I am using the Aztor x2 Ultimate. I am familiar to Advanced config application, I am using it for battery saving features. The problem is, why no photos are beeing displayed in the photo album although they are in correct location.
Hi,
All i'm doing is copying images to my \\internal storage\my documents\my pictures and they always appear right away in Tf3d.
What is the path you have for your images?

[HELP] Changing Tabs in TF3D V2

Hello,
what I would like to do is: change the order of the tabs around and make a different one the default/home tab.
I tried Advanced Configuration Tool -> Won't work (Error: Can't load configuration for TF3D)
I tried TF3D Config -> Won't work
I tried to find it in the Registry as suggested, but couldn't find it in the place said: HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila/Configuration
Now I don't know any further, do you have any ideas? Where does it put the tab config in the reg in TF3D Version 2?
The place where it is stored might have changed somehow, because HTC gives you the possibility within the settings to change the tabs, but their tool ignores newly installed tabs and doesn't let me set another tab as default/home.
Thanks,
Dennis
Under the SETTINGS tab, you can find what you're looking for. As for adding a non-manila tab? I have not heard about that.
Thanks lude,
I know about the settings part, but that doesn't help if you want todo things that usually only Advanced Configuration Tool can do, like replacing default home screen, having custom tabs and so on. Maybe anyone knows where the reg entries are now on v2?
Dennis
