Hello everybody!!!
I'm from Cambodia.I use HD TOUCH HD with Original ROM WM6.1.I want to upgrade to WM6.5.I downloaded Energy ROM6.5,Dutty ROM 6.5,and Miri ROM 6.5 I really like these Roms and I want to use it in my phone, but when I upgrade and use it it has the same problems :
1.Run not smooth(if I try to touch or open more programs my phone will restart).
2.The simcard in my phone not detect(It doesn't has my country in the list).
What should I do with these problems?
It sounds like you have not followed the steps in the guide (see link in my signature). You need to first upgrade your SPL from the stock version to either USPL 1.54 or HSPL 1.56. Read the guide and follow the steps.
Follow flashing guide in either ClydeB1's signature or my signature and post further queries there regarding USPL, HSPL or flashing.

Hi
I just got a dopod c800 AKA p4350.
Its got WM 5 on it. I wanted to upgrade the same to WM6.
Have read the threads but couldnt figure the english rom version and also need some help on upgrading.
can someone point me to the right rom and the instructions.
thanks
Whatever you do, if your SPL is currently 1.XX do NOT hardSPL or use USPL. Use the official RUU to attemp to flash your device. IF it changes your SPL and IPL to 4.xx then you can use HARDSPL and USPL.
Other than that, you can download the official WM6 from the thread that's stickied that talks about all the ROMs.
Hello,
I DID read Wiki and Tutorial about flashing 1.56 ROMs. But I STILL have questions.
What I have:
1. I have original and SIM-unlocked HTC HD with SPL 1.14
2. Never flashed anything on it
3. Never did HardSPL, USPL, etc
What I want:
4. Flash Dutty V3 XT Shipped Final ROM (based on 1.56)
5. Update Radio ROMs if needed
Since now we have HardSPL support for 1.56 roms (or we dont ? ) ...
6. Do I need to follow Dutty's instruction (with USPL, etc) ?
or
7. Can I just run HardSPL over my original 1.54 HD and then simply flash Dutty's V3 (1.56-based) ROM
or
8. I have to flash HTC's official 1.56 ROM and then run HardSPL and then Dutty's ROM ?
or
9. Something else ?
Thanks for response.
just run hardspl but make sure its the new 156 olinex
then ur ready to flash duttys v3
It worked for me that way. Thx
So ... no need to flash official HTC's 1.56 update ? Great ! Thanks
HI
When i try to flash HD with RUU_BlackStone_HTC_ITA_1.56.408.0_Radio_52.62.25.3 4_1.13.25.24_Ship i receive the message
"Error [294] ID vendor not valid"
My HD is branded TIM
Some suggestion to upgrade it?
Thank you
Hi!
Have you previously HardSPL'ed your HD? Otherways you won't ever be able to flash any ROM.
Or you can use USPL.
For more instructions just follow the WiKi of HD.
Buon flash!
The reason is that tim phones have 1.13 spl, you have to install 1.13 olipro hspl first, then install the 1.14 and so on. or do as stated in previous post. Follow steps on wiki, is explained quite well.
Buon flash
Olaf
I've seen in wiki that now has been removed the link and explanation to upgrade from 1.13. So I suggest you to use USPL and install a 1.56 wwe original rom first. this changes your spl to an international one and then install the hspl.
Ciao Olaf
I've had the same probl. (TIM brand). I've used USPL then the new ROM official downloaded from forum. All right......
I have a Touch HD ROM Version '1.14.405.3 (22273) WWE' ROM Date 12/09/08. Can this be safely upgraded?

As long as you follow the correct procedure while using either USPL or HSPL you will be fine. Only difference between USPL & HSPL is that USPL is temporary and you are required to re-use it before evry flash to new rom or radio and HSPL is permanent so once its on you can continually flash new roms & radios without having to reuse it.
cRaCKwHoRe provided a nice and easy Dummys guide which can be found in my signature. Alternatively there is more information in the wiki
sweet thanks for the information. all these flashing stuff is so confusing. i will try to use HSPL.
Question: im reading the guide right now. I got 1.14.0000, so do i go straight to step 5? or do go to step 1? also do i need to download all these files?

Seeing as your following guide your query should really be in the guide thread and this one could be closed my MOD.
Your answer - If you have 1.14.0000 go to step (5) as guide states. Only download what is necessary.
If you plan to be a constant flasher I would ignore most of the guide as it states at start of it and just flash HSPL 1.56 before flashing new rom.
USPL is temporary and you would need to re-use it before every flash to new rom or radio. HSPL is permanent so use it once and never again!!
I want to install HSPL to be able to install custom ROM dynamics v2.0. But, it says you should not continue if you have SPL version 4.xxx or 5.xxx. I should have1.xx, 2.xx, or 3.xx to install the HSPL.
I came to know another solution to the problem by downgrading the SPL using NoDo.
What should I do? Can i install HSPL after downgrading my HSPL version using NoDo? Will that brick my phone?
My plan is to use NoDo to first downgrade my SPL from 5.xx to anything that is supportedby the HSPL, then I'll install HSPL by DFT, and then finally install a custom ROM called Dynamics v2.0.
Should I go through the whole process for installing a custom ROM on my phone?
Do let me know if you want to know something about the phone like the OS version, exact SPL version, etc
Have you searched for it?
You must use Y-Cable and the goldcard method... It is written in several threads, I recommend you "noobs guide no android", search for it I won't give you any lazy link...
