missed upgrade

I just upgraded my QTEK 9100 with the latest RIsidoro rom and have now a 2.26 OS but...always an ipl 1.03 and a spl 1.03.0000.
The device hangs and I can't have any activsync runnuing to reflash to an other version. How can I recuperate my PPC?

When having problems with Rom Upgrades you really need to provide as much information as possible about your situation.
Please state the following:
What Rom did you have prior to upgrading, include IPL/SPL numbers.
Do you know if your device is G3 or G4 flash chip?
Is your device CID Unlocked?
Have your read (thoroughly) the instructions provided for the Rom you attempted to upgrade?
My initial guess would be that the Rom you flashed doesn't include IPL/SPL (as Risidoro clearly states in the Original Post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=276700)
In this case, you need to flash one of the Operator provided AKU 2.x Roms to get your IPL/SPL up to 2.x BEFORE you flash Risidoro's Rom to your device.

Before flashing I had following situation
IPL 1.03
SPL 1.03.0000
GSM 1.410.0
OS 1.37.10
I didn't saw the thread wher it said that the isodoro flash wasn't a complete one. So I upgraded the device with this rom on the above config
After flashing with Isodoro I have same IPL and SPL no GSM anymore and OS 2.26...
I have no USB connection anymore, I supose I can not flash anymore. The device is extremely slow. The only rescue I see is eventualy to flash the device again with the mini SD.
Before I started the first flash I did a CID unlock. Actualy i don't now if it is locked again.

I'm going to give you some general info but you will have to do your own leg work to put this together.

I am assuming that your device is not properly CID Unlocked (although it may be doing it again will not harm your device).
First you will need to download an Operator Rom, I would suggest this one:
ftp://xda:[email protected]_Prodigy_1060701_101_11310_QTEK_WWE_Ship.exe
as it is an official Qtek AKU 1.x Rom.
Second place your Device into Bootloader Mode (search on it) and run the update that you downloaded.
At this point you are pretty close to where you were when you started.
Now, CID Unlock your Phone! Use this thread:

If you have followed the instructions and everything went okay then you can now flash any of the Roms you (except one that are marked as G4 only since you appear to have a G3 Device).

Looks like you flashed a 2.xx rom with no bootloader into a 1.xx system.
First try a full 2.xx rom from a carrier (cingular 2.25 comes to mind) then reflash the rom you want. Be careful playing with the phone in the current state as the battery will drain and not re-charge. I had to have a friend charge my battery for me when I did this same thing.

Just check your device if it is G3 or G4, then either Unlock or HardSPL/SoftSPL your device and flash one of the Wizard English WM5/WM6 ROMs available.

plz I'm new andi dont know how to know my device is G3 or G4 and i download official `ROM 2.16 WWE but when i begin update hi wrote that
"INVALID VENDOR ID"
plz help!!!

You DID NOT CID unlock your device.

If you have downloaded official Rom from it's website and still can't upgrade then use the 'ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID' replace it with the ruu in the official rom,you can get this from the below link.:-

i,ll try to update but language is still russian an ROM is still same.
I download thes file: RUU_NoID.exe, then i download an oficial ROM, then i replace the original ROM's RUU with RUU_NoID. operation begin, but after and of this nothing change.
ha can i change language for English? can anyone help me an give me a links of this files vich i can use???
my IPL/SPL is 2.16 and i think it is G3???
plz today i must do this i need help!!!

Well,I'll suggest you go for the second option,unlock your phone and upgrade to any latest wm6 custom build Roms.Once you get your phone unlocked,it stays unlocked and gives you the opportunity to keep on upgrading to the latest Roms and features.Read the stickies on unlocking and upgrading and do it correctly,I'm sure you'll have much more benefits and enjoyment.

ok,grrrrrr8,if you have managed to downgrade to ipl/spl 1.xx,its time to SIM/CID unlock the phone,read the 'definitive guide for unlocking by Dr.Puttingham and download the lokiwiz-2b tool and do the method exactly as stated in the guide to Sim/CID unlock your phone,after successful unlock upgrade to ipl/spl 2.xx by downloading and flashing T-mobile 2.26 to the phone,only then you can upgrade to any latest wm6 rom,as its required to have CID unlocked phone and ipl/spl 2.xx for upgrade to wm6.

Sorry for Offtopic but, i cant install official wm5 rom cause.
The ruu with wm5 doesnt work> connection error
The .nkb doesnt work with ruu mun> file read error
What to do???

Are you sure it is .nkb? Wizard doesn't use that kind of ROM...

What?? Of course he uses. I extracted the RUU and rom file from .exe instaler.
What could i do? I tried also flash it with softspl and i didnt work.

Well,which rom you are trying to flash and which rom is at present running on the phone,plz be specific ?This problem usually occurs when trying to flash a rom in a language different then already present on the phone.Are you running a Russian or some other language OS on the phone and trying to flash with a rom in some other language ?

I have T mobile mda vario g4 and i want to install official wizard wm5 rom in german language. And i cant.
No i am running wm6.1 with english language. I had never, after the hardspl, problem with flashing g4 roms. Everithing worked perfect with muunˇs RUU.
I have english rom( all instaled roms were anglish) and i want to downgrade to official wm5 german rom. And tzhen upgrade to another wm6 or wm6.1 rom.
Why i cant??
Sorry. U are right. The rom file is. nbf , and yeah the official rom is like that.
If i try to flash it with ruu in official pack - i cant cause wrong update tool ( no connection)
And if i want to flash this official rom with munn ruu - file read error( something wrong with .nbf file)

Right,well,as you have done 'HardSPL' your phone and its IPL/SPL is patched to IPl 2.21.0001 and SPL 2.21.olip,right ?
ok,now as you have patched to ipl 2.21.0001 & spl 2.21 olip through 'HardSPL',its not possible to revert back to official rom,untill you remove the 'HardSPL' from your phone and flash the original/official IPL/SPL of your phones carrier Rom bootloaders.After only removing HardSPL and getting the official ipl/spl,it'll will be possible to flash the official wm5 rom,ok
Now,how to remove 'HardSPL', read and follow the method as instructed in the 'Sticky' in the G4 forum by dharvey "How To: Remove HardSPL"
Well,then again,if you want to upgrade to another wm6 rom,you'll have to either again use 'HardSPL' or 'SoftSPL',but,if at all,you want to flash with another wm6 rom,then why first downgrade to wm5,why not straight away flash the rom while with HardSPL still on the phone ?

I have very strange problem with wm6.1 rom that i would like to use, until the new paradox rom will come out. i will try it for sure.
U can read about problem in wm6 subforum in windows Mobile 6.1 slim editon thread.
So do i have any option unless to remove hardspl?

well,if you got a problem with the wm 6.1 slim,then just flash another wm6.1 latest rom e.g by 'it's right' 'TNT 19199 series Professional Rom' as I have personally used it and found it to be an excellent rom,without removing HardSPL and reverting back to official wm5 rom.Just give it a try,I'm pretty sure you'll like it and may sove all your problem,as it'll replace all the rom files of the previous wm6.1 slim rom.

To remove the hardspl u need 2 minutes. I removed it and tried to instalruu_vario_aku3.3_3822_382120_026911_tmo_de_ger_ship
Again once again i get the message from ruu = error file read.
Could somebody open that rom and look for problems.

Right now i want to flash another official rom( from remove hardspl thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=342744) and it say again file read.
What could that mean??

I just succesfully instaled ruu_vario_aku3.3_3822_ rom with ruu in the rom` folder. I tried also the T-Mobile MDA Official WM5 Rom (old) with his ruu and it didnt worked. Also softspl didnt work on both roms.

now i flashed wm5 rom aku 3.3 and the ipl/spl changed to 3.08 . Before was 2.26 which i got with instaling ipl/spl pack.
Is that bad for g4 with ipl/spl 3.08 , is it safe to install wm6.1 roms?????

Downgrade or change ROM, how?

I have dopod 838 which i already upgraded to WM6 (for the first time, since I use PDA ) I'm following the upgrade tutorial from the wiki and I use the WM 6.0 ROM made by mfrazzz.
my question is how to downgrade to WM5 (original from dopod asia)? I already download the ROM but I'm not sure whether i need to downgrade to IPL/SPL 1.xx like when I'm upgrading it to WM6?
I see another new ROM is released, and i want to switch to that ROM, must I re do all the steps I done when upgrading from WM5 to WM6?
note the IPL/SPL is 3.xx on my dopod 838.

Never go from 3.xx to 1.xx as the SPL might get locked. Stop at 2.xx before downgrading further.
WM5 can work with 1.xx and 2.xx but WM6 only with 2.xx and 3.xx

Sometimes,if you directly downgrade from 3.08 to 1.xx,SPL gets locked and it's very difficult to bring it to 1.xx,so its advised,if your phone is already CID unlocked and upgraded to 3.08,don't downgrade to 1.xx again,but if you want to reflash a new rom and want a solid base like T-mobile,then just downgrade to 2.xx,avoid going down to 1.xx.

Trying to upgrade G4 to 6.1

I just unlocked my T-mobile MDA phone to start flashing. Plenty of tutorials on how to unlock the phone to flash but none on actually installing the OS.
Was trying to download TNT.

I'm finding .cab files and nk.nbf, but not a clue as to how to flash it onto my phone.
Is it even safe to go from 5.0 to 6.1? I got IPL 2.21 and SPL 2.21 on my phone without any problems. Any info on where to start to get 6.1 loaded on my phone would be appreciated.

Ok, as you say its a G4,it cannot be CID unlocked,but you can upgrade it through 'SoftSPL' or 'HardSPL'.read about them in the G4 sub-forum posted as stickies .
BTW,whats the exact IPL/SPL,you posted 2.21 only,or is it 2.21.0001 ?
