Is there any app for world clock with weather tab ? - Touch Pro, Fuze Themes and Apps

It's just a simple and stupid question. Maybe many people like me to travel around the world with your TP, and you might have installed world clock app already, I did so, but be frank I did appreciate no one world clock app available so far.
And I thought since there is built-in weather tab in my TP, then why there is no app which can combine clock with weather tab, then you don't have to switch between different app and check the weather and time zoom of your destination.
Is there any one can share idea ?

best location based weather app!

The app in question is called "snowstorm" I found this in the market so make no claim to it !
Snowstorm will locate your position right down to small villages so is the perfect app for people annoyed with HTC's weather app.
So other than perfect location what else is there ? Skins ,plenty to choose from ! Choice of widgets , direct link to the main app (seven day forcast) when you click on the widget , easy to configure and lots of options, you can even choose the colour of the text on your widget so its visible whatever wallpaper your using.
One thing I like but others may find annoying is that the widget doesn't show the current weather, as standard it shows the weather in six hour segments, so what you see (depending on the widget ) is the weather in the next six hour segment say 12pm to 6am, you don't see what you can see by looking outside ! IMHO much more handy.
Oh the best thing about it ?
It's free !!!!
There's an app called 'Weather from Yr' which uses the same weather source (yr.no) and is a bit better IMO.
cheers! will have a look

First Market Purchase - Beaut. Widgets-> Problem already

After the putchase, it was installed, and when I go to select widgets, not all of the widgets are there. No clock, no weather, not sure how many I am supposed to have.
I decided maybe I need to uninstall/reinstall. Went to market, there was no 'reinstall' option. So I went into Settings/Applications/Manage Apps. and uninstalled. Got message I had a refund.
I presume I got the correct app, as it showed the right company in the Google Checkout.
What should be the right process to get this installed, especially if something is wrong.
One thing I find quite interesting with apps for Android: looks like no way to contact many of the sellers. For this for example I went to their web site, didn't see any support or method to contact them.
This app had downloadble widgets which means not all of them come installed with it.
Further research shows that many users have trouble with this app ranging from issues like yours to battery problems.
The website for the app says that you can contact them through email from the android market. if this is not the case, I would abandon this app on that basis alone lol.
poppycock app works fine on my n1 and my galaxy s.. once installed all widgets are there you only have to download skins for weather and clock.
try downloading with wifi on.. it is much faster.

Thanks for the input, but they are not there 'once installed', if then you have to 'download skins for weather and clock'. Seems to me a clock should be a widget, not a skin. On the site, which has all of 1 page talking of features, they mention things about skins, and downloading skin kits. That implies development to me.
I went to the Market online, but that, interestingly enough, you can't even search on. On thes web site, interestingly enough, NO method to contact them there. But thanks to your tip, I do see an email address on the Market from the phone.
This is quite an interesting learning experience.
The web site that is on the Market is not reachable. Maybe trouble tonight.
I'll try the email route and see if I can learn a bit more about what I need to get this stuff working.
there are 100s of custom clock skins they cannot possibly put them all with the app it would be huge.. you add the beautifull home widget under under skins download and select the clock you want..
The widget name you want is called Beautiful Home, and when you pick that one it opens up a settings box. Down at the bottom it "save and apply." You gotta hit that button to actually put the widget on the screen. If you hit skins instead you can choose what you want, but you have to apply each time as you back out of the settings interface to make the widget "stick". Small learning curve. Once the widget is up, you can hit the weather to see the big weather popup, and hitting the menu button there brings up settings and skin buttons.
This is my favorite widget, the most reliable. I have submitted skins that were accepted, so I know they are responsive. If you still need help let me know.
Thank you so much for the details. You'd think an app that is at a cost, however small, would have at least a base level of documentation on their web page.
Question: Is Beautiful Home a different set than Beautiful Widgets, or is it just required in order to use Beautiful Widgets?

Beautiful Home is the name of the clock/weather widget that comes with Beautiful Widgets.
Thanks. I got it going.
I was thinking that a 'Home' Widget was a replacement for the home screen or something like that. Its beginning to look like a home widget must be a widget that can be placed on any screen, and is 'home' to other things you will be adding, as opposed to replacing some other home widget. Is that the case in general?
How's that for a tongue twister?
I would like to know if you all recommend this app for the Captivate?
Beautiful Widgets + Launcher Pro = Fantastic UI experience
I've been using weather and toggle widget and like it more than beautiful widget but both are nice.

Which Weather Widget and Toggle Widges are you using?
I have Beautiful Widgets along wiht Beautiful Weather LIve Wallpaper, and really like it. But I'm always interested in seeing what's out there.

Simple clock widget?

I can't seem to find three default android clock widget and the market us flooded with crap. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Unfortunately Samsung didn't include any stock Android clock widgets. They did include the Nexus One live wallpaper though, so go figure. I recommend throwing down for Beautiful Widgets, it's like $1.90 and can do amazing things.
"Weather and toggle widget" $1.99.
I've always liked the "Sense" flip clock and this is satisfies my taste.
I use one that's just called Digital Clock Widget by Maize. Just a really simple digital time with the day under it. Can be a 1x2 or a 1x4 widget. Not TOO much customization, but it definitely does the job well.
What's wrong with the Samsung Clock Widget that comes with the phone?
I am using Retro Clock.

I really like this app too, plus it has many downloadable skins you can get for the clock and weather.
Fancy Widget is nice and free (but i can't post a link since i'm a newbie)
lol, no one knows how to get the default clock widget. I'm surprised. To me that was one of the trademarks of android. That big clock widget on the G1
And has anyone figured out how to remove the clock from the status bar on the top? I did a search, but nothing turned up. . .

predator clock widget 1x4 setting is awesome .u can change colors to match ur wallpapers very cool ul love it and its free in the market
It is is not a simple clock widget, but Fancy Widget Pro is da bomb!
I use "animated analog clock" by DNS project. It has seconds hand! 99% of clocks have no seconds! Is it really that hard to makes clock shows seconds??
I like Simi Clock Widget. Clean appearance, can launch multiple apps by tapping, and its free.
Fancy Widget Pro is the best out there for clock and weather. Has so many skins and new ones every day!

I've been looking for a Android digital clock with "seconds" since I left WM Not sure why we don't have any....

Looking for Clock App

Currently running CM 7.1. I preferred the TW clock app. I really liked having multiple time zones, stopwatch, and countdown timer all in one app. Is there any way to run the TW clock in CM? If not does anyone know of an app that performs all those functions.
It's a little frustrating-for years, no decades now, I've had digital watches that can perform all those functions. Now I can't find an app in the market that can perform all those functions. Sure there are plenty of standalone timers and clocks, but it seems like a natural to have those functions combined.
Thanks.
I used to love the TW clock, too, but i switched to alarm clock extreme for the volume crescendo. Just pulled the stock tones from ED05. Now I'm happy again

Thanks for the alarm clock extreme tip. I downloaded the app and it does have a countdown timer, but it lacks time zones and stopwatch functions.
I could live without the stopwatch, but since I travel and communicate frequently with people in various time zones that is pretty important. I'm loath to load another app just to get time zones.
It's been awhile since I've written any computer programs, but maybe I'll have to learn how to write code for my phone so I can get the clock app with the functions that I want.
Digital and analog clock. Free on the market. Set up as many clocks in as many timezones as you want.

Weather widget for NST

It looks like the weather part of the old GenieWidget (News and Weather) gave up the ghost this past week
I guess the API finally changed for weather.com or the Weather Channel or where ever it came from. Anyway....I was using the weather widget for my homescreen. As clunky as it was, it also seemed sort of "right" for the NST. It didn't have a lot of microscopic information that you could not read and was just about the right size.
I'm currently trying out the unofficial NOAA app from the PlayStore but I'm not liking the widget too much. I've seen WeatherBug mentioned in the forum but the current version does not allow for manual location entry and the search function, like that of the old Market app, does not work (in fact the interface looks exactly like that for Market...).
So....does anyone have a weather widget they like?

Try Gismeteo Lite!
I haven't tried its widget on my Nook since I removed desktop-like launcher. However it states Android 2.0+, so it should work.
If you don't like it, there is a handful of weather widget apps sorted on 4pda forum.

Thanks for the tip! I've been trying out Aix but the little hourly graph is pretty silly as a weather widget. I like the looks of the Gismeteo widget except for the "+" sign in front of the temperature. I'm sure that's meaningful somewhere but it's not here and looks a little silly. Still, I'll see if I get used to it. Meanwhile I'll have a look at the list.
And the winner is.......
Weather Ace!!!! Amazingly complete little app, lots of customization options (fonts, "colors", backgrounds, transparency, etc.), a variety of different size/complexity widgets, different icon sets, different weather data providers (even a place to enter a WUnderground API key!). Very nice
The current market version is for Android 2.3 and up. I found the attached older version quite by accident while searching for weather widgets for Android 2.1.
Enjoy!

100% agree. I have a Nook setup solely as a weather station, using Weather Ace widgets to give me a handful of different temperatures and forecasts. It's pretty accurate, and with the right set of icons looks really nice on the Nook greyscale screen.
