Does anyone have the APK for HomeSimple v1.3? - G1 Apps and Games

HomeSimple was my favorite home screen replacement, but the developer (ymst) stopped development and took it off of the market. I found v1.0 APK file but I wanted to find a copy of v1.3 somewhere.
Does anyone have the APK file for HomeSimple v1.3 saved (Package name : ymst.android.homesimple)? If you could post/send me a copy, I would be very thankful!

well, if you are currently using the free version of Metamorph, which still uses the .th method, this is what you put into the theme file after you've made your graphical changes to SettingsDualSim.apk (don't really know much about this apk. lol)
[rom name it runs on]
[android version]
SettingsDualSim.apk
/system/app/ [assuming it's a system/app/ file. This should be specified to wherever this SettingsDualSim.apk file is located]
can i modify the wigdet which are already made?like

[Q] Dialer One Themes

I think this is the most general place for a question like this but:
Can anyone theme the Dialer One app? If not suggest a replacement?
I've used Dialer One on my Android ported Windows HTC Diamond 2 and now on my Nexus One. I LOVE some of the themes for the stock android dialer but it lacking Dial-By-Name is a buzzkill.
Dialer One works AWESOME and I love it, but it just doesn't look right in Android (aka. not very elegant).
Short of spamming the developer, can it be done via the community like all of the other apps out there that get customized?

i would also like to have this ...
meanwhile i try it ...
it is possibl to extract the apk (via zip tools).
copy the apk file to your system, rename it to zip.
then extract the zip to a place on local system, then change the png files as you like, then save it ...
after you have done the changes, then you must open the zip directly via ex: 7zip, then drag (overwrite) the changed png files in the original folders..
then close the zip(apk) and rename it back to .apk
after that you must copy the apk file to /system/app (rooted and remounted as RW is needed).
then restart phone and it is done...
----------------
but i think, the devel should think about to make it more flexible to adjust an easier way for it .. because if there is an update, then you have todo the same again ...
(PLS: the theme itself is not bad on black, but it is not black, it is gray and it could be 50% darker, then i would be happy ..)
some tweaks
i have done a some modifications in black theme for mdpi devices for dialer one because i love this dialer olso made it system apk to enable it to clear missed call notifications. i changed only the black theme
if you like it download atched
if it-s not working copy only the res folder after extracting the apk end replace it to the folder of your working dialer one apk

Flashable Theme Zip Base/Template

Hey guys...I don't know about all of you but I'm eager to start porting MattedBlues to and themeing my Nexus S!
I tried putting together a flashable theme zip but failed. Apparently I didn't have the update scripts setup correctly, but I'm not sure what I was doing wrong. I'm not good with the script stuff so I'm wondering if someone has or can make a flashable theme zip for me? Or if someone could point me in the right direction for properly doing the update scripts then I'm happy to figure it out. Once I have the base with METAINF (and proper udpate scripts), then I can get going on themeing this incredible device.
Thanks guys.
EDIT: SOLVED (I had to delete the 3 cert files in METAINF). Here's a sample zip (Zune Font Pack) that you guys can use a base: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11901383/ZuneFontPack1223.zip
To use this as a base for your theme, you'll want to add a "framework" folder and an "app" folder to the "system" folder and then place the themed/modified apks in their respective locations. Happy themeing!

Porting hTC Love app

Everyone might be knowing about this app hTC Love.
If you don't here's the link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3vxEgBv60A
It isn't in the hTC hub.
Thought this would be a cool app to have on my phone. And found the app in the following thread: post #18
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1099538&page=2
I downloaded this app but it won't run on incredible s. Or more specifically on any ROM except the Virtuos Unity sense 3.0 ROM(the sensation ROM port).
I posted this in the other threads but no one replied, that's why starting a new post.
I basically want to get that app working on our phones. So far i have made following progress :
1)Extracted the .apk
2)Separated the .dat & .Png files
The things that are remaining
3)Editing .xml files
4)Editing .png files
5)compiling the .apk
6)signing the .apk
Anyone have any idea about this or willing to help?? please let me know
Here's listing all the tools you will need :
'
Mode10 tools for decoding the .m10 files : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1060660
.M10 editor script: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1141636
apk manager: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695701
And zip signer from android market is pretty useful for signing the app.
Anyone willing to help please reply..in the meantime I am trying to do all I can.

Zeam launcher without home icon in app drawer

This is Zeam launcher 3.1.10 with the home icon shown in the app drawer being removed. As I hate duplicates, and always map in zeam's settings the home button of my ob as the app drawer one, I just removed it by dropping an empty file. Supporting lcd density changes (modded hdpi & mdpi).
So here you get 2.8.8 (last version suporting scrollable widgets) and 3.1.10 (current as I'm typing) in apk and flashable zip, but no removing already installed one. No more installation fail as I tried...
Of course all credits to Mickael Bentz, zeam's dev (thank you guy). If he comes here, may he please forgive me for not asking permission as this mod is just nothin... PM and I'll remove.
I just wanted to post something back after downloading so much great stuff...
Thank you all. Xda's ob guys rock!
PS: If one braver than me can edit xmls to store the home button config as default in the apk... it'd be cool...
PSbis: Original thread
I am unable to install attached apk
Easiest way to custom it your own on later releases: with winrar, drop an empty file called home_button_normal.png into /res/drawable-hdpi of your freshly downloaded zeam... you'll get no home button in app drawer.
You can also replace icons by yours to unify your icon theme. For the OB, just check /res/drawable /res/drawable-hdpi /res/drawable-land-hdpi. Last one is landscape.
Do it for /res/drawable-mdpi and /res/drawable-land-mdpi if use a changed lcd density.
Others folders are filled with xmls if you're a tought guy...
@_jis_: should work now...
Glad if I helped. Enjoy.
I am still unable to install attached apks. Aren't the apks selfsigned only for your phone? Am I only one who try it install?

I don't understand, if I modify *.apk it'll not work anymore. It must be resigned. But I don't know how to do it.
Try use zipsigner2, available on market to resign the apk.
I have problem with signing modified apk, so I just did this test:
I downloaded original zeamlauncher-3.1.10.apk. I didn't modify this file. I was able to install this file.
Then I launched ZipSigner 2, I set input/output files and signed the file.
I am unable to install signed file, I get message Application not installed.
What I did wrong?
I have Samsung Galaxy W with stock ROM 2.3.6 version.
Edit: Finally I got it.
Despite the fact that I can reinstall original Zeam with original Zeam apk without problem, it is impossible to do reinstall with edited and re-signed Zeam apk. First I must uninstall Zeam and then I can install re-signed apk.
I'll update zips with a wipe of the installed version and testkey signed apks... this evening... may be...
