I recently changed to hyperdragon ROM, which has touchflo
the problem I'm having is that I can't select multiple items anymore, because when I drag the stylus/finger, is scrolls instead of selecting
I tried holding for a while, but it doesn't work
any hints on how to solve that?

I need Help my startmenu which used to work just fine but now every time you tap it the drop down list doubles up the recently used programs until the list scrolls off the screen and they are then just listed as icons with no program name,I don't really wish to do a hard reset and suggestions as how to remove them.
I think it started after I installed FTouchSL 2.5 which has now been uninstalled.
Also the "taskmanager drop down" from the top right hand side has gone walk about
Restored from backup not many progs to reload

Its because you didn't assign a program to all of your application button in the cube. This was discussed earlier, but would not be surprised if you couldn't locate it.
I am assuming you had SCLPC++ .51 installed correct? Once installed make sure you download the Cube Configurator 2.0 and assign every icon to a program. Save the init file and soft reset. Your problems with the cube will be gone!

Thanks will reinstall it soon and try again It may not have been installed correctly I certainly hadn't assigned the all the app buttons

Is there a definitive guide to installing to SCLPC++, because I would love to have the cube working, it was the best feature of the Touch Dual

I would like to get rid of the softkeys bar to gain extra space on today screen but do not succeed.
On my Artemis I used wisbar advance or dcinobar and both worked a charm. On Diamond, they work (I can see the last few lines becoming "thicker") but there must be some other program repainting them or taking some sort of priority upon them.
Manila is of course disabled. I have also tried the hacks in this forum and changed the registry to not assign softkeys to any program, both in Manila and in ordinary wm6 ("112/113"). Despite this they are still assigned to phone (left) and contacts (right) and do not disappear.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, need space for Ultimate Launcher!

The funny (!) thing is that even if I disable Manila and change the registry to not assign any program to softkeys they still remain labelled "phone" and "contacts" and open the respective programs! Again, it seems like some program is taking priority.
I wonder if anybody on light roms "Manila-free" are also experiencing the impossibility to shrink softkeys...

I have a new diamond and i cant seem to highlight multiple messages/files in order to delete them.
you can usually do this by scrolling the stylis over the items and they all highlight and i could do this with my old diamond but seems i cant now. any help please??
Think it was removed in later ROM's. You should have Select mesage options in the menu.

This is my first post, which could be a disaster if this is all down to my stupidity, but I swear I've done a lot of searching and come up with nothing. That out of the way...
When I go to the TouchFLO internet page on my XDA Ignito the default site if you hit 'launch browser' is m.yahoo.com, is there any way to change this at all? I'd much prefer it to launch with about:blank for responsiveness, and so my GPRS doesn't auto-connect when I want to do something with Opera.

Launch Opera.
Tap the Options icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen (it's a black box with horizontal lines in it with a similar smaller white box partially in top of it) and this'll pop up a list of options.
Select the Settings option.
Tap the Start Page bar and it'll drop down various options to do with the default page.
Select the 'User-defined' option and enter about:blank in the text box.
I had a bit of trouble getting Opera to 'remember' my change when I was doing exactly that so if this doesn't take effect then do a soft reset (after making sure everything is still as you want it in Opera) to get the option to 'stick'.

Thanks a lot for the advice, I appreciate it. Unfortunately I'd already tried setting the homepage in Opera to about:blank or Google UK, and got them to stick in the browser (which can be a pain at times as you mentioned), but the internet page in TouchFLO still says "Launch Browser" with "m.yahoo.com" under it.
I tried setting my homepage and then doing a soft reset, just to see if it would work, but unfortunately I still get m.yahoo.com as my homepage unless I manually start Opera from programs or by pressing "Browser" at the bottom of the internet menu instead of "Launch Browser" at the top.
I was wondering if the m.yahoo.com default was tied in to the registry or firmware.

Using file manager..
Go to:
\Application Data\Manila\
rename the file InternetPortal-en-AU.xml to something else (or delete).
Alternatively, you could change the home URL inside that xml file, that should fix your problem. It's a read only file, you would need to use something like total-commander to modify the attribute. G luck ..

My first post on the forum after using many of the excellent tips etc..
This is a great tip, its been bugging me since getting my diamond, I've managed to change the default page in the xml file to Google UK, also got rid of the MySpace and You Tube links by modifying the same file (using Total Commander).
I would also like to my put my own links and icons (similar to the MySpace and You Tube ones) on the main Opera Touch Flo screen, I've changed the link but have no idea how to change the image, the xml file refers to .qtc files for the images.
What are .qtc files and how can I create them to put my own icons in?

Just updated my Touch Diamond 2 to TOM's new WM 6.5 ROM. I'm happy with everything, but the new start menu is a little awkward. Its very small, and it shows everything. I liked HTC's original TouchFlo 'Programs' tab, as this allows me to add shortcuts to the apps I use most, and hide the remaining ones in the "All Programs" soft key.
However, I don't know how to change it so when I click the Start Menu (or the hardware button) it opens the Programs screen. I'm sure its a registry setting, but I don't know which one exactly.
Any help would be appreciated.
