how do i change my name on Market?
I have changed my name on Gmail.com
I have uninstalled/deleted:
/data/dalvik-cache/[email protected]@[email protected]
/data/data/com.android.vending
/system/app/Vending.apk
/system/sd/dalvik-cache/[email protected]@[email protected]
I have wiped and re-flashed new rooms...
and still stays the same name.. any idea guys.. Thanks
Did you change your nickname under edit personal information on your google account?
nickname was blank.. i just changed it after re flashing new room.. should i wipe now after changing nickname? thanks for reply.

After changing rom to Ruu_Signed_Duttys_WM6.1_Hybrid_1.64.08.21 [RTM] all new notes are named with the date. How to change that so they were named with firs letters of the contet, how it used to be.

can someone please help me find a way to auto-delete the opera cache every time i shut down opera?
i have to do it manually now to keep my phone memory at its best... so it would be nice if someone could create a .cab instal for this issue!

I can't guarantee it works, but there is an option in config to do this. In the browser address bar, type opera:config, and there is an option to clear on shutdown.
Must admit I haven't tried it though.

also in opera:config can you change the cache location? i tried it ,but im not sure if it does that. has nayone tried it?
in Windows/Opera9/ there is file called "opera.ini" and you have to find item called "Cache Directory4=". My setting is "Cache Directory4=Internal Storage/temp/OperaCache". It is working without problems, Opera is as fast as when cache was in main memory, but remember that you need to change this after every hard reset of device (no problem after softreset) so maybe it is useful to create backup copy of this fiel and after hardreset overwrite file opera.ini

yes under User Prefs in opera:config you can amend the location under Cache Directory4. Works fine for me.
What option for deleting automaticaly opera cache?

i'm not sure of my english language so can anybody tell me what is the exact option in opera:configuration to delete automaticaly the cache at the shutdown of the opera browser?

So when I put in *#745# it brings up a list of stuff that most of which i know nothing about - towards the bottom of the list it has an NV BACKUP option..... when i click on it, it prompts for a password - any body have any idea how to retrieve this password? I've tried all my passwords, including phone # and SSN.... im stumped...
anyone have any info on this??

I'm sorry,but i think that insn't the laucher.
It is Zeam laucher and when i go to setting there aren't any option
to set the screen resolution or similar...

ok, try opening the rom.zip file, than open system folder to find build.prop... open that with a text editor (notepad+) scroll throught the build.prop untill you find a line that says
ro.sf.lcd_density = 160
if it says any other number, than change it to 160
if you dont see the text, than just add it and see if that changes anything when you reflash the rom...
be aware if you are using AmonRA you must sign the rom after zipping it

Ahhhhhhh, ok... it also is the Density setting parameter that i've set when flashed the rom...THANKS TO ALL... you're great.
I've also another question, if i don't disturb you:
for the g1 dream can you post me any .zip file for update the phisical keyboard to italian?i try with some files that with other rom are ok (padronfroyo) but with GY it don't work...

I Flashed a ROM (Xperia_Z ROM for Note N7000 by AmniX). It doesn't have stock Email.apk in it. I tried to push "secemail.apk" in /system/app and set the permission to rw--r--r, apk is getting installed, also showing the Email icon. But after putting my email ID and passwords, it shows only one message "Trying to communicate with Server" and keeps on showing until I click cancel. I waited for more than an hour (Seriously more than an hour). In parallel other email clients are working but those are free and having some limitations.
My Question is, After installing Email.apk, is there any other file (probably which I'm missing) which sync with the servers ??? May be that file is missing in that ROM. I know its not a problem with ROM, as other free email clients are working.
Please Help.

I just notified AmniX about this on our FB group. Hopefully, he will help you soon
u mean SecEmail.apk n SecExchange.apk ？make sure u put to the right place SecExchange.apk is in system/app n SecEmail.apk is in preload system if u using deodex rom.
Just Place both files on preload/symlnk/system/app/<here> and write permission as rw-r-r with any root explorer. Now reboot and cheak.
