I'm searching a good application for rss reading ...

I use an app called Greed. It uses Google Reader, and I love it. If you want it can even notify you on feed updates etc.
i use AnyRss, very good Rss reader.

I recommend NewsRob
FeedR is the best I've found and I've tested them all. It shows images, has a nice interface and widgets in the recent update.
PS- it's about time some of these rss topics were merged together
I use FeedR too. I find it is the best of them all. Good 4 x 1 Widget.
as with the above 2 I use feedr, brilliant app
Since I want sync with Google Reader, I use NewsRob... My favorite.

if your not sure what this is, its a reader that reads barcodes such as my avatar.
these barcodes are beginning to become more and more powerful.
Opening links, generating sms, downloading messages.
anyhow.
more about it here

Been some time since I've seen this program. There are more QR-Code and Data Matrix readers out there. The website Mobile-Barcodes.com has a catalog of readers for Windows Mobile along with other platforms. The catalog is located here: http://www.mobile-barcodes.com/qr-code-software/.
Hope this helps.
Nice, I've never seen this one before Good job Voltage!! Skinzone Rules!!
I'm sorry if this is a noob question. I came across this and would like to get it for my G1 (Weather/time widget thing). Do I need root for this, or is it a widget i can download right off the market. I'm currently using the 1.6 Update unrooted.

Weather Widget
http://www.cyrket.com/package/com.androidapps.widget.weather2
Located in the market
Thank you!
finding it in the market isn't going so well.
Do a search for:
Android Apps
If you download barcode scanner you can scan the barcode in the link above. most people will give you links to Cyrket.com if you are looking for an app. Personally I use that site rather than searching or browsing the market and scan the barcodes of the apps I want on my phone. It's much easier.

nice, looks very similar... but is there a free one by any chance?
I use Smooth Calendar, it's free and shows the next few appointments on my screen. Very nice, simple interface, and not a lot of frills (which is nice because I just want something that works).
Just got Pure Grid. Love the way it looks, thanks for the info.
Hi there,
as a scholar I use many academic databases (journals, books) for my studies. The best thing I recently discovered is, some of them nicely work with our beloved NSTR!
The first one is JSTOR: http://www.jstor.org/
It has no dedicated app, but their website nicely supports mobile view:

Very good Android app has ebrary: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ebrary
Works very well with the Nook! It has its own reader built in. You have to read online or have an account at Adobe Digital Editions to download the ebook.
EBSCOhost APP works also: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ebsco.ehost
PDF articles (download failed, but you can send them to you via email) and full text articles (very nice, scrolling is working):
Do you have some experience with simmilar Academic databases? Tell us!

What settings are you using for location mode? That could be a factor. Try high accuracy if you aren't using it and see if it makes a difference.
Im using that, already tried everything i could think of
