Xperia change language

can some body tel me how to change language in sonyericson xperia is in french i whant to change it to english pls tel me what to do is urgent

Flash it with english ROM.

norwegian keyboard mapping on English Rom
Hello,
I have a r2008-no Rom. I would like to change only the O/S to English but keep the rest (Dictionary and keyboard to Norwegian).
Is this possible?
Does the English version of the R2 rom have the Norwegian keyboard mapping?

Can just change a little file in windows for this. Cant remember the file tho :S

U can use SPB BACKUP.....

Would definitely NOT recommend this SW in this context.

need to change this XPERIA X1 language from french to English .
in these 2 dayz i got a headache over reading about flashing romz and every site gives me some new downloads and links .
its exacting .

backup your personals/favorites,...
for stock roms
in rom dev stickies:
pavelx1 for all available stock roms (pick any of the English ones)
for tutorials check biovolt and phenx threads
alternate flashing via sd in jackleung thread
for custom roms
in rom devs stickies:
read about and h-spl using olinex thread
for tutorials check biovolt and phenx threads
alternate flashing using sd in jackleung thread
pick any one of the WWE custom roms that most fits your needs/behavior/style and flash it using the mthod of your choice
also wrong thread for that kind of q, this one is about changing language...

No new Italian ROM

Hi everybody. Why I cannot find ROM in Italian? All are WWE, German, Chinese, klingon , but no ITA. Now I have Touch it experience 3.5 ITA but I would like to upgrade to new version.

if you would read one every coockers first post!
it says most of the time: THIS ROM WILL ONLY COME WWE
so or cook your own ita rom
or stick with yous
or swich to WWE wicht is available

Is better to have a wwe that an ita rom (the path of some programs can create problem).
I'm italian, and when you have localized your device, what is the matter? Click SEND message instead INVIA?

totally agree. better to focus on bugfixing and developing then localizations, including italian.

I tested all the roms here, udK Syrius runs smooth, no issues discovered

I've made a Ita rom but I don't speak english very well so if you want try it you can find it here

Translate Winmo 6.5 to french

Hi,
I need some advice to translate win 6.5 to french.
What tool to use ?
I have searched in the forum and i have found : new_visualkitchen_v_1_8_1_only_exe_+_Tools_folder but when i try to extract any winmo 6.5 cooked rom it doesn't manage to extract the rom !

I have find a solution by install two cabs, more info soon with screenshot.

any news on that solution ? id like to translate a released rom to french

iam a german guy and i want to cook a german rom 6.5. i have tried many english roms, but of course, german ist my favourite language.
could anybody give me a hint, what is the difficulty for a german rom and how to manage it? Iam new in cooking, but iam sure that i can learn it.

well i think the best way is to download a German Offiical rom & use it

There is no german ROM 6.5 for HTC OPAL
