Problems with G-Sensor

Hey folks,
i got a htc touch diamond about a week now, and my g sensor doesnt work anymore.
Whenever i start teeter, the ball speeds over to the upper lefthand corner of the screen, and even the Hologram tool doesnt work.
When i try and install the calibration tool from the official htc site it sais that my htc g sensor is out of balance, even when i lay it on the table.
Whats wrong?
Can i fix it somehow?

i did, and it still doesnt work..
when i let it calibrate, it does that standard animation thingy, and it jumps right back to '****ed up' state.
Which is not good is it now?

Hey, tryed Hard-Reset?
Have the same problem now (till some days without realizing it really...) and backup current system now.
Hope a hard reset helps.. me and you ;-)

Try HR and if that don't help i suppose sending it for repair is the only option you've got left.

hard reset doesnt work, already tried it, gonna send it to htc then. Do they mind i installed HardSPL?

your warranty is voided when u flash a Hard SPL, so you have to flash back a official ROM and original SPL.
I have a Offical HTC Touch Diamond, and i wrote down the original details incase i needed to flash it back.
ROM: _HTC Touch Diamond_QMR_RUU_Diamond_HTC_WWE_1.93.405.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship.exe
SPL: Stock-Original_Diamond_SPL_1.37_Multi_Regional.zip

thanks for the heads up, but erh, i bought it at vodafone, and they have their own branded rom, is there anyway to get that one back?

Before sending it back I would try flashing a different ROM....I suspect the issue is ROM related (S/W) and not h/w....

No, its no sw problem, tried different roms. Is it maybe an idea to flash back to original SPL and then reflashing it to HardSPL? maybe hardspl is causing this?
And where do i find the original vodafone rom? (NL) cus i cant seem to find it on the site.

diamond bricked :( HELP!!!

Its working now - keeping my fingers crossed... it obviously wasn't bricked... i don't know what happened but all i did was flash the radio to what it came with 1.00.25.05 and voila!
guys i need help... i think my diamond is bricked - maybe someone here could tell me if it really has or is there a way out.
the first screen appears the touch diamond screen, and then the windows screen (the green one) and then it restarts... and this is what keeps on happening...
any idea? any help would be much appreciated!

Have you tried a HARD reset?

Maybe the ROM is corrupted on yuor phone. Try getting to bootloader and flashing again.

i got into the bootloader - connected it to the USB - shows USB on the bottom... how do i flash a rom then? CustomRUU? or is there a way to place the nbh on the internal storage?

There's No way to place it on the internal storage if you cant get into Windows. This is why I always keep a copy of my current ROM in the Internal Storage, so i can reflash if I need to.
Try doing it over USB, it should still work.

tried a couple of times... restarts... either at 10% or 12% or 23%... tried rebuilding the nbh as well

if its under warrenty, flash original ROM, Radio and SPL then send it back as faulty

hey thanks man - you gave me the idea of going back to originals... i only went back to original radio and it's working

your phone probably didn't like that particular hard-SPL version.

How to restore to original?

My brother also has an HD and off course I put a nice custom ROM on it
However, the screen is dead since yesterday.
I already put the original dutch ROM on it, but it shows a nasty green windows screen. I can't get any further beyond allign screen...
My question: when he sends his HD to HTC, they will probably won't fix it, because they can see it's HSPL (?).
So anybody knows how to restore to complete original, without getting into the phone with cabs? I put HSPL on it, the phone is 6 months old.
Any help would really be appreciated!!!!

You can restore original SPL and rom without having to get into phone with cabs.
As long as you can enter bootloader screen you can restore stock SPL.

I came across this "step for step" process via a search. I have not tried it yet (and hopefully never have to -
How to reflash Stock/Shipped SPL - STEP BY STEP - FOR WARRANTY REASONS ONLY!
0. be sure to first restore stock OS, and stock radio. stock SPL is always to be done last!!
1. download your choice of a stock spl package (ie the original SPL).
2. also download the original hardspl from the attachments in this post. (I presume you already have this?)
3. run the hardspl exe but do not click anything in RUU yet. just let the hardspl EXE extract the files for flashing. (You can probably skip this step)
4. the SPL you want to revert to is a .NBH file, put the stock SPL NBH in the extracted hardspl package, overwriting the original NBH file in it!
5. continue with the RUU (or if needed, run SSPL-Manual.exe manually, then run RUU when it goes to tricolour 1.07.OliNex screen), it goes to 100%, reboots, done.
+6. to verify, enter bootloader mode, see version number on tricolour screen, should now just say 1.14.0000.
that's it.
+7. no worries: if your device is stuck in bootloader mode with Hard-SPL and you need warranty service, you can still flash stock SPL.
As I said, I have not tried this. If this does not work, search on this site or Google for additional info. Hope it helps.

Thanks for linking to the post, I just added the steps
The OP however says that they have already flashed back to the stock ROM, but that the colours are screwy. This needs the stock SPL restored as well in order to recover normal functioning (or at least so that they can send in for repairs without voiding the warranty).

note that; if you restore stock SPL 114 or 115 please download the same rom version for flashing.
ex: when you restore SPL 114 you must have ship Rom:http://rs68l32.rapidshare.com/files....479.3_Radio_52.49a.25.26_1.09.25.14_Ship.exe
because the different SPL & Rom version will make wrong screen.

firstly you must Hard SPL 1.56 Olinex

The process of restoring stock rom/SPL is only to be used if you plan to return device. If you are wanting to keep you you mentioned earlier then you would need to put either USPL or HSPL on your device first. I would recommend USPL for you as it would be easier to return to stock SPL afterwards.
Once you have rom on your device, DO NOT restore stock SPL afterwards. You only restore this if you plan to return your device. If you did you would have to go through whole process of putting USPL or HSPL onto your device again to flash another rom.

The phone has to be returned because of screen problems.
I will put SPL 1.13 on it and then flash the earlier mentioned ROM.
Then return to HTC

No probs. Out of curiosity what screen problems do you have? Are they Hardware problems or is it something else which could possibly be fixed through the assistance of xda users

It's the phone of my brother, he tells me that the screen doesn't respond anymore, so he can't get past the calibration!
I'll give an update when HTC fixed this (or replaced it )

I'm doing this right now. I had been using Dutty's V6 before. I never updated the radio, so Ishouldn't have to change it, right?
Anyway, I flashed the stock RUU_BlackStone_HTC_WWE_1.56.405.1_Radio_52.62.25.34_1.13.25.24_Ship.exe rom, and that went fine. I'm trying to flash the stock 1.13 spl, and I get error 202: connection. It thinks it can't see my phone, even though it does the initial connection, and even sees what version (1.56) of the spl is on there. Any ideas?

Ok, I did this: I put the phone into bootloader manually by pressing up when it boots up to get to the tricolor screen. That let me run the 1.13 spl pdate, and it said it completed successfully. However, when it boots ups, it still shows D:1.56 olinex or whatever. Did it not work?

Ok, acutally I think it did load up. The Bootloader shows SPL-1.13.0000. So why does it show:

Is this ready to send in for service?

If your SPL says 1.13.0000 then you are fine to send phone in for service.
R1.13.25.24 - Radio Version
G52.62.25.34u - Protocol Version
D1.56.00.00 - ROM Version

Stuck on bootloader screen!!! Help!!

I've been waiting for hours for someone to help me and I searched and searched, I can't find any help!!! I have to go to work soon and I've been on this screen since 7:30AM EST!
Looks like I'm stuck at the boot loader screen and it goes back to it when I do a soft rest. I can't do a hard reset since I can't turn off the phone.
I think it's the bootloader screen.
Says RUUNBH on the top right corner and the screen is red, green, blue and white which these codes or whatever.
Took the battery out for a few and it went right back to that same screen.
Can someone help me bring back my Rhodium to stock???
EDIT: I might of posted this in the wrong section. Should this be in Rhodium General?

I have no idea on how to do that, I searched how-to's but I can't find any full instructions or where to get the stock rom for T-Mobile HTC TP2.

Try a manual hard reset? The instructions should be in your manual.

It says while the phone is off to HOLD SEND/END key with the power until the message comes up. The phone wont turn off unless I take out the battery for me to do a hard reset.
EDIT: I took the battery out then put it back in. The phone is now off, I hold the buttons and did the hard reset. It went right back to the boot loader screen.

Asked me to press the VOL UP button to reboot. I did and it went right back to the boot loader screen. A flash happened on the screen when I try a soft reset and it says really quickly!..."NO IMG FILE" then it goes back to the 4 color screen.
EDIT: Image below on how my screen is since 7:30 AM EST!!!

on some device, active the RUU, connect it to PC & press soft reset button (the one in side the battery cover).

Thanks for the reply, but that was the first thing I tried. Looks like I will have to go to work with no phone! This is crazy on how this can't be resolved.

If you can get the t-mobile image, then try flashing that back to the device... If you connect a usb cable to your device, at the bottom, where it says serial it'll change to usb...
Or, if you have a goldcard, maybe try installing another image. But I'd say you're best to install the t-mobile image if you can get one?!

Ok so where can I get an image that will work on my phone? I also will need instructions on how to do it properly.

Where are you from? Can you find the rom on your tmobile site?
Or, creat a goldcard, copy the RHODIMG.nbh into the root of the card and try flashing that...?
As far as I know, your device is not bricked, you simply need your original supplier rom...

I replied to the PM (basically do set 16 0 command in mtty)
but I see your photo now - you have 0.85.1000 SPL? that's mfg SPL so if "set 16 0" did not help (you didn't describe what you did to the phone when this happened), you can just take any official rhodium ROM and flash it

Ok that's my main problem that I've been having. Where can I get an official Rhodium ROM and how do I do a flash? I've been searching all morning.
And yes 0.85.1000, that's what it says on the screen.

Did the goldcard, but I think I did it wrong. I added the RHODIMG to the SD then tried to update my TP2. That's when I got an error saying it's not for PDA and how I need to update my utility.
I got the steps to do the goldcard correctly, I just want to take another shot at updating this ROM.

hard reset doesn't erase the OS image.

is your SPL version really 0.85.1000? how did you get this phone? what happened when it got stuck on bootloader screen?

It says 0.85.1000 on the screen so I guess so and I got it from T-Mobile. Ordered it through Customer Service.

then the set 16 0 will work just fine
weird the rom didn't work though

I have just flashed the 6.5 rom which you flashed
It does change the spl to 0.85 and i have the exact the sameimage which you have shotted during the flash process. But the process of this rom's flashing has two stage, it will restart after first 10% and show up the image which you shotted and upload, and continue afterwards. i guess ur goldcard has the problem so it stops and stucked there. Try other sign roms would be a better solution.

Bootloader without volumebuttons

Here is my little story
I always used the topix roms with my touch hd what was very nice. But the phone feltout ofmy hands and the lcd was broken. So i putted on the original rom in the hope htc would fix my hd but they didnt cause the screen is no warranty and they would fix it for 250 euro's pff too much
So i ordered a lcd screen on ebay for 50 put it in myself but i ****** up the volume button and it doesnt work anymore so i cant go in to the bootloader. Is there anyway to flash it to a different rom.
I already tried to do it with Hsplwrapper 1.56onilex. I have got it activesynced my original is 1.56.404.1 and it updates succesfully to 1.56onilex says Hsplwrapper. So i putted the bootloader on the phone and when i boot in to the bootloader is says everytime 1.07. What am i doing wrong ?
Or cant i flash no more cause i ****** up the volume button ?

What is your current SPL in bootloader?
Have you tried SSPL?
You can flash rom via usb cable so you don't need to use volume button. Just put rom file (.nbh) and ruu wrapper in same folder and run wrapper once you've sorted out your SPL

The current SPL on the bootloader is 1.07.OLiNex
When im using SSPL it works i can go in to my bootloader but the problem is when im updating with Hsplwrapper it says my current is 1.56.404.1 and then im updating everything goes fine and then im going in to the bootloader again with SSPL and it says the same spl everytime. While HSPLwrapper updates fine.
So thats the problem a bit i cant update the spl any idea what im doing wrong ?

Once you've got 1.07.OLiNex have you tried resetting device then putting it back in bootloader before running HSPL 1.56?
Also, another fix could be to flash a stock 1.56 rom, then try using HSPL again
