Htc tytn ii the ultimate phone or ???

i like the new htc touch dual because it is one of the only phones with it's own multimedia features from htc now preinstalld by windows can anybody create multimedia application so the htc kaiser can be the ultimate phone that will be pretty cool. if multimedia like helio ocean, nokia n95, or iphone if the htc had multimedia like those phones in would probably be the best phone in the world

Well i can only say 1 thing , touch dual doesnt even have wifi .... there goes your multimedia

I gotta agree. After using the ipod Touch and owning the HTC Kaiser, I am discouraged the Kaiser does not even begin to compete with the touch screen abilities of the Apple product.

To be honest, iPhone/iPod Touch Safari is amazing. And Youtube works out of the box. But if you bother to take the time, you can get even more functionality of the Kaiser.

I your referring to the mulit touch like the iPhooy, it ain't gonna happen. That's a hardware (screen) difference.

damn... I even remember when I've seen 3310 in a magazine for a very first time I thought to myself "dang.. I gotta have it". it was sweet phone back in those days. my white 3330 was even better.
but kaiser is bit better

I personally love my ladies touch

Definetly Universal!
It´s not a new model, but not always the newest is the best
VGA big screen, fast processor, full keyboard.
It´s the best at least now

i think the best one is the one that has the software you need. it isnt nessesarily how fast the car is, but the driver.
I love my wizard. everyonce in a while I see one come along that I drool over... untill I see how limited the oem software is.
although I kinda wish I had the euro kaiser. the one with the camera in the front (skype)

HTC Touch Diamond

If my touch dual had a FULL Qwerty, then I'd say the touch dual.

Universal all the way
Due to my work I get to work and play with all of your devices and at the moment have all the HTC models up to Universal right here in my toy box, starting with Smartphone edition. I always go back to Universal, despite the size. NOTHING beats that device. From time to time I put my SIM into something else just to keep the button/usage familiarity up to date, but each and every time I feel I miss my Uni too much to part with it for more than a day. JMTCW.

I owned an ATT tilt/kaiser for a month and sold it out of complete spite over it's lack of.. well.. everything. I reverted back to my mda/wizard and have not looked back. The wizard does far more and IMO is the best phone from HTC. unfortunately it's not 3G so i will probably go blackberry when tmo 3g gets to california. It's not worth the money for a 3g phone that i can't play doom or watch movies on (stupid tilt). 2 thumbs up to the wizard.

Have owned a Tytn, a Touch, a Kaiser, and now have a HP 614c, and for me it's the best one.

After using any device Verizon has that is worth buying, I'm going to say the Touch/Vogue/xv6900. Lightweight, lots of memory (storage and RAM), I really like to flat and smooth screen (makes it easier to swipe the screen). Only two pieces missing on it are no Wi-Fi, and no flash on the camera, but I have an unlimited data plan and rarely pull out the phone to take pics in the dark, so my vote is the Touch!

Dont know but definitely NOT xda stealth which I have......

So in all seriousness, the Kaiser is slow. Really slow. Like, too much software for too little processing power. I'm coming from a Treo 650, which did exactly what I wanted it to at lightning speed.
I'm seriously considering returning my Tilt and getting a 3g Steve Jobs Special or another Palm PDA.
I went from Palm Pilot -> Kyocera 6035 -> Treo 650 -> Kaiser. So far, I feel like the Kaiser impedes rather than enables my daily productivity.

right now, I'm thinking I need more speed. The Tilt is very very slow compared to my Treo 650, even without overclocking the processor.
Also, the interface is more laptop PC, less cell phone. Five+ clicks per basic task = 4 too many. It's a mouse-and keyboard like interface.
Plus, Outlook Mobile is lame.
I dunno, I still have it and am flashing away to try and improve things. I like having control over my phone's software, hardware and OS, but I don't like having it be agonizingly slow.

Mod'em is right about having extreme control over the hardware/software but it being just toooooo daaaaaang slooooooow.
I also firmly believe this is why I'm most definitely waiting for the next gen powered devices (UMPC's/MID's). These are most likely:
-Intel ATOM powered devices (X86 platform)
-NVIDIA Tegra powered devices (can you say 720p H.264 with the CPU/GPU/Chipset only taking up 1.3watts!).
But really, the hardware you see in the videos at the link below almost made me cry! Do yourself a favor and check them out!

Those videos show what I've been looking for in my mobile device. I think a Tegra chipset is in my future and going to be the device that takes me away from my tilt.

Thinking of buying Palm Treo Pro

Kaiser has been a disaster. I am tired of flashing Roms every other day.
Thinking of buying Treo Pro. I guess its got almost same specs as kaiser.
I just need to know if its being manufactured by those Taiwanese cheaters/Frauds. I don't want to use HTC Hardwares.
What about Imate do they manufacture their own phones?
Any info will help me make my life more simpler.

Indeed, I don't know what's wrong with the Kaiser. Some people flash repeatedly because they can't live without it and need their fix, but that's in no way necessary... I tried one custom ROM, liked it, and never flashed again in 6 months, and my device works just as I'd expect it to. Period...

HTC happens to make a fair amount of Windows Mobile hardware out there out the market. Sorry to tell you that? Their hardware is actually superb, its the software implementation that you're complaining about(and which I can sympathize to a degree with you). The Android is coming out on T-Mobile relatively soon. You might take a look at that. HTC made still, but the software should be MUCH nicer than Windows Mobile.

I need hardware as good as Nokia, whenever I see one, i am impressed with their sound quality and camera is also very good.
I love Windows mobile.

Video
Keyboard
GPS (on 6.1)

New Phone Renders.

Hello,
Here are a few new renders Ive done for you guys.
This one is based on the Touch HD + the Zune HD, It has the snapdragon processor (1.3), 4gb onboard memory with MicroSD expansion (up to 32gb i believe?) g-sensor, HD FM radio, GPS, plus the usual items found on today's phones, and boasts a WVGA screen and 5mp Camera. Runs either Android Or WM6.5 (not dual booting, ^.^) and not seen in the render but has two external speakers (on the side) for better music and speakerphone quality.
Anyway, enough talk, heres the photos!
