Hi everyone, i need help.
Is it possible to call out the keypad during a call?
I have to dial a choise during a call with operators but i dont know how to call out the keypad.
I have a cooked rom, precisely Benko 4.0 clean rom
Thx in advance
The answer should be right in fronyt of your face; literally. At the bottom left screen should be an option to recall the keypad when in call. If it is not there then the cook modified the SW when making it. If that's the case you should ask them. This really should've been posted in the Benko ROM's thread; you probably would've gotten a quicker answer.

Hi,
Has anyone got the s2u2 Slide to Answer feature working?
I've got S2A turned on, but when a call comes in, it looks like S2A and the TouchFlo answer screen are fighting it out as to which one gets control... there is lots of flickering on the display, and it switches back and forth between the S2A and the Touchflo answer screens.
If you press the screen, it seems that the TouchFlo is getting priority, as the Answer or Ignore buttons will work, even if they aren't actually being displayed.
Anyone managed to get this working properly?
I'm using S2U2 version 1.03.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Regards,
Ben

That sounds like fun.
I suppose you can disable TouchFLO 3D, although you probably don't want to do that. You might be able to stop TouchFLO 3D from handling calls with a registry edit, although I doubt it...
I have the same problem. After several tries, I found two solutions. The first one is using AdvanceConfig to disable 'phone skin', after restart, s2u2 works properly. But the dialpad is no longer the diamond style. The second one is to install another dialpad to replace the existing diamond dialpad.
But i really love the existing diamond dialpad, so I gave up the s2u2. hehe, really hope someone can fix this problem.
So can you still utilize all the other S2U2 goodness besides S2A feature? If so, I'd happily turn off S2A and keep all else. Though a proper solution would also be the preference.
yes, other functions work in a good condition

has someone found a solution?
i blocked the touch function of the screen when there is incoming call. So now i use hardkey to pick up the phone. For s2u2, A_C also realized the problem, hope he can fix it in the near furture

I'd like this answer too, i love so much s2a and the other functions but i love the classical tflo dial pad(i'm a little bit confused about all the tweaking and installing out the box apps that may get in conflict with others!)
However i still think that Diamond will be a superphone in one month or two with all the geniuses around here
There is another thread with exactly this issues. If you have managed to block the touch screen and just allow the hard keys, how did you do it?
up up.
Does anyone found a solution? My S2U2 worked great, untill this morning.....Now I have the same problem.
How can help.....
You can keep touchflo3d dial pad with S2U2, just have to edit registry "HKLM\Software\HTC\Biotouch" make a new Key called "Disable4SpecificApp", and inside this another one called "S2U2", inside this a new string wich "value name" is "classname" and its "value data" is "S2U2"
Hi guys,
This question is only for ex touch dual users.
1) Could you please tell me if you miss the physical keyboard? I know the virtual keyboard on the diamond can be set as "normal" numerical keyboard with xt9 but is it easy (and accurate) as the physical one to use??
2) I've read somewhere that the diamond was not vibrating when receiving an sms? Is it true??
Thank you for your feedback!
Answer to your first question, I did find the physical keyboard useful, only because it gave me the whole screen to look at, but using the keyboard itself the Diamond keyboard does a very good job. I have mine on Phone Keypad and i dont often make a mistake. I do admit that sometimes it can be frustrating, pushing the space bar or not pushing it when you should do, but I had the same using the Touch Dual hardware keyboard so the experience is on par.
Mmm, well mine seems ok when I get a text, altho i dont often set it to vibrate so will have a play today and see if i notice anything.
What i will say is that there is supposed to be a version of the Diamond coming out with a keypad. I dont mean the Touch Diamond Pro with the full qwerty keyboard i mean literally a Touch Dual keypad on the diamond. So far specs, information is all pretty hush hush so if you really miss the physical keypad and you think you will find it useful having one, maybe waiting would be the best option.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Tom
@ tom: Thank you for your answer.
I really like the physical keypad. It helps me writing text messages without having to "really" look at what I'm doing.
As you said, I think I'll wait some time hoping they will release a touch dual diamond...
Have a good day!
Anyone else could answer this question?? Would be nice to have more than one answer...
Sorry, me again! Ive had my phone on Vibrate since yesterday and not had any problems with it not vibrating when it should do.
Just thought I would let you know.

About the SMS - yes, it wasn't alerting (vibrate or sound) but there is a tweak - registry entry.
Works fine now
Pls, do you know any software to lock my Diamond during incoming call?
iPhone have that function, when you get incoming call, you must unlock first and after that you can answer. I nearly always tap the answer or reject button in my pocket while i trying to get my phone out... Can anybody help me?
OMG.......
So many times ... S2U2 (i phone solution with slide to answer), AnswerkeyDisabler, Sensorlock, Touchlock pro, Pocketshield, Inesoft Phone (Default skin for me best solution), .....
As noted, there are several programs available for the Diamond to handle inadvertant call answering. I use PocketShield, works great for me and latest release (2.01.0) has some nice features, including a very well done and functional replacement dialer and for a bonus, reduces program memory by ~8megs.

I think this might give you what you want. Not sure if it will intall over that you have now. I used it once , but I prefer the slide to answer. It keep me from accently hitting the hang up button when holding the phone to my face or answer while phone is in it's case, or me grabbing it, before I can see who's calling.
Try this, hope it's what you're after:
thx,
i helped, bud i dont see color and mute button. It doesnt matter, i´m glad that hw keys is now working.
Sorry, I don't remember the exact detail of the dailer.
Keep an eye on it. On my ROM this (maybe, don't recall specificaly) and the opal dailer start out working but soon after break.
Hope you find what you looking for.
I've tried installing this cab on my HTC 6.1 ROM, but it only changes the startup pin screen and nothing else. Any other versions that will work on a standard ROM to get the call id screen like above?
Often when my phone rings (its usually in my pocket) i accidentally reject or answer the call (because the touch screen is so sensitive)
do u have any ideas what can i do about this problem
Thanks
Mmmm...
You can flash a cooked ROM with the newer TACHI dialer installed. This has 'Slide to Answer' feature so that would cure your problem. Or, if you're not into flashing, try this. It's the best screen locker on the planet (just my opinion), but best of all, it's free
thx i will try the locker
S2U2 is very nice!
TouchLockPro is also free and has a lot of sensor based features to add functionality to your Diamond.
And when I first started using my Diamond I paid for PocketShield.
