Molski's NEW UPDATE ROM with 30MB free mem

for the benefit of molski's new ROM, m posting this new thread so that people here knows the new update cook rom of molski(tried it and good)
and also for ell82,to respect his thread,bec it's already contaminated by molski's fan(m one of them (",) )

weird .... dat after closing all the programs all i get is 23.6mb free :S:S y is dat so ??

seems kinda slow :S ..... still only 24mb free .... dats da max its going :S

When ever I have gone to Molski's website all I see is the front page with the phone picture.
The only item clickable is the paypal icon, should I see more.

I just installed it on my MDA Vario and now it's extremely slow and I can't get it to connect through Microsoft ActiveSync anymore Also the GSM module is gone. Can anybody help me get the crap off it again?

u have installed a rong ver of ips/spl.... get a new rom ... dat is stable and goes wiz ur system either g3 or g4 ..... den connect da usb .. take da stylus and poke da reset key one u c da blank screen press and hold camera button untill u get a rainbow colored screen ... if ur connection wiz usb is successfull den ull notic USB ritten at da bottem ... den start wiz da flashing ull b successfull....
if dats not da case then i pass it on to sum1 else.

Try to flash it again...
Did you CID Unlock your Wizard before doing the upgrade?
And people....it takes 2-3 minutes to complete the upgrade from 98% !!

How many programs are there in your /Windows/Startup folder? After an upgrade ONLY Capnotify.lnk and smartskey.lnk should be present.
How many Today plug-ins are loaded?
And are you SURE you flashed the 2.26.10.2 30MB Rom?
I have about 29.40MB RAM Free after a soft-reset.

Install Java from Microsoft or the Sun Java Package.
The menu on the left side is written in Java...so if you have no Java installed, you have no menu

Thanks guys it works again! You were right.. wrong IPL/SPL version was installed. I entered bootloader mode with the power on/camera button and I could flash the whole thing again with a radio ROM. Works like a charm now. Super smooth and fast compared to my old TMobile ROM. Many thanks Molski!

The "30MB RAM" G4 Rom is also available from now on at www.molski.biz

EVERYBODY PAY ATTENTION:
I removed all my 2.26.10.2 "30MB RAM" Roms from www.molski.biz and the XDA FTP Server (due to a little splashscreen problem in one of the roms and I don't know which one, so I created for new Roms)!
Right now I am uploading 4 New Roms (WWE G3 and G4, NLD G3 and G4) to www.molski.biz, so DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY NEW ROM RIGHT NOW!!
The uploading to molski.biz will be ready in about 2 hours, after that I will transfer them to the XDA FTP Server and that will take about 10-15 minutes.
So everybody, wait about 2,5 hours before downloading any Rom, because they can be corrupt otherwise!
This are the filesizes of the 4 Roms:
G3 WWE: 54,1 MB (56.735.487 bytes)
G4 WWE: 53,5 MB (56.117.532 bytes)
G3 NLD: 54,2 MB (56.859.250 bytes)
G4 NLD: 53,6 MB (56.250.805 bytes)

hello . iam new here in this forum . my first smartphone was a t mobile sda music flashed to wm5. it was easy here to change the language to german. also the t9 language .. my new phone is a wizard with your molski rom .
would be great to change the keyboard layout. to german and change the language to german.. is this possible ?

still, after installing tcmp,pocket plus,rhino stat,sk tools,memmaid and resco explorer i still have 26mb free mem, and when i softreset i got 28mb(whew!)
Note that i doing this test,i did not OC my wizard, still has the stock 195Mhz clock.....now i will test it's performance in games, i'll update you later people!

Now i'm waiting for g4 rom update? how long, Moski? i'm very interested in your rom

HTC Hermes's WM 6 on Breeze

As I understand "Also the Breeze Hardware shares most of the Parts with the Hermes" is it possible to convert it's WM 6 for Breeze?

Hermes is a PocketPC and Breeze is a Smartphone...
Both WM5 and WM6 have separate OS editions for PocketPC and Smartphone. If I were you, I wouldn't try to force "WM6 Professional" (Pocket PC) for Hermes on a Breeze (Smartphone - "WM6 Standard").

So, you need to decompress the xip segment and get a memory map of breeze. if memory addresses are the same as hermes, you need to replace a coredll.dll in second xip segment and you need to build imgfs using wm6 os from excalibur/vox and breeze wm5 drivers and applications. to load this into the phone, you need to avoid nbh check

how can we decompress the xip segment ???

today i have played a little bit with bootloader...
task 32 says FF ... so its definitly not supercided... but i don't really know why a few other persons here can flash a dopod rom.. maybe they are all the same cid ??
also i'm searching for a usb sniffer ... have found a few in the web but all costs money and noone had give me understandable commands while using the romupdate tool from the actuell htc rom...

ok found some other interresting info..
the RUU_BREE100_1.34.251.1_1.38.00.10_HTCEUR_SHIP ROm has a QTEK_Z12 CID ....
but we all can update it to breeze device...
quite interesseting is also that:
Cmd>info 2
HTCSQTEK_Z12Û.oÂHTCE
... as we can see i my HTC Device has a QTEK_Z12 CID ... maybe someone can check what CIDS und the Breeze's out there...

just go in bootloader:
turn off device and restart it with hold cam button...
attach usb cabel the serial line on the 3color screen should change to usb...
also you have to deactivate the activesync usb connection...
then start the mtty app choose the usb connection...
then youll see the cmd> line... after this enter info 2 ... and you should become a output like mine...

i read that HTC announced S730 (wings)
it is like s710 but with MTeoR's hardware and WM6
I hope that it is possible use s730 ROM to take WM6 for MTeoR
So we need wait for s730 i think

excalibur (s620) based on Tornado. So it have OMAP chipset, other radio w/o 3G etc.

the mainproblem is that i cant extract the files out of the nbh file...
because of that i can't modifiy a hermes rom...
i will look forward and hope to find an solution for it...

when flashing an unmodified excalibur rom, breeze directly goes to bootloader ....

RomVersion: 1.93.407.1 Ger

Radio: 1.00.25.05
I have installed the Update and my Touch Diamond now is realy fast

i am also not able to register my phone, becausethe page tells me my phone is not htc branded.

You are probably a customer of O2 (as I am).
We have to wait, until O2 releases the new Rom Version.
I have read in a different thread, that thay will release a update soon

Its in fact quite tricky to find software updates for t-mobile phones.
But this is your page:

But you have to be very patient, because even if T-Mobile releases a Rom Update it will take a long time. Until now they have never released a Update for the MDA Touch. Thats why I changed from T-Mobile to O2, I hope they do better...

TouchFlo Animation is definitely gone! No menus sliding in anymore. Thats why its faster though

Updating MDA3 WM5 File missing

Hello,
i dont have a lot experence with pda's but i try to update my mda3 from ppc2003 to wm5. I read this http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BlueAngel_WM5_For_Beginners and try it. There is written i need a file with the name BA_WWE_DT_12200_167_10602_Ship.exe from where i can get this file? I just search more than 2 hours, but i cant find it. Iam very happy if someone will help me.

ok, first of all, you don't need that file.
the point in the wiki is, that whenever you want to return to your shipped rom, you should have a file present named similar to that. maybe you still have the cds that came with the device or your carrier has those roms for download or you might want to refer to Xplode's great shipped rom archive here: http://alevri.atspace.com/
but still, that is just some sort of backup solution to go back to wm2003se and you don't really need that file to upgrade your device. what you do need though, is a wm5 rom, and that is where it starts to get difficult, because no one uses wm5 anymore. before i'd spend hours slaving over searching a rom like that, i would suggest, you go up to wm6.1 or wm6.5 instead, because most wm5 download links are dead, the os itself is not supported anymore...
i really appreciate you reading the wiki yourself, because that makes my job explaining the process to you much easier

that is the part, where you get the download links, you download the rom, the extrom and the fixes files, and then you go to this page of the wiki:

where the process of upgrading is explained in detail. make sure not to miss out on any steps, it is also best to use a windows xp machine, vista is not that easy to upgrade on (in fact, never worked for me).
it is a step by step manual, and as mentioned before, maybe you don't understand a step, maybe a download link is dead, maybe something doesn't work out on the first attempt. still make sure, not to step anything, because that can cause weird errors, if have trouble at any point please post back and don't mess up your device.

I find out, that my version of Blue Angel (PH20A2) i not compatible with Wm5. My problem is, i bought this mobile in Germany but now i live in China. The problem is, now i cant use the chinese simcard. Is there a way to install a neutral rom? Where i can download it. This problem makes me really crazy. Iam happy when someone can help me.

if it is a ph20a2, you can indeed not upgrade to wm5 and above. that also would mean your device works in cdma network, not gsm. and i can assure you that cdma devices are not sold in germany, since in entire europe there is no cdma network. so apparently either you have the only european cdma phone or you are maybe mistaking and want to check the model again.
for unlocking your device to use it in other networks, please refer to this thread with the all in one sim unlocker tool

at first thank you for your support, iam very thankful for that! When i bought it, it was a chinese version over. Than i cance it to a german one. In Germany i never use it like a mobile only like pda. The version number is correct. The pda is a chinese one, but how i can use it now and install software for that. I cant find the right one. I just search 3 days, but no result...

Jade 100 w/ROM in Dutch

I'm new. I've got a HTC Jade 100 with SPL 1.40.0000 - MicroP-Jade (Led) V5.
All the interface (also W Mobile) are in Dutch. Can I change it to French (cause I'm French).
Can you tell me where to find a clear procedure to change the ROM to French (and whre to get it) and also for the operating system.

Hi Haree,
Try the soft "htc\Jade-HardSPL_V5_20R3_232HSPL.exe" downloaded from the given link. After my HTC goes with 3 colors screen and the SPL goes from 1.40.0000 to 1.40.1000 and Windows Mobile center stop running and got an error with usb connection. I use Windows Vista. Any idea to make a HSPL?

Try here. You will need a valid Touch 3G S/N in order to download the ROM.
P.S. - I'm pretty sure it's a standard EU english build, but it doesn't hurt to try.

When I put my SN I've got the Dutch version. Since I choosen to upgrade to WM 6.5 in UK since I didn't find it in French version. So If you now where I can find the WM 6.5 in FR for Jade it'll be kind.

if u are asking for an offcial HTC 6.5 it is not available and im not sure if any one has cooked a french rom here but if ur HSPL is done ie ur spl is same as u see in my sign them just click last line my sign and i have give all links u need in the same thread
or try tommy34 megade rom i think he as provided lang support in his keyboard
