Anybody there who could help me. my xda1 keeps on hanging/freezes. cooked and tried different ROMS from stefan's kitchen but the problem still persist. I live in the Philippines, my ROM ver. now is 3.20.06 ENG. radio ver. is 4.21.00 and Protocol ver. is 32S54. when i turn off the device, it doesn't turn on again when you leave it too long on OFF status. so i have to soft reset. when I access the contacts in my SIM, it would load but would stop short of completing the transfer from my SIM to my xda. HELP PLS.
Have you installed KSE Truefax on your device.
This causes some problems....

i don't know if i have installed that trufax. is it selected as a default in your kitchen? BTW, how would I know if my problem is software or hardware? can it be that my problem is hardware? tnx

Have the same problem, after upgrading to WM6.1 3G is not working anymore.
Tried to change ROM and radio , but with no luck.
Problably someone knows how to get 3G back on my phone ?
forgot to add that i have english version of wm6 .
Hi I had to reinstall my Vista HP...but after that I cant connect to internet throught WMDC (latest) I also HR my Diamond never had these problems pls help me something...
PS: firewall is off and else WMDC works normal even synchronization...
PS2: tried latest duttys, bepes and swiftBlades ROMs

it was because of advance network functionality I had to uncheck it...
edit: connection without advanced network functionality is very unstable so Im at the beginning anybody know whats wrong???

My htc diamond was locked on ORANGE UK, SO, i came onto this site and flashed it with a new rom using olinex 1.40 hardspl. I also flashed a new radio rom 1.00.25.05. I've just recently updated it with the new 2.03 rom wwe. But it was ever since i first flashed the rom that i noticed everything like gprs, mms, wap etc didn't work. I've since been using a O2 simcard. I have tried inputting the O2 settings but it doesn't dial out, or so it says. I was just wondering, does it have anything to do with the radio? Or is it a hardware fault...i can't get my head around it.
Download and install this cab file from your phone and restart.

That file would be kind of useless since i am using an O2 simcard atm. I've unlocked the phone so that it can be used on any network, but for some reason i cannot connect to GPRS, MMS or WAP. it says it cannot dial out when all the settings are correct. I've even downloaded and installed the settings from the O2 cab file from this forum but it still doesn't work.
Right now i have the 2.03 rom flashed XBMOD.

Which made me presume you wanted the settings for the Orange network.
Although there should be no problem with the radio you are using, XBmod suggests in his post using radio 1.09.25.23.
Have you tried changing the radio?
Radio Roms can be flashed from the device if renamed to DIAMIMG.nbh and you quickly hold down the "down volume key" and the <-- Back button when switching on the device.

Yah, i've just changed the radio to .23 but still nothing. I just can't get the thing to dial out! Is there a setting that i need to check to see if it's enabled or not? =s Its jsut annoying that i can't send MMS or use GPRS on the go.
At least you can use the phone! My problem is the opposite...unlocked using the Olinex method...I can use GPRS MMS etc, but I can't reciever any calls or SMS...
I'm on 3 in Australia, so while we're on different continents & our problems are almost oppposite...I feel ur pain!
i seem to be in the same boat.
purchased diamond (orange branded) on ebay, phone unlocked to work with vodafone ireland. no roms flashed or anything else.
settings got for vodfone isp & live! i have tried both but to no avail. when i try to go on the internet via opera or ie i get a proxy server error on opera and on ie 'the page cannot be displayed or downloaded because the connection was lost etc......'
i have noticed one thing though, on the modem settings when i input the username/password as advised by vodafone, when i go back in to check these settings there are more than the normal amount of * which would equate to the password - dont know if that even makes a difference.
does anyone have any idea

Was on Orange UK now unlocked and using my O2 sim.
I have an issue with HTC diamond , All of a sudden the mobile stopped working on my 3 simcard..i checked with other simcards as well but would not work on any network though i can manually search for it.
i unlocked it and worked fine without any problem for a month but now the phones do no more register to network, when i try manual search, networks are listed but i can not access them.
