but as we konw , there nothing could be perfect , the dialer of your rom seems not beautiful enough ~
could you please change it in you next rom - v5.3 ?

Newbie help

hi guyz....m very new to dis forum..so i need help...
i ve an O2 xda mini S... now ....i jus got it ...n i m expected to keep it for a while so i don wanna do anythin to it dat ll destroy it...
but i want an upgrade to WM6... i wanna no if its safe... n some1 please provide me wid orignial windows 6...not somethin some1 has made...m sure dey ve put alot of tym into deyr versions ...but i ll probably lyk da orig version best...
so if any1 has dese...
1. orig version of ROM for Xda mini S
2. Orig WM6, which has not been edited by any individual
3. And an opnion on whether it is safe or not...please help me out ...reply to dis thread of PM me....i ll definately owe u

1. You can find the original rom of your O2 to the internet at the page of the provider of the phone. Also take a look here.
2. It is very difficult & maybe impossible to find an untouched version of WM6 because there is not any official WM6 for the Wizard. You can take a look here for one of the cleanest WM6.1 roms.
3. It is safe only if you follow this guide letter by letter .
If you manage to CID/SIM unlock your phone I will suggest you to take a look at xda2_haseeb's & CRACING's threads. They are making great roms .-

Stupid Noob Over Here : What to start with ?

Hi, I'm new here, I bought myself a HD months ago , I doesn't know how to flash my rom yet .
I already read all the thread over here, search the noob thread and read the wiki page , I understood all of them , but the problem is, I don't know where to start ? Can anyone help me here ? Pleaaseee
my current rom version is 1.18.707.3 , radio 1.09.25.14
please do help me , thanks !

Well, if you've read all the threads and all the wiki and understood them, I'm surprised you need to know were to go now!!
Best place to start if your looking to flash a new rom, is to read up on the particular rom you want in its thread and then try it out. But if you've already read up on these you would surely already know that, no?
To flash any new rom or radio you gonna need either USPL or HSPL. Info on these in the wiki (which you've already read) and also in cRaCKwHoRe's guide in my signature.
The best way to know which is best suited for you is to read up on each and try them out!!

Hello,
Congrats ! and welcome to the club.
1. I would suggest you to Go through all the WIKI Documents to understand what is Flashing and other Technical Terms.
2. At least try to learn about HSPL, USPL, and Radio Etc.
3. After reading all this ask yourself whether you are comfortable syncing the Windows Mobile with your computer.
4. If you are ready, then really ask yourself whether you need to flash the Cooked Rom or better to stick with Shipped Rom.
If you made up your mind to go for Cooked Rom. All you need is to use HSPL or USPL and flash the desired cooked Rom.
Infact everyone was noob before they try including me… So cheers and Happy Flashing
Note: I preferred to use HSPL 1.56 and Dutty’s 3.3 cooked Rom.

i hava install a rom on my xperia ( old rom and now i wanna update it )
so can i insatll update on a custom rom ?
and if who can i downlode updates !!!

yes and no for update!!!
you can do a complete rom update of your X1 (flash a news custom rom but only if you have HARDSPL like said before) but this will erase all data in Phone memory.....
it is not possible to update like on PC with patches!!! (it is possible but no one does this ^^)

Hi, DoDo77, first a question from me: How old are you, that you can`t read the 10 sticky treads over yours ? You can read from flashing, HardSPL, look videos about your X1, have a link to the wiki and so on. What do you think, that many users take there time, to make this tuturials. Think about it and read befor write.

[Q] i realy need this advice

Hi all,first i want to thank ALL xda developers for this great forum,
i lost my htc(hermes100) while installing a new rom and there was only one solution which was the jtag, so now, i want to be careful with my HTC jade touch 3g.
my question is HOW can i Now if the ROM that i want to install is supported with my SPL/RADIO ?
I'm using WM6.1 and i want to install WM6.5( this one )
My config:
JADE100 64
SPL-2.32 oliNex
Microp-Jade(LED) v5

as per ur info i can see that u have done HSPL
so u can flash any cooked or stock rom u want and yes the one u have mentioned too but id say try this one it is more recent than the one u have given Link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=858412
and if u want to go back to the original rom look in the rom link base thread u have all req original stock rom links in the same thread or just got to shippedroms.com and u can find all original stock roms for all HTC phones
