help me plz... Thanks

Er, buddy your posting in a forum filled with 6.5 ROMS for X1. There is no official 6.5 ROM for X1 though.

Its like what intratech replied,
You can find many WinMo 6.5 ROM in this section, Most of the ROM Support XPERIA Panel, there are some ROM which doesnt support Panel, but the panel manager are the one for X1
Im not sure if there are any ROM with WinMo6.5 and X2 Panel manager yet

winmo 6.5 for the xperia ?

Hi guys, this is more a theoretical question than anything else, triggered by the BlueAngel wm6.5 rom that has just been made available for download...
Do you guys think that Xperia will receive an official update to wm6.5 and later wm7?
also is an official rom needed in order for you awesome cooks to come up with wm6.5 and later wm7 roms?
Just wandering. I'd love to see that the xperia (being one of the most advanced winmo devices at this stage) will still be usable when new OSs show up.
There is an X1 / WM6.5 discussion here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=473381

Newbie need s help in decision ...

Hey Guys, as I posted in X1 Forum Crack Complaint Thread I got my repaired x1 returned an they resettet it and ****.
Now I am wondering which kind of Rom in German for the latest win mobile including the newest feature for the x1 would be the right one for me. SOrry but I have abolutley no Idea. ANd what is this Manila doing ;-/^^
thanxx in advance
ok manila is just a port of htcs interface for their phone people ported it because it looks awesome as you can see from screen shots
if you want 6.5 but dont want manila there are some "clean roms", if you want manila there are a few in this section explore and find the one that suits your needs if you are going to flsh make sure to hard-spl first
if you dont need all this just use sony ericsson's updater
check out gtrab's rom library thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=477801
i'm not sure when it was last updated, new roms are released every day, so it's not right up to date, but certainly a good place to start.

WHat do you mean ? I can update to wm 6.5.1 via sony update legally ?
i don't think rex922 meant that, as wm6.5 is not released for the xperia yet
sony ericsson update service will upgrade your rom to the latest officially released version of wm for xperia (still 6.1)
if you want 6.5 or 6.5.1, you need to flash a custom rom

Please help me with my X1

Hi!
I really like the windows mobile 6.5 today screen and the start menu and i want them to run on my 6.1... I know that i can use hard-spl and then install a pure 6.5 rom, but i don't want to mess with my warranty, considering i have 2 years left. So i wonder if there is some application or anything that makes it possible for me to get these functions on my 6.1...
ps... i just installed the x2 panel manager on my 6.1 and with it came the original x2 panels, execpt the today screen... And i saw on pictures that a x1 windows mobile 6.1 ran the windows mobile 6.5 today screen, so it's possible... It's only a matter of finding the files Here's the link btw:http://www.xperiax1.net/forum/developers-downloads/5393-x2-goodies-tilewave-panel-experiment-13-game-new-panel-manager-more.html
Best regards//

anybody?? plz
What you are asking is impossible. If you want 6.5 style start menu you must flash a 6.5 ROM. There are a bunch of built-in dependencies.
If you want an HTC start menu (Which is a very pretty alternative for 6.1 then flash a TF3D (Manila) based 6.1 ROM.
As far as I know there is no cabbed solution for what you are asking. Sorry. Read up on flashing, Hard-SPL, and restoring Soft SPL, and you can safely switch to custom ROMS and revert back to stock if you need to send it in for warranty work. If you do this please read and understand the instructions in the Wiki and/or the Stickies before you attempt.
Good Luck and happy flashing!
you can't change the wm shell without changing to a wm6.5 rom
but maybe you can use http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/products/pocketpc/WisBarAdvanceDesktop/
and find a skin which looks kinda like wm6.5
but mind you desktop advanced will be running on top of wm6 and would slow the device down a bit
Okey, i thought it was possible considering that gtrab converted and made it possible for us to use the xperia x2 panel manager and all the other panels...
But i guess i was wrong, thanks for your help. Much appriciated

Xperia X2 ROM -> X1

I watched that someone in youtube has upgraded his X1 ROM to XPERIA X2 ROM.
Has someone here do the same thing?
Please let me know which one X2 ROM is available to be ported to X1.
p.s: plz do not recommend me with customized or pure WM6.5.x, I am not interested. Thank you.

Well, your question is a bit contradictional. If you want a X2 ROM on your X1 you'll have to flash a customized wm6.5 ROM.
Because you can't directly flash a X2 ROM to X1 without porting it to X1.
Look for the X2 port from jerpelea.

Well I see,
I mean that I want an original X2 ROM (without any 3rd party application addition customized by any chef) that trully like original X2 ROM (MR2 Hopefully).
But it seems impossible?
I've tried 2 ROMs from Energy but it looks like HTC Phone too much
I've tried 7 ROMs from x869 but it is not customized like HTC more
I've tried 2 Barebone ROMs from Gtrab, I also don't feel X2 things inside
I think jerplea x2 rom is the most accurate for your needs. I've tried it and it is really nice. it doesn't have any htc stuff. the only downside is jerplea stopped the dev because of his broken x1. you should give it a try

Okay, since I am frustated of searching and you two has suggested it.
I give a try.
Thank you for replies.

hi
not exactly sure if I understand your request as intended:
There are no original 6.5.X roms for X1, only 6.1. So every 6.5.X rom available for X1 is ported and customized. The amount of customization depends on the chef, so simply check the rom descriptions in the rom dev section and pic one that suits your needs in terms of appearance and incorporated applications. I think you should focus on titles containing "lite", "pure", "clean" or similar together with the wm build you want.
Best,
DK

Nor for the X2. Or Android 2.2 for the X10, X10 mini and X8.
