Looking for some advice here on my girlfriends Herald.
The phone was interrupted while flashing JustStableV2 Build 8 (flash from SD-Card method).
Now the phone doesn't power up anymore, so i can NOT get into the bootloader. Are there any options left, like JTAG?
Any help is appreciated.

Is this really possible? That the phone doesn't power on after a aborted flash?
Returning to provider the only option left?
Still hoping for a miracle
Power up
when i plug my wing in at the top of the wing it flashs red while i hold powerbutton what does that mean?
FIXED
@hankm24 I really have no idea. Mine didn't flash at all.
The phone is fixed now by sending it to Vodafone and they repaired it for free
They obviously reflashed to stock ROM, but the also replaced the backboard under the battery. They also told me that the device has a new IMEI number, but looking at the settings screen is still shows the old one
It doesn't matter as long as it is working
mine is for tmobile and they wont replace it for free which sucks so it wont even turn on anymore
Hi all,
I accidentally loaded an AT&T ROM onto my Galaxy S. Now, I cannot boot it to downloader mode to flash another ROM. Anyone can advise?
Everytime, it boots into the AT&T splash screen and the screen turns on and off ... regardless of the key combo I used.
Thanks.
try volume up+volume down + power buttons
instead of power+volumen up+home buttons
No go. Tried alot of different combinations and the phone just won't go into downloader mode. Worse is the phone absolutely refuse to boot up once it is plugged in (whether USB or charger). When it's plugged in, it will not even display the battery charging icon.
When not plugged in, it will only boot to the AT&T splash screen and then goes into an endless loop of showing the screen and showing a black screen.
Think I have absolutely bricked the phone. I need advise. Can Samsung reflash the phone if I bring it in? I am willing to pay for them to do so. Or must the whole motherboard be replaced? If the latter, I am not willing to do so as getting a new phone will cost much cheaper (I still have a line I can recontract)
Bump. Anyone?
Welcome to the club; there's no solution yet

try this, i read from else where...
Let the bricked phone turn on, let it go into the stuck screen.
after a very looooooooong while, it will turn itself back off
after that, use the 3 button combination to turn it back into the DOWNLOAD mode
hold Volume Down + hold Home + hold Power
2 sec later should go directly to the Download Mode screen

can you get into the Download mode?
if you can then it's easy with Odin
anyone able to fix this problem or get back to download mode
I bought the phone back to Samsung and they also cannot do anything. In the end, they changed the whole motherboard. Thankfully, they did it under warranty.
Hi everyone
I just got my old Dream out of the basement today to try and see if it still worked. I powered it on and it booted into the Android 1.5 that was on it. Then after entering my new WiFi the battery died and once I plugged it in and charged it until the LED was green, it got stuck booting at the Rogers screen when I tried to turn it on again. It won't boot into anything now. Holding power with camera to get into bootloader doesn't work, holding power with home to get into recovery doesn't work. They all just stay at the Rogers logo no matter how long you hold the buttons for.
Does anybody have an idea of what's going on?
I have a moto X with a shattered screen and broken digitizer that I'm about to send in to Motorola. Is there a way to backup sms and stuff from the phone via usb fastboot or adb? debugging was not enabled when the phone took a tumble, but it turns on and i can get pictures and stuff off the device. Trying to boot back to fastboot or recovery hasnt been working for me since I can only hold the power button until it shuts off and i dont know when to hold the buttons down to get it back on :/
Thanks for any help!
I recently found my old Bionic in my nightstand drawer and wanted to see what was on it. It was locked by a pattern lock which apparently I didn't remember correctly and it's not accepting my Google login. I went to the phones menu (power and volume down buttons) but somehow I got it stuck in AP Flashboot screen. I can't get it out of that screen and if I let it boot normally then I am locked out. Is there any way to still get to the data off the phone or get it unlocked so I can see if it's even worth it?
Thanks all.
