Ive had this weird problem with my x1,im a flashaholic i flash new radios and roms almost whenever they are released.ive flashed radio from 1.10 to 1.4 then 1.16 and now recently a few days ago i flashed 1.7 radio that was posted in these forums.i moved from 1.7 to 1.10 cause i think that's the most battery efficient radio and that's when **** got fuked up.
I'm a heavy txter and more than half of my txts randomly gives me error in a few minutes when i send them it gives an error YOUR TEXT MESSAGE CANNOT BE SEND. Ive thoroughly checked on different networks and cellphones but its the xperia which is having the problem.
I didn't messed with that rillophone.dll or whatever, just flashed the radios.I always do hard resets b4 and after rom and radio flashes and i still cant seems to find out what is the problem anyone who can help me with this? will appreciate it

I tried flashing WM6 on my QTEK 2020, but I had the wrong version. I begun the upgrade having it on bootloader and after a while an error about updating radio occured. Now, my PPC powers up, but it gets stuck on the beginning with the "QTEK" logo with the clouds and the blue led that indicates the bluetooth is activated. Neither soft nor hard reset does anything and I can't flash the original rom through bootloader (I can boot the PPC in bootloader).
Does anyone have any idea please?
If you posted this in the Qtek2020 (Himalaya) forum, you might get a quicker response.
Thread moved out of the BA section
Maybe you should try reflashing. Just flashing a new ROM and then just a radio might do the trick.
How did you flash? With the No_ID?
And what were you trying to flash? A BA ROM while you have a HIMA?
OK!
It's ok now! I flashed the WM6 Rom having my PPC on bootloader and everything's fine!
Its very good to hear that..btw which rom did u flash before and what have u flashed now
I really can't remember what the previous rom was, but it was for another brand! It was stupid to flash that one! The one I have now is this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=332945
But I have a problem. The PPC restarts randomly even if I do nothing with it. I haven't overclocked it.
It is not got sign, if your PPC restarts randomly. Better you flash it again.
I flashed again the ROM from "Himalaya Mobile 6" category and the following link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=332945
but my PPC keep restarting and one more thing, WM6 kills my battery! I've got to charge it every day, before I charged it every 3-4 days. Does anyone have any idea what I should do? Can I put WM2003 now?
Hmmm... I'm using the 7c ROM from that page with no problems at all.
Did have some issues with some older apps and the config for TomTom when I switched to WM6, but not anymore.
What do you have installed, and what versions?
I have installed nothing but WM6!
Lately I've been having trouble connecting thru wifi. I went to the wifi settings, under Network Adapter and when I select the wifi adapter I see that's set for server assigned IP, but in the field below this there's this weird numbers (fe80::218:41ff:fe2) instead of the IP.
Is anybody else having this problem?
I've been able to get rid of this by Hard resetting a couple of times, but it's a hassle having to re-install & configure everything.
I got my unit second-hand a couple of weeks ago, everything was fine till I changed the SPL from 1.0 Olipro to 3.28 Hard. Since then I've flashed 3.29 & 3.56 Hard, same problem, like I said before a Hard Reset fixes this for a while.
Today I flashed HTC rom 3.34.721.2 & radio 1.70.19.09 and all was fine. A while later I noticed the same weird "IP".
I've read in some threads here people reporting trouble or lossing their wifi, but I've never read of an answer or the reason for this identified.
So...anybody have an Idea?
It does display such a thing when on server assigned IP indeed, but it works just fine that way, wouldn't call it a "problem".
Is your ROM a WM6.1 one? If it's 6.0 as might be since you had HardSPL 1.0 and don't say you changed ROM, you should leave HardSPL 1.0. The 3.x versions are for WM6.1 only.
EDIT: I just read the line where you say you flashed another ROM and it works - that emphasizes my thought that your previous ROM was 6.0 and you flashing the not compatible 3.x SPLs broke WiFi connection and other things like the 3G display that didn't work. Now you flashed a 6.1 ROM and it's fine again as it's OK with the SPL you have now.
Actually my ROM was WM 6.1
If you'd read my signature you'd find that my old ROM (3.28.405.0 WWE) & my new ROM (3.34.721.2 WWE) are both WM 6.1. That's why I wanted to update my Hard SPL in the first place.
My wifi started acting up when I updated the Hard SPL. Now I flashed the latest HTC WM 6.1 ROM & I haven't had any more trouble with my wifi. (At least for now)
Thanks
I have the same problem tried re-flashing with new spl and new roms but no joy. It began while I was on stock rom from orange tried to flash to dutty xtreme 2.1 problem still there.
Now I have kept the custom rom and reflashed to spl 1.14 stock and problem is still there. My wifi seems permanantly messed up. In the IP box I have fe80::218:41ff:fec6
Please someone help.
I tripped over my usb cable while flashing an official orange rom + radio version a few months ago, and bricked my trinity. Left it on a shelf for ages & decided to try to revive it a few days ago.
The problem was that the thing kept hanging after the splash screen, all the backlights would go on and it would hang. I managed to splxploit it to get hardspl back on there (olipro 1.3) & successfully flashed a few OS roms from here but it still hung on the (now different) splash screen. Realised that the 'No GSM' thing was a killer, so tried reflashing a few radio versions, and that worked fine as far as the flash was concerned through USB / HSPL.
However, it still says 'No GSM' and hangs at boot. Any ideas? I've run all the tasks from mtty with spl-1.30lipro, the CID shows the HTC SuperCID(hex) etc successfuly, and it formats the OS portion successfuly. Task 2a, like with others, just returns a new prompt after a second or so.
I've got radio 1.56.70.11 on there apparently. It still says 'No GSM', although this goes away a lot quicker now, whereas before it would hang with that on the screen...
Help?? Should I throw it in the bin?
Thanks a lot, any help is much appreciated...
Nik
you've killed the radio BL in that case, bad timing on your part, sadly it's unrecoverable.
the only fix is desoldering the radio chip and soldering a new one in.
Have you tried whith the version 1.20? The version 1.30 gives some trouble flashing the radio
same problem...no way for me in this moment!
do you solve?
flash with hard-spl 1.20 ou crash'n'proof... then try again... it works with me

Definately, don't throw it away. It's still worth $$$. A lot of people can use it for parts if you don't get it working. Offer it up for sale on here if that's the case.

hi you know radio bl? any schematic to know.. im curios whats does it look like,?
I just flashed my Diamond with the: RUU_Diamond_HTC_NOR_2.03.409.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.51.25.26_1.09.25.23_Ship.exe
I'm an norwegian that's in the US studying, so they only gave me the norwegian version. Anyways, everything worked fine until flash, but now my phone refuses to register on the network (AT&T)!
Took the sim-card back to the at&t nokia phone, worked the first time...
I really wants to use my Diamond instead of the crappy nokia, but it would be a shame to downgrade to 1.93 (which worked just fine...).
Someone, please have a solution for me?
simply install a new radio....try 1.00.25.07 that seems to be the only quadband radio..
(you have to flash an hspl before)
It's stuck on 0% and won't continue... Tried several roms :-/
no service?????
is there a soution to this no network problem
THERE IS A CROSS IN THE RECEPTION BAR AND WHEN YOU DIAL OUT IT SAYS "OPERATION FAILED"
any replies appreciated
Quite bad if the official RUU more or less bricks the device, at least turns into just a little computer
It screwed up my Diamond aswell The gprs is completely dead, been up all night trying to fix it, several hard resets etc, nothing helps... if it was a cooked rom I could tolerate it but official roms screwing up our phones this easily pisses me off.
Mine worked again, with the old 1.93 rom!!
What the hell did they do to 2.03? I suppose the radio rom is different at least... But I couldn't change to the old radio when I had 2.03, tried using the HardSpl...
Is it possible to flash _once_ with everything from 2.03, but the 1.00.25.05 radio (which is the one from 1.93)? Doing it sequentually doesn't work.
So what I did, as the final solution:
Flash with stock 2.03 rom
HardSPL
Flash with 1.05.25 radio
Works perfect!
Hmm i did the other way round with my o2 XDA Diamond (1.93 Stock)
1. Hard SPL
2. New Radio Rom (1.09.25.23)
3. 2.03 official Ger HTC Rom (without vendor lock)
works great as well
I've seen this issue a couple of times too. With 1.93 as well as with 2.03. Did not figure out what was the cause but never had a chance to bring the device back to life with some uninstallation or radio flash. I always went back to the SPB Backup from the night before it stopped working propperly.
I decided to flash my radio to the latest 1.11.25.76. The update was going fine until it reached 99%. Then it suddenly came up with an error. So it unplugged my phone and took the battery out and rebooted the phone. Everything was fine. I went to setting and checked the radio version and it HAD updated to the latest version. My question is, why did this error occur, and has it FULLY patched it to the latest version? Also what are the main advantages of updating the radio?
Thanks

Did you hard-spl?
Sometimes this happen but it flashes ok...The second time you do it...
Advantages:
Radio may or may not improve your battery and other stuff like getting better reception in wi-fi gps and radio signal (cellphone signal)....
I can tell you for me the better radio is 1.11.25.71....
What it depends....On many things...
Try to flash again and you will see no problem to 100%...
There is a radio thread also find it and get studing....
thanks alot
and yes i did hard-spl, Im using itje's touch-it so i needed to hard-spl before i flashed it. Just gonna try out different radio's as my signal seems to have gotten worse (1 or 2 bars atm!!!), used to get full signal in my house.
