It costs money? I had it installed a while back and every now and then it tells me to update, but it brings me to the market and says the app doesnt exist, and it doesnt come up on search, idc cuz I have it already tho.

I do not think he is asking for warez, I think he was asking if anyone has the free version that was on the Market before the paid version came out and it was removed. I have a back up of the last free release, but it looks like someone already posted it.
That said, since it was the free version, I don't think that it is considered warez, is it ?
Also, I have to agree... 10 bucks for an AIM client is lame. Is it even legal to charge for an AIM client since it uses AOL's protocols and network ? At the worst the dev most likely used libpurple/pidgin's reverse engineering work for TOC/OSCAR, and just wrapped that with a UI.

Guys and Gals,
I've installed Bluex and works perfect with PC and other G1, not with Iphone (Stupid apple )
But I was wondering if I could pull it from my phone. Now I've found something but am not sure is that's the one, or it is anything in that matter.

I think you're asking if you can uninstall Bluex from your phone? Or are you trying to "back up" a paid app? I'm confused as to what you're trying to accomplish. BTW, Bluex is a paid app, don't post the apk here.

If you were to get permission from [email protected] who develops the app, I'm sure the folks here would be glad to assist. Since he is charging for it though, I don't see this as very likely.

Are you serious? This is really retarded.. I've gotten 10 dollar apps for free here that are formated into apk files.. Either this website has rules for that certain thing, or I am misunderstanding what is allowed & what isnt overall. Can someone explain this too me?

I've been using this site since my Tmobile winmo phone (atleast 3 years ago) and there has always been the stipulation of no warez/paid apps/etc...
What you have gotten, might have been something illegally posted before a mod can check it. Just because some people can't/don't read doesn't mean the site condones pirating.
If you want to pirate or assist in searching for pirated apps, do it somewhere else. We love this forum and don't want it messed up by cheapo's not willing to spend a buck!

Distributing a paid app to others for free is called piracy or warez. It is illegal and therefor not allowed here. Also being that this is a forum for developers, spreading around paid apps to other for free around here will get you some heavy negative attention.

How can I pay for apps without a credit card, not only am I not old enough to own a credit card. If I had one, and knew I could get apps for free I wouldn't pay. Why waste bills?

Well it's against forum rules to offer paid apps for free. Which is exactly what you are doing.
Also, this forum is full of developers, myself included, who do this for a goddamn living. We'd appreciate you not spreading this crap around.

You see on of XDA's major rule is no warez, king's thread was locked cause of quickoffice and that's nothing. The site or admins could be in hot water for distributing paid software.

@xseoman Warez aren't supported by XDA, you should read the Rules, anyway of promoting cracked apps are not allowed.

Yes,you are right but...I think that if people wants cracked apps etc he will get it. So everything is up to them. Yes, that app gives opportunity to download cracked apps but lot of people don't do that because it's wrong. And I use that app only to check that it's worth to buy.if not I delete it. Hope u understand my text
P.s WiFikill should also be removed because theres possibility that some people use it for bad things.
But as I said it's only opportunity...

In my understanding it is not warez, apps are free, for example wifi-kill, it depends from country whether its using is legal or not.
I found that program very usefull.

You can block ip addresses on the wifi you are on so you will get faster internet speeds.
