This is probably a stupid noob question, but I have been looking for an answer for probably an hour now. I have WM6.5, with teh Windows defualt home screen. The one with the order from today/phone/status/weather/settings......
I want to know how I can change this around, to maybe clock/weather/phone/etc.....
I have tried messing around with the CHome Editor, but its doesn't seem to be taking the changes. I am using TPC_v11_Kaiser_loaded rom.

Hey everyone,
Im using an old DUtty's rom (he hasnt made any in a while). I am wanting to flash with something new, but just about every one of the roms these days seem to be Manilla.
My question is, what is it like? at first glance i dont really like the idea of it.

i really like it, im using garmins with the opal dialer, easily customized with all the skins out there, (see development and hacking), much more useful to me than htc home, which i guess got old, just like the cube. my two cents,

What about how it lists emails/sms's? does it just use that silly preview where u have ot go through each one? or can you open it to list the emails?

Alright, so I use the HTC Home plugin with the home customizer and I love it as far as a basic, simple UI. I updated to the official WM 6.1 ROM about 4 or 5 months ago with absolutely no problems. One day, I noticed the actual music tab disappeared and wouldn't come back up no matter what. No big deal, I can deal without it. Now today my favorite contacts tab just disappeared. I can't seem to bring it back at all. I've removed and added it a bunch of times and still no dice, it's not appearing. So basically my question is should I just uninstall and reinstall the HTC Home plug-in or is this a common problem that people are having with the update? Just seeing what everyone has to say.

Im going to bump my own post, just to ask another question. I can't figure out that Home tab issue so I'll ask a completely unrelated question. I installed SCLPF cube and I can't figure out how to pull it up, haha. The simplest thing. I have the setting and everything tweaked but I just can't figure out how to get the cube to appear. Any suggestions?
the music tap is made by hhc when you delete it the mucic tape will be removed
Hey i have the ATT Tilt and i just finally updated my rom from the HTC site for the Tilt to WM 6.1. It took me awhile to switch cause i was used to and happy with what i had with the WM 6.0 and also afraid to screw up my phone. Well i finally did it and it works fine but my question is...is there away to customize the HTC Home on the today screen? When i had my phone at WM 6 i dl the HTC home plug in and HTC home customizer so i can change how the them of the HOME is and also take some buttons away like the music button that i dont use. And also with the customizer i edited so i can have my weather button work because it doesnt have my city in the list. So basically im asking can i dl the HTC customizer that i had from WM 6.0 and use it for WM 6.1 on the HTC Home that it came with? Or is there something else i need?
And i know im gonna get flack but yes i did search the forum and its hard to find exactly what im looking for since everyone has there own version of WM 6.1 and im just using the official one from the HTC site so i want to make sure that i get the right answer and doesnt screw up my phone!

You need to search more, weather question I replied in another tread just the other day. Solution is to use http://www.accuweather.com whit your closest city There are alot of info on exactly how you do this somewhere already. For the HTC Home there could not be a cab more discussed I belive.. Really, search. Thats the way you learn as you will bump into alot of other question and solution on other stuff on the way. Just in case you only grow 1/2 a pair, yes it will work on 6.1.

Hi guys, I just got my HTC pure a few days ago, and I'm trying to customize it. However I'm kinda a beginner at this, so I was hoping you guys would be kind enough help me with them. I have a series of question and any help is welcome.
1. How do I rotate the Manila screen? I had the TD2 tools install and it works on some programs. I think lyriquidperfection had already given the answer for this but I cant seem to find it. And if you're kind enough, please tell me how the programs work, coz there's no instruction anywhere.. BTW, the enable manila screen in the TD2 doesn't work and I have Manila 2.1.19183217.0 which the forum said should be able to rotate.
2. I cant get Manila to work with programs like S2P or Mircosoft Word, which is unusual since there programs support landscape view , any help with that?
3. I heard there a way for you to put shortcuts into Home tab, how do you do this? And can you change the background picture of other tabs other than just the home tab and the start menu?
4. At&T sent me a text said that I have to choose a data plan or they will choose one for me, which is a bummer. They changed the regulation in September and I didnt know anything about it. They should've sent mail to all customers about this. They didn't even tell me anything when I upgraded my phone until after the Sim card was activated. Anyway, is there a way to get out of this? if not, I read in the forum there a way for you to use your phone as a modern unnotice by AT&T, is this true?
5. Is there a way for the phone to rotate in more than the 2 default directions? When I check the G-sensor, it detects all directions.
6. The last one is flash ROM, there a ROM in this forum that the guys was able to make the Manila Screen Rotate sideway, and he got the music player rotates too. But I dont really like the look of the whole display. So my question is can I install a ROM and use only parts of it functions while left the others the way it is? And Do you think Flashing ROM is a better solution than using TD2 for G-sensor rotation?

3) Shortcuts in Manila home screen is a feature of Manila 2.5. You would have to flash to a ROM using this version. It is possible to have the same image in all tabs using one of two methods. Either with bg4alltabs or with HDWall. Search the forum to learn more.
I can't help much with your other questions as most are rotate based and i don't bother with that!
Thanks DirkGently1 for responding . I actually solved number 1, 2, and 5 which are all about rotation. I edited the registry of some programs and used G-config for the rest. Somehow it worked like a charm. For some reasons TD2 Tools didn't seem to work on my phone. For #6, it turned out I have to unlock my phone to be able to Flash ROM and I'm just happy with the way my phone is now so maybe in the future. Still #4, does anyone knows how to get out of the data plan?
