E65
Nokia E65 has sms stored in memory and not sim and doesn't have the option to move sms to sim card!!
try jeyo mobile extender. it supports WM and Symbian OS.
it will move your sms into an outlook account
then u can move your sms from the pc to the device

Thanks Karim099 for your suggestion, I almost believed it would work when I tried and downloaded their trial version. Installed on PC and finally when I had to install the agent on my Nokia, it didn't work! :-( It says "unsupported". The one I have is Symbian OS v3 and I guess they don't support v3 yet!
Any other solutions? Need to copy my sms to the new phone...
You can use Nokia PC Suite and sync to your Microsoft Outlook, all the contact from your Nokia will be in your Outlook contact. Later you use Microsoft active sync to sync to your Windows Mobile device. I believe that Nokia PC Suite supports E65.
Sorry guys wrong post...

honestly never had the opportunity to test this out on symbian but they mention on the website:
New in Version 2.5
* Outlook 2007 and Windows Vista compatibility
* Synchronization of text message inbox sub-folders
* Printing
* Texting to distribution lists
* Outlook-style new message notification
* Support for Symbian S60/UIQ
* Support for feature phones including popular Motorola, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung phones
btw. i just seen the download section, there are different versions for every OS. so u shld install the version suporting symbian first ... then windows second.. i guess
Right!

You are right
They didn't mention what versio of Symbian S60 they support. However, I tried and downloaded their trial version on my Nokia E65 and it said "Unsupported".
I figured that their version does not support Symbian S60 V3 as my Nokia E65 is Symbian S60 V3.
So I am still looking around the net, googling for a solution
Have you found a solution yet? I need to bring back my phone for warranty purposes, so I will use my N95 again.
no
No gave up
Until expanding the memory on the WM side is possible, would someone be able to create a completely Bare-bones ROM with only the essentials and where everything else can be installed if the user wants... i'm thinking of:
* WM Player
* Office
* Games
* Redundant themes
* Snapvue
* Windows Live
* Windows Messenger
etc...
This would allow users the flexibility to maximise the space they have for whatever they need...
I'd dearly love to learn how to do this myself, but am too busy planning my wedding at the moment to be able to dedictate enough time to it... will happily donate to a ROM that meets these needs though.
Also, how difficult is getting the 480 x 800 working?
Did anyone get the Facebook IM app to work on the Energy Leo Rom?
I uninstalled it and downloaded the latest cab from mosko.mobi and it worked for one day only
The FIM Current Version:2.3.5.6 is the cab i downloaded??
|R|6.5.5|ROM|WWE| ★ Energy "Leo" 23529/21892 |Feb 16| ★ Sense 2.5.2012 / MaxManila ★
Any ideas?? I really liked this app a lot for using Facebook IM.
The ROM however is very cool and i love it!!!!
Thanks guys and any ideas are appreciated!
a) this shouldn't be in the rom development forum. Should be in the apps forum.
B) don't use FIM but the rom your using comes with palringo which supports facebook chat so why don't you use that instead?
Oh ok cool, I will move it to the correct forum. I dont like palringo, used to use it alot.
Thanks for your help!!

first hi, and welcome to the site
second, i think the first thing that you have to do is upgrade your phone to wm 6.5.3, then the app that you search is Fim...

So I found out that you can still use old versions of AIM. You know... those awesome versions that were so great before AIM decided to upgrade the UI and screw everything up!!!!!!!
If you still use your AIM post your name and I'll add you. I need people to chat with on there.... Everyone on my friend's list is dead...
If you wanna download an older version of aim you can do it here..... my suggestion is don't go below version 4.7....
