Currently I'm running HTC Home, and the date is displayed as 11/4/09. I want to add the day in the front (i.e. Wed 11/4/09). Please help!

I was wondering if it is possible to changing the date format in the Notification bar so it spells out the day so instead of it being for today 01/06/2011, it would say Wednesday June 1, 20011. I know there is a time and date feature in the settings but it doesn't give this format as an option. Thanks.
I am on the Continuum 2.3.3 Rom.

Hi .. just curious on this one.
If you pull down the quick notification area on the top left area there is the time, day and date info displayed.
Just curious to know if there is anyway to change the date format here? I have changed the system date format to date, month but it's showing as month, date instead on this area. Others are ok.
Thanks a bunch!!

It can't be change while rooted your device.
you might be disasemble framework.apk and change xml properties connecting notifications date format.
Thanks .. I guess I'll just stick to the current format.
But strange why the date format is not universal across the device.
If that weren't working before, maybe 2 month ago, I would think that it is by design, but it was. So:
The Quicklaunch shortcuts (from navigation bar, when you hold the bottom center of the screen and you get half-circle with programmed shortcuts) does not work on a Lockscreen. They work only when unlocked.
Also, there's no " ^ " sign which was on Lockscreen on the bottom center and camera icon on bottom right.
Build from 05/03.
That is different than my 20140304 build on Nexus 5. What device? What build source and date? What was the last build that works for you?

Xperia ZL (odin), nightly build from 20140305. The last build where Quicklaunch worked - maybe 1 week ago or smth. As far as I know Active Display broke something and made navigation buttons visible on Lockscreen, that happened about 2 months ago, however Quicklaunch worked (when long pressing or sliding up from Home button). Since the build from 3 days ago navigation buttons were removed from Lockscreen (they don't have to be there for sure), but Quicklaunch also gone. Quicklaunch works when unlocked from Home button, but I suppose it also should be from " ^ " sign on Lockscreen.
Hello,
Could someone please advise how I can change the setting to display Weekday on my HTC One Screen. As you can see from the attached Screenshot, I can only see Time, Date, Place.
Many Thanks...
Harish
Don't have the device with me now so I can't tell you the exact steps, but try going to Options, Date and Time (or something like that), there's an option there to change the date format to day/date/month
Hi all,
Feels like this should be simple but I can't find the answer anywhere. How do I change the date format on my S10? Right now it's using MM/DD/YYYY and I much prefer using DD/MM/YYYY. Date and time menu only gives me an option for changing between 12/24-hour format, and auto/manual time.
Using OneUI 1.1 from July.
Thanks!
