Can anyone suggest an app on the market similar to the hero's footprints app. For those who dont know, it geo tags your pics and then places them on the map.

A guy like me prefers a diffrent sort of app campaign than most ppl
On my tytn.. before it went for a swim i had app along these lines:
Emulators
Media player close to Winamp.. Gps player or sumthin like that, it was capable of streaming internet radio was well as playing mp3's
Instant messenger program.. i was using octrotalk because it was free and offer many of the same features of Im+ and Agile messenger. although i woudl have liked the send picture feature that Agile has!
Google Maps... with the Kaisers GPS i cant imagine how sweet It'll be
Alternate camera App.. i forgot what mine was called but it booted up much faster and offered a couple more options that the stock camera app
Java and Flash for Internet Browsing
Finally tons of custom Today screens and Dial pads.. i wasnt to into the lakeridge software apps because they required me to pay, and they ran off of my windows mobile OS as a completly diffrent OS (almost)... but the dial pads i found at zombienexus were pretty sweet
If anyone has gone ahead and found their favorite apps along these lines for their Kaiser i would apreciate it if they could post this findings for me and the rest of the forum users!

Does anyone else play this game? Anyone got an app for it?
i'm shure there's no app for it, but if we could have sours codes of it ( php, flash, html, images) so it's possible to port it for smal screen, and any way you can play in your browser
I am running KingxKxROM and i noticed the HTC Flash player app while browsing BetterCut and creating an activity shortcut. I made the shortcut and then tried to launch it from the home screen and I keep getting force closes.
1) can this app be independently launched?
2) can this app play adobe shockwave flash objects?
3) can this app play .flv file formatted videos?
I had a Nokia 5610 and it had Flashlite 2.1 and was able to play some shockwave flash objects files but due to its low memory it could only do smaller files and such.
I was wondering if this HTC flash player can do the same. If so, can some one tell me how?
I don't think it's an app to be launched by itself, but through the browser. It comes with most hero builds, and only works on Hero builds

Yeah I believe it is for browser use only. Like if a webpage uses javascript like YouTube, You can watch the video from the actual website & not have to have it open up the YouTube app. That is just one example though. If I am wrong someone please correct me.
Does anyone know if a wallpaper is available that allows you to apportion areas of the screen to launch an app, ie an office background, touching the clock opens the clock app, the desk opens your office app, etc? I assume it's possible with live wallpapers that interact with touch?

I don't think you can do this with a wallpaper/live wallpaper, but you can do it by using Desktop Visualizer. (In the Market)
Once you've download the app, you can use the DVRSizeConfigTool (in the Market) and the Image-Crop tool to create a cool looking portioned out screen with different widgets. It's kind of hard to explain, but once you watch the video, you'll see what I'm talking about. The process is pretty confusing, but I was able to do it using a tutorial on YouTube. I hope this is what you were thinking of..
Edit: I don't have enough posts to be able to post links, but if you PM me, I will send you the link to the YouTube video tutorial. You can also search "How To Use DVR Image Crop - Desktop VisualizeR" in YouTube and the video is by 'biipub'.
Look at "Launcher Wall" in the market.
I haven't actually used it, but it can launch apps apparently.
Thanks guys, I think either one of these will suit, just gonna have to pick which one....

Hi,
I take a a lot of photos for business and need to tag them to find. Samsung gallery has a great keyword tagging feature. Unfortunate it must store those keywords in a non-standard place because no other Android/windows app can see those tags. I need a way to tag photos that will be searchable on other devices and with other apps.
Does anybody know where those tags are stored and if there are other apps that search & tag in the same place?
Or does anyone else have this need and found an app that works for them?
Thanks,
Al
I've spent countless hours tagging pics in the gallery presuming they would transfer over to my windows pc. Today I realized I wasted so much of my life it's just devastating.

Hmm, is there some solution to this?
I too want to use tags manually added or automatically generated by Samsung gallery app even after photo export to the PC.
Currently I have installed F-Stop app gallery which can store tags to photos properly, but is unable to populate tags automatically and it is just inconvenience to use both gallery apps together.
