I cannot see slacker in the market. I bought the phone in Taiwan, so I guess my market is set to that. Does anyone have the .apk I can install directly ????

Ok, I know the amazon mp3 store is currently only available to t-mobile US customers but is there a way to install this app to an unloacked htc magic? Is there a url that we can go thru with the browser and download & install directly..?
UPDATE: Found it here and this worked fine. Sorry guys, DEV's, if you want to delete this go right ahead unless you think it will help anyone get the amazon mp3 store app on their HTC magic. It worked for me and it puts your mp3 right on the sd card with albulm art which can be accesed thru the HTC music player. Pretty sweet!

Does anyone know of a way to get and a.m. sports radio stations on the g1? I checked all the free radio apps in the market and tried looking at google to see if I could find anything but I had no luck... any help would me appreciated. Thanks
Stream Center is the answer
Go here from your mobile browser. http://www.thestreamcenter.com/pda/ You can find most local stations, AM & FM in your city. Good Luck.
Thanks. I checked that out and found the radio station I was looking for but it would download a music or video file then tell me it couldn't be played.
Try "A Online Radio"...it's in the market. I use it to get ESPN1000 (Chicago) when I am traveling outside of typical radio range.

Click to collapse
If it downloaded a .pls or .m3u file, I suggest installing StreamFurious from the market.
Brock Samson would be an awesome porno name. That's all I had to add to this thread...
rename com.amazon.mp3.zip to com.amazon.mp3.apk
install with:
adb remount
adb push com.amazon.mp3.apk /system/app/com.amazon.mp3.apk
Thanks =]
It's working great on CyanogenMod 4.2.8.1
For anyone who's an idiot like myself, it's not called "Amazon MP3 Store" (or Amazon.com MP3 Store or whatever it was called) anymore, it's now called "MP3 Store"
so when you don't see it up top and thinking it's not showing up.. it is...you just have to scroll down to find it..
anyone can enlighten on differences/improvements?
What's interesting is that it now works in uk, it actually opens a uk amazon mp3 store and you can now buy songs in pounds. I don't think this was possible before, plus I don't believe amazon mp3 store is even in the uk market place.
Can anyone confirm if you could accese the mp3 store in uk in previous versions of the app?
What is the difference?
Seems a bit quicker and smoother, thanks for posting it!
MP3 v1.6 Rocks!!
Hey! It works perfectly on my tmobile Android G1!!!! thanks!

There is an official BBC news app on the market today: http://phandroid.com/2011/05/25/bbc-news-app-comes-to-android-market/
But when I search the market from my phone I cannot find it and when I use the Web Android Market it will not let me install it to my device, it is just greyed out. https://market.android.com/details?id=bbc.mobile.news.uk
I am running Continuum 5.5, I was wondering if anyone else was seeing the same behavior. Is it because Android Market thinks my phone is an i9000?
So when I hover my mouse over my device it says that the player cannot be installed in my country...
I'm guessing its like the BBC iPlayer, you have to be in the UK to be able to use/download it. I just tried and got the same issue.
