Found this, could someone cook this into a rom? Wonder how it works...
It is supposed to be a TV player tab for manila 2.5 19xx, it could not be simply installed.
Manilla TV Player
I looked at the XML and this is the original thread for the file uploaded in the above post.

This should atleast give more information for those that are interested.

Do you have any feedback concerning the Manila TV app cooked into
Rhodium_Manila_2.5_V9 that was released today? Are there any sources already configured into .xml?
Let us know what you think, Thanks
I'm downloading it now and will check it out too!

Great list for my tastes. Thanks a lot for the .xml work already put in. I am flashing now to see what I think. I do prefer At0mang Roms for some things, but I do like Ark too. Maybe I need to combine them to make a super ROM for myself, hehe!
I see your .xml is for WMPlayer. Have you tried anything else?
I think this thread may actually get some hits!

So, where is the ark rom? Is it for the TP2?

Everything worked fine. Just need to find some more streams. I will let you know if I come with anything new.
Ill do the same. I know if you have a tv card in a computer you can stream all cable channels using orb and link them to the manila tv. I am currently trying to set up a computer to try this..
I have a Digital tv card for my tablet, but it never reads any channels. I dont have one that I can hook into cable. I will look into that though. Let me know what you get working and if you get any more streams found.
I haven't had time yet to really sit down and find them.
I have been trying to get NaviPanel working properly in V9 also. I think Ark has it almost done though. Hopefully he will be on messenger in the morning to let me know. I need a .dll file from him to get it working at this point.
He will probably release a new ROM this week with everything working.
If you do Messenger add me!

Hi Rruffman,
Thx for the streams and logos.
I have setup my TP2 xml file like you suggest and it works very well. I have been unable to get any of the streams to work with Coreplayer so I continue to use wmp.
locale = en-us but still am unable to run most US streams. Do you have any idea what causes this annoying problem? For example when I try to stream from the following address "http://wwitv.com/stream/b5429.asx" wmp starts and I get the error "Cannot play the file. The file is either corrupted or the player does not support the format you are trying to play."
I did try Coreplayer but while it did start the player, nothing else happened.
Thanks for your time.

curious if it is possiable to add this to htc album. a major part of album app that is missing from the wm2003 edition of album. can anybody figure a way to add this feature. also i have not been able to find a way to install the old album on a wm6 device...any help on either of these issues would be greatly appriciated. thanks!
UPDATE!-here it is i highly reccomend giving it a try ...trying to get an english translation though! just unzip and place in program files folder! ALL CREDIT TO TWEAKRADJE!!!!!
Update2-once you have album4wm5 installed overwrite with the album exe that i've posted make sure you do not install the camera exe as this will mess up your camera. this update will translate the album to english. now i will try and get some help with the delete/copy/paste issues not working. NOW YOU CAN BROWSE ANY PIC ON YOUR PHONE ZOOM IN AND SET AS TODAY BACKGROUND!!! ONCE AGAIN ALL CREDIT TO TWEAKRADJE!!!!!
The ability to set a background thru htc album doesn't seem to be in there. It's only for showing off what WM can do ... I don't think its supposed to be useful! haha.
My device still has "Pictures and Videos" on it... Doesn't yours? I'm using the TouchIT rom, but I don't know what is in or have been removed from the OpenTouch roms ....

yeah, I have pics and vids with the option i'm talking about....but both pics and vids AND htc album are missing important features that the old album from wm2003 had. pics and vids can't zoom and save as to the today screen. u r just stuck with your picture as is for the today screen. htc album can zoom any pic but you can't save to anywhere. u can use for a contact but still not in the zoomed form. this all sounds kinda picky on my part i'm sure but if u have ever used...or get the chance to use album wm2003 u will see how good a program it is. thanks for your response and keep an eye and ear out for any help on these programs. thanks again!!!!!!
Why don't you try and extract it from a WM2003 ROM? I'll see if I can do that some time this month... maybe.
I've only ever used WM5 and WM6 .. so I don't know what you're talking about haha. But I'm interested in finding out... maybe someone else can extract them since Ivan is going thru a computer crisis at the moment.

Just copy the CAB in that post over onto your phone via activesync ... then open the file explorer on your phone, find the cab and tap it to run the installation.
Don't install that cab because it overwrites the camera software as well...

could you guys possibly tell me what to look for that would need to be extracted? i would probably need to install total commander to investigate the files closer than what i could with file explorer... um...right?? i'm trying to help myself guys haha! oh by the way after installing that cab my camera still worked. but, when i dropped the files from the zip into the windows folder manually it did quit working. i got the files out and all is well. i was just excited momentarily to see the icon for this beloved program of mine in my program list. thanks again try not to forget about me..
there are a few sites that i would like to add to my plug in...
i tried searching the forums..but, i failed... so, if it exists allready... im sorry...
does any one know how to add a site to the player ?
i.e.
when you click a link on youtube.com, it opens up a box that says
play video
save video
linked page
how do i make that happen on other sites? is there a registry somewehere?
the one in particular that i want is...uhhh....adult. works just like youtube... but its you_orn.com
lol had to ask.. ... i use it for...um... research...
Before you get flamed, quickly *REMOVE* mention of my ROM from this thread or you'll be told (somewhat rightfully so) to go ask in my ROM thread.
Your actual question is about how to change the videosite behavior in 'FlashBundle' along with TCPMP 0.72rc1.
I would also like to know more sites to add to videosites.htm, especially those of the forsaid topic matter
The original developer says to post suggested sites in his thread here or to pm him with suggestions.
from his FAQ:
1.18 Can more sites be added?
Definitely. Although ultimately it may depend on the site and the type of content. Post your suggestions in this thread or PM me.

ok.. ill edit the html to have those links...
but...
it still wont work, i dont think... i think there is another place that has to be changed..the html doc is just a simple link...
hmm...
it works with a ie plugin, videoloader.dll
i added it to the html... wich loaded the page...but the vids still dont work
i tried to open and edit the dll with PE EXPLORER.... no dice...
im a web dev... dll etc arent my area....
I was browsing Slashdot on my phone, and there was a link to a YouTube video... clicked it and the same menu came up to play, save, or link.
So it has to be something more then the HTM file, right? Something to recognize the source of the link and act accordingly?
I would also like a more updated video bundle:-D Silverscreen has changed the way there video's are and that site no longer works
i dont think so, because if you navigate to youtube with out it... it still works...
i did read in the link above that a site OVGUIDE.com had some that worked..
its all about how they fetch the flv... if they do it just like youtube or oneof the ones that allready work.... it will work...
i tried looking in the dll... doesnt make sence to me...there must be another file

yes i have installed games and i have been playing them. most of the games work, about 90%. make sure you are selecting from the 240X320. as far as the local root folder issue goes, just create a folder when prompted. i'll try to use the screen shot software and make a walk-thru for ya.
maybe this will help

Thanks so much for posting this link. This has been my biggest problem with my Fuze.
I'd tried every suggested fix I could find for this problem ever since I first got the Fuze 11/08. HTC and third party media players, registry tweaks, huge caches, running on and off battery power, turning off equalization, etc.
But, no matter what, nothing that I did made a bit of difference. My WMA collection was subject to hiccups and stutters. Every few minutes at most I'd get a brief interruption, which gimped my phone as an all around media device.
But, now I've listened for about half an hour after installing the hotfix and at long last I'm golden! Thanks HTC for addressing this issue that is admittedly minor for most users, but was HUGE for me. That's how to build customer loyalty.
This is good news. Unfortunately, this exe won't run on custom roms.
I wonder if some kind soul might be willing to install this on a stock rom to see exactly what files and/or registry settings the installer changes (using SKTools or something) and then zip them up for us so we can test it...

It ran fine on NATF's v4.7. No idea what it did though. You can open the .exe in 7Zip and see the files though, so you might be able to work out what it does from that.

NATF 4.7 is a 6.1 rom, so that explains why it probably runs on it (I should have clarified that it won't run on newer build custom roms).
Anyway, thanks for the tip about 7Zip. I've extracted the contents and I'm looking over the xml files to see what it does. Looks like it installs a new OEM_Misc.dll, along with a couple other files, and a few registry entries. I may try to fiddle with it this weekend.

From this looks of this thread, Da_G was going to include the fix in his kitchen, although I still experience skipping audio sometimes.
I did a quick compare of the OEM_Misc.dll in Da_G's kitchen, the file in the other thread, and this one. The file in this Raph hotfix is smaller (by about 10kb) than the version in Da_G's kitchen and it is labeled version 5.11.0.0, as opposed to 5.0.0.0. The file in the thread you posted is even smaller yet (by about 7kb) and is labeled version 1.39.0.0...
I'm going to try copying this newest OEM_Misc to my Windows folder to see what happens. I'll post back later...
Update: I installed this new OEM_Misc.dll on my TP and ran it through my regular weekday audio test at the gym. After about 1 hour 15 minutes of straight music playback, I did not experience any of the skipping I had seen before. The only skip I noticed was immediately after the audio resumed after hanging up a call. Other than that, it seems to be a noticeable improvement.
I've whipped up a cab for anyone else that wants to try it out on a newer rom.
thanks hefman,
quick question before i install, is this cab uninstallable? just want to make sure i don't have to hard-reset if it doesn't work out for me
Works
Thanks very much. This worked for me with the 6.1 standard FUZE ROM. Before the Hotfix, every 20 seconds or so of audio playback I received a skip. It was very annoying and rendered the FUZE unusable as an mp3 player. Since the installation of the Hotfix, no more skips. I played several songs without a single skip or hesitation.

You should be able to uninstall the cab. However, if it won't uninstall, you can always use TotalCommander to delete the OEM_Misc.dll file from your Windows directory. A soft reset will then restore your rom's version of that file.
Can you please inform CDMA folks that this is not for them. I had to do hard reset (SPRINT Touch Pro). Thanks.

Anyway, I changed the name of my cab.
Strange though, the original HTC hotfix link does not say it is GSM-specific. Did you install the original exe or my cab?
seems to be working great! i have noticed however that my 'menu' soft-key for htc music player is not working anymore but it is probably due to a diff program b/c uninstalling the audio fix does not correct the problem..

Do you have any plans for a snes emulator too?
Will check this out. Thanks!
Working fine here, hope you will be able to fix sound too =)
On my Trophy, I do notice a significant speed improvement when I select the "Faster screen" option. What does this do differently? Is there any downside to using this option?
Very Nice.
But maybe you could add a description how to add Games, as it took me a while to figure out what to do (I guess I'm not the only one)
Error
Hi!
I get this error when trying to add an .xml....
Can't load the game list! The remote server returned an error: NotFound
Could you please do a step by step tutorial on how to do the gamelist... and explain what is the "URI" you need to enter into warios jewels settings?
Thanks for your time!

There is what you have to to to create a GameList.
Afterwards - Upload your "Covers" and "Roms" folders to a webserver, as well as the GameList.xml
Then just enter this URL in the Game Settings. Et volià.
Where is the .xap? I'm getting the .zip, but there is no XAP file inside it.

Right I somehow missed that...
Well, in that case you have to move the button (or add a description) so that everyone can easily find it
EDIT: Do you have a PayPal account - because I'd really like to support your work...

Thanks...tried the Gamelist and added some roms... I have now ready the 3 files you said....
but didnt understand what you really meant when you said of uploading it to a "webserver"....you mean ...megaupload/rapidshare...and that sort of?...
or...is it another thing?
sorry for my poor knowledge on the subject...
new to this world
Thx!
You'll need a real webserver where you can access those files. So Rapidshare, e.g. is not an option.
Just wondering, what does the little Floppy Disc button do on the Individual Game page? It's greyed out for all of my games.

I have an issue with the GameList.xml.
I created it with "GameListCreator", then I redirected "GameList.xml", "Roms" and "Covers" with HFS (HTTP File Server), shut off the Firewall, pointed to the URL of the XML but I obtained the following error :
"Can't load the game List ! The format of the GameList is not valid !
NullReferenceException"
I tried your GameList.xml but I have the same issue.
So I tried to replace "Roms\" by "Roms/" and "Covers\" by "Covers/" in the xml file, unfortunately nothing change
Thanks for your work and help
