Icons/widgets with style similar to Power Control - G1 Apps and Games

I recently found Toggle Data widget. It looks good near Donut's Power Control.

Is it possible to replace Power Control Bluetooth toggle with APN on/off?

Nope, don't think we've been able to edit the Power Control toggles yet. By the way, there's an app called "Toggle Data", it's not really an app, just an icon which will let you toggle.

Right...

For those who are interested in finding donut style white icons - there is another one - Reader Widget Small.
It shows unread google reader messages and after clicking opens GR in browser.

something else you might want to look at it manups hero style widgets (you can search the theme section) and there are about 10 different toggle widgets. they dont look like the donut power control but if you download them change the pngs and then sign it they can look however you want aka the power control sytle. hope that helps.

I'd certainly replace power control+toggle apn with hero widgets if they gave me the same functionality. But I can't find APN on/off hero style toggle button...

Recommended Shortcuts in XXLSA

I recently flashed the leaked XXLSA ROM to my Note and everything's great
Although there's an icon that I can't seem to figure out what it is... It's when I plug in my headphones to the device and a page buddy appears along with a row of Recommended Shortcuts (earphones) in the notification menu. I tried pressing the icon but it doesnt seem to do anything. Does anyone know what this icon does?

I tried it now..nothing happens except the notification bar goes off & you will be on homescreen..from the icon, it looks like something to do with S Pen..so may b its a shortcut to S-Note or something, which won't work..I may be wrong

Yeah I tried it too, it doesn't even bring me to the home screen. After I press it, the notification menu just closes off.
I went to a local electronics store yesterday and played with the Note II. That button brings up Quick Command, which is not yet integrated into XXLSA.

4.4 Disable quick settings tab?

Any way to just disable quick settings altogether?
I was able to freeze the What's New via Titanium Backup, but I don't see quick settings anywhere in the list.
When I was on 4.3 and unrooted I just removed all the toggles and it didn't bother me too much. But now I have an empty tab.
I would use it if it weren't so limited. I can change a handful of settings. Would be useful if I could truly customize the quick settings. If I could open a much used app or run a tasker profile. Power toggles and the like working much better for me.

It's part of the launcher I think..
You will need to install another ROM that enables you to customize what you want

No, it's built into the system UI. You can remove it if you know a thing or do about modding.

Disabling Lockscreen weather notification possible?

I think its crazy that one cannot take the weather widget off the lockscreen. I mean, you can but then the temperature in the taskbar goes away with it or as do all notifications like texts and emails. I think my lockscreen looks like crap with the big ugly box displaying the weather.
There's no weather widget on my lock screen. Are you running a custom ROM?
Gotta love first posters ....
What phone, what variant (carrier) and what ROM (if at all) and /or third party app are you using?
Handy tip - as they say - "more info works best and gets better answers quickly"
Can't seem to post a screenshot of it here but no matter which weather app i download it puts a weathere widget bar on my lockscreen right under the clock. I have a nonrooted n6 from Motorola with a verizon sim in it. No matter which weather app i use they all work the same as in, if you want to display the temperature in your taskbar, it will have that ugly ass widget with it on the lockscreen. Sucks.
If you mean that you're using a notification to show the weather then yes, it will show up on your lock screen. That's how Lollipop works, it shows notifications on the lock screen.
It's not a widget...

Pretty sure this is what he's talking about. Ya, looks kinda ugly, but like they said, its how LP works.
I am sure as more xposed modules are made and released, someone will figure out a way to remove just the box.

Cannot believe a phone as customizable as an n6, one cannot simply drag that feature into a garbage can or something.

LG G6 T-Mobile No WiFi Calling Quick Settings Tile? Anything to Supplement?

I jumped over from the Samsung S7 Edge which had a wifi calling quick settings tile for Nougat.....Is there a way to add one without root? Or an app that has a widget for it?
Or a way to add a home screen button through Nova Launcher?
I've been trying to figure this out for about an hour now
[Double post]
WiFi calling is in the phone settings. Open the dialer, hit the menu buttons and settings.

Hey yea Im familiar with how to turn it off and on in the settings menu. :good::good:
I was asking if there was a way to add a quick settings tile for it along with the others under the top notifications bar.

Question Notification Bar / clock disapearing

I have two problems with the notification bar on my Edge 20 with Android 12 Stock ROM, which are extremely annoying!
The bar is hidden on the home screen. It only shows up when I'm in an app. When I wake up the phone, I don't even see if I've got any messages:

Iif I pull down the bar, the clock disappears. Extremely tedious, for example, if you write to someone via the bar on WhatApp and then don't know what time it is and have to close the bar again:
Is there a way to fix this?

I believe that certain 3rd party launchers have the option to hide the statusbar clock if there is a clock widget already placed on the home screen.
I use Nova Launcher, but haven't found any coresponding settings.

I think Power Shade resolves your problem
