Anyone know of a way to play 'mms://' audio streams?

I have a few local radio stations that I used to listen to on my iphone using their online streams, but they were all using the mms:// protocol. Anyone know of an internet radio player that works on the N1 and handle these type of streams?

Don't personally use mms:// so i haven't tried it.

I did, but currently doesn't support mms://. I just looked at their site though and apparently they are working on it. I guess that's good news!

ok i just installed Doomed_Froyo_Slim+V2.1.zip on my thrill and everything is great but one, the radio fc everytime and two none of my videos will play with the stock player.. does anyone have the apk for that and is there a known fix yet for the radio? and while im here is there a way to make the camera but at least open the camera again? thanks for your help guys lookin fwd to being a part of the community

ok so since im new to the thrill to and soon to get rid of it because of the development/community i can only try to help with your question about the 3d button, you can remap it to open the camera but i think thats about it maybe while i have some time ill see if i can mess with the settings a bit more to see if shutter can be remapped as well but check this link out here

The radio will fc every time, unless you have head phones plugged in and Bluetooth turned on. Do that before you open the app. As for the videos, what format are they?

m4a, 3gp, avi none are working atm, it just says loading and it never does, if i download another video player it works, but i need the stock one bc i havent found a non stock one that allows you to change the 3d settings where the image becomes one, instead of the whole double image deal. As for the 3d button and radio i will try after i get off work and let ya know thanks for the responses

[Q] FM radio tuner for GT-I9305 ?

Hi, i was looking over play store for fm radio tuner for my GT-I9305, found twoo apps witch one is giving me an error and second is some kind of beta and audio doesnt work.
was thinking, if samsung did not installed any fm tuner software on GT-I9305, is this feature available on GT-I9305?
if yes, what app i can use?

you can try Spirit Fm .

The i9305 has no FM Radio hardware, so it will never work.

i am also a fm radio listener on the way to work. i have installed Tunein radio from the app store. its pretty good.

Request for Stock Music Player and FM Radio

Hello, everyone.
I own a Galaxy S with the latest stable version of Cyanogenmod, 4.1.2.
Could someone upload the STOCK Samsung Galaxy music player (preferably not an old version) and the STOCK FM apk?
I've tried locating them in xda and I have indeed found some, but for some reason they don't seem to install on my device and I just can't understand why.

They wont be working, because they need the samsung framework, which isn't built in CyanogenMod.
Instead of the Radio FM try Spirit FM and for a good music player give Poweramp a try

Well, that explains it! thanks a lot for answering. I installed Spirit FM the other day and it does work. I suppose I'll stick to Apollo for a music player. Works for me..

LG FM Radio app download!! Works on Verizon V30!

I found this online and can confirm it works with the Verizon variant of the V30. It's version 5.30.11. You must allow installations from non-trusted sources under settings/security to install this app. Enjoy!!

Does not work with Korean version of the V30.. Says that I must enable FM Radio first, but there's no such option anywhere

Theres already a FM radio app stock on the T-Mobile H932 model.

I was able to install the Next Radio app on my Verizon V30, but I haven't tried it out yet.

So does this app just stream radio or is this an actual fm tuner?

This is the stock LG FM Radio app that utilizes the built in FM tuner on these phones. I can pick up all the radio stations around me that i can in my car. It also supports RDS, radio data system, where the app will display the artist and song info. Pretty cool.

Next Radio runs just fine on my V30. Granted, I only tried it with one station, but it's the ONLY station I listen to.

Can confirm that this works on the Sprint V30+ variant as well. It's not showing any RDS info, however.

Too bad we couldn't get the stock sms app to work. Seems everyone is removing it now

Well the problem was on my end. After deactivating the LG package disabler I was able to install the FM radio. Reactivated the package disabler after that and everything works.

It came preinstalled on my v3/0+

I think RDS info is radio station dependent. It shows on some radio stations in my area but not others.

Just another silly move by big red. Why they removed the radio app even though they left the FM receiver present was pretty dumb.

I stand corrected - the app *does* display RDS info, I was just not looking in the right place.

Next radio app
I have a Verizon V 30 and downloaded the Next radio app from the play store. It works great but you need the headphones/earbuds plugged in as it serves as your antenna. I tuned in to a station and went out and checked it with my car radio and they both were playing the same song . with this app you can choose to use the tuner or you can stream if your phone doesn't have a fM tuner. My Verizon V 30 worked great with the tuner.

Can confirm it works on Korean v30+
