yeah there is a x2 rom but these are just files of the prototype x2 from gtrab, the whole official original rom or software isnt online or cooked yet, cuz the x2 didnt come out yet...

Er, buddy your posting in a forum filled with 6.5 ROMS for X1. There is no official 6.5 ROM for X1 though.
Its like what intratech replied,
You can find many WinMo 6.5 ROM in this section, Most of the ROM Support XPERIA Panel, there are some ROM which doesnt support Panel, but the panel manager are the one for X1
Im not sure if there are any ROM with WinMo6.5 and X2 Panel manager yet

I'm looking for latest ROM (Ex. Build 23542) but I don't want any addins or customiztions like HTC, TF3D etc. etc...
I see people regulary post roms, and they mark it as "pure, clean etc." but in real there are always customizations and they are not clean at all..
How does this system work? Where do they find the initial state of the ROM and they add their customizations?
I want the initial state only but the latest rom to flash with storage card method?

I'm using WildChilds pure WM6.5 rom for a month and I'm very happy with it. Great battery and ram performance and you can install what you want on a clean fast rom.
Just register and have fun.

The two I've found most stable are Christian's ROM and gtrab's PURE Series ROM
Really not worth a whole new thread on this! Nearly every week someone asks what the best clean 6.5 ROM is... its largely subjective. Some people prefer one cooked ROM, other will swear by another.
The only way to really know is to look at the available ROMs and try them out.
Once the X2 is released and the chefs manage to get a download of the released ROM that will probably yield the best ongoing solution... but for now, experiment!

i just have one doubt...a ROM is the OS rite??
See, even Touch HD 2(or anyother phone) has WinMO 6.5
BUT HOW do we know what interface it has?? As in even a Touch HD has 6.5 and so does X2..but i wil obviously wont flash my X1 with a Touch HD ROM...??
So how can we decide what ROM is or for what phone????
PS: Im stil looking for a X2 ROM...and as someone mentioned above, till it isnt released, we can get a hold on to it..so i guess i am gonna wait..hehe

I watched that someone in youtube has upgraded his X1 ROM to XPERIA X2 ROM.
Has someone here do the same thing?
Please let me know which one X2 ROM is available to be ported to X1.

Well, your question is a bit contradictional. If you want a X2 ROM on your X1 you'll have to flash a customized wm6.5 ROM.
Because you can't directly flash a X2 ROM to X1 without porting it to X1.
Look for the X2 port from jerpelea.

Well I see,
I mean that I want an original X2 ROM (without any 3rd party application addition customized by any chef) that trully like original X2 ROM (MR2 Hopefully).
But it seems impossible?
I've tried 2 ROMs from Energy but it looks like HTC Phone too much
I've tried 7 ROMs from x869 but it is not customized like HTC more
I've tried 2 Barebone ROMs from Gtrab, I also don't feel X2 things inside
I think jerplea x2 rom is the most accurate for your needs. I've tried it and it is really nice. it doesn't have any htc stuff. the only downside is jerplea stopped the dev because of his broken x1. you should give it a try

Kindly, I would like from you to know that can we use X2 ROM in X1 and at the same time can we use service update to update the X1. If yes would someone to provide the link to download because as you know that the X2 6.2 is the official ROM, so it's nice to use it in X1 .. !!

Sorry to disappoint you.. but these X2 roms you can find here are ported X2 roms for your X1.. you cannot possibly update it via service updater from Sony Ericsson itself.. Try following Russel Eclair's new X2 rom and keep viewing his post for more updates to come.. And remember.. Hard-SPL your phone 1st before you start installing roms.. Good luck
im looking for the latest WM6.5 ROM for my X1 that is updated and stable...i went through a thread by "888" but he last said he wont provide supports for it anymore...so pls advice or supply with a link.
