I have an ALPINE which is stuck on "windows mobile" screen

Hi all PDA and HTC lovers.I have an ALPINE which is stuck on "windows mobile" screen. Thats because I was upgrading a new rom but during upgrade connection between my PDA and my PC was interrupted then I got many error messages on screen but it was too late now I cant get my ALPINE into bootloader mode and I only can see "windows mobile" screen when I plugged charger.Is it possible to make it run my alpine again. I would be very pleased if you could help.

Stuck on window mobile screen
I got similar problem on XDA Exec last week and fixed it. I do not know whether the steps will help on you XDA IIi or not.
I was upgrading the XDA Exec to a newer ROM version and keep getting country error code. Whatever I did caused the device to stuck on window mobile screen. I simply put the device into the cradle after reseting it. The screen still shown the window mobile image. I ran the ROM update program again (I think it is MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe). It showed an error but I ran it again withthout taking my device out of the cradle. It run sucessful the second time.
I notice that when the program runs, it close ActiveSync application from your desktop and the device screen turns to black screen with some simple texts on it.

Selcuk, have you solved ur IIi yet? and which Rom were you trying to install? what was the reason of getting the upgrade interupted? I can upload the PUGs rom if you want.

hi my fellow Siddiqui I couldnt solve that problem yet.And I tried to upgrade it again and couldnt manage to do that **** upgade please help me...Do I need to send it to HTC to Dubai? and I dont know how much does it cost ? can u please tell me if u know more about this topic?

which Rom were you trying to install? what was the reason of getting the upgrade interupted/corrupted? I can upload the PUGs rom (as I am using it and its fantastic) if you want with the instructions.

I was trying to upgrade to Alpine_Ext-1.11.162_Radio-1.04_O2stuffstripped_Camera_Fixed
rom but I couldnt. Can you please upload any other which will help me to save my alpine if possible....and I can try PUGs rom thnks so much

Guys, is there any experience on of you when u plugged out the simcard, and put it again....ur G1 cant received any signal again?

Do a soft reset and see if that helps. If not, do a hard reset.

thanks man..i already do a ahard reset, and it works...my g1 run normally now...but my app are gone...how i get it back? anyone know?

Rerun the apps2sd instalation process. If u have the a2sd apk on ur sd u will need a file browser like astro to install the apk and redo the instalation after that.

[Qustions] the original ROM and the tf3d (landscape) rom

hi all i recently join this forum and i really like it and find a lot of topics about the x1 and i change my x1 much but if i want to my phone to be like the first time i turn it on with the first look of it with win 6.1 and the origin room and locked how can i return it back ?? i searched a lot here but i didnt find it u have a lot of topics i got lost ??? i also searched for tf3d working in landscape bcoz i tried this rom and it works sooo fast and great but no landscape also i lost while iam searching for it plzzz specify for me these two topics am still beginner here and lots of topics without instructions to how to do it so i really got lost plz help

first the orginal rom is here flash it like you normally would.
if you plan on flashing again the you don't have to do the next bit, but if your giving it in for warrenty then go here and follow the same instruction but when you open the hard-spl program replace the .nbh file with the stock one attached at the end of the post!

Just rename the extracted file to (without quote) "kovsimg.nbh", and make sure it is not "kovsimg.nbh.image", then you can update your rom via micro SD method or run RUU. Read this thread, or this thread to update your ROM.

So uninstall this crap!
Go to Settings -> System -> Remove Programs.
Restart device.

flash center probs

can anybody help me see i downloaded flash center off xda and i have used it before because i dnt want to hspl and it works, but now im having trouble with it because now my phone wont let me reflash .It does everything perfectly until the ruu starts then it throws my phone into a blackscreen then the ruu give me an error ...file open...
i cant hspl my sd is not right for the job
