Hi everyone;
I like the motion sensor capability of this device. Now everyone knows that summer vocations are coming and we will all have much free time. I wanted to ask if anyone know about games that are motion sensor based just like some race games in iPhone. Htc touch diamond has just one motion sensor game (Teeter) and thats it. I have been looking around and i could not find any games that are motion based and that are made for VGA devices. If anyone knows a site or even the name of the game PLEASE can u share it ( not the game !!) just the name of the game will be enough !!!! so lets together find interesting games for our device !!
HTC uses propietary (and undocumented) accelerometer access API.
Not to mention this is the first WM device with accelerometer.
So I wonder where do you intend to "find" any games for it, since it just hit the market. Eventually third-party games will appear, but for now Teeter is the only one HTC was generous enough to provide.
I searched a lot but without success...
I search again !
TEETER dump?
Help! I just installed a localized, dumped ROM (Danish) and TEETER is missing. Can some dump in into a CAB, please?
still serching.... nothing new.
teeter is inof now, many times finished with total 15 mins of high scor. haha
Have been bored at work all day. Just wondered if anyone had any fantastic ideas for Diamond games. I'm not saying I can make them, but if anyone can work out how to get the G-sensor working on games, I'd love to see a sensor-based Pacman.
there is loads of old dos games you could convert.
someone made a lunar lander game. he can help you with the gsensor.
what about a driving/flying game in which you control the car/airplane with the gsensor and use the dpad button to fire at enemies.
or maybe just a racing game
a platform game in which walking is left right, tilt up is jump etc
good luck
I've been struggling for the past 2, 3 months to find GOOD games for my xperia (3d graphics good performance appealing) I played experiment 13 (best so far) but thats about it, xtrakt really isn't as good as it is said to be. So i was thinking would it be possible to make a nintendo ds emulator or something similiar, ds would be perfect since it is very similar to xperia gaming, you touch on one place on the screen and press hardware buttons, (metroid for example would be the PERFECT xperia game, you walk around with w on the hardware keyboard aim with stylus and shoot with space or camera button or volume key) I know it's a long stretch but would it be impossible? Do you guys think the x1 hardware can handle that. if not is it impossible to modify the game itself to run as .exe or something, I've seen a guy run halo 1 on the xperia for gods sake (its on youtube) so it should be possible... also who remembers those classic shooting games that we played at the arcade, where you just aim and shoot as your character moves by himself through the levels? wouldn't that work great on the xperia as well?
http://www.downloadsquad.com/2007/03/05/top-5-emulators-for-windows-mobile-mobile-minute/
i dont know where to find a DS one though but theres a GBA one listed there
One would think an ARM smartphone @ 528Mhz could be able to emulate the DS since it's also an ARM device (ARM7 33Mhz + ARM9 66Mhz) so there's not much emulation needed, but from my limited programming experience (3 courses in Java) i say it's not simple to code an emulator.. but the DS would be a interesting device to try to emulate, but except the dual ARM CPUs there's additional hardware needed to emulate...
Not to mention the dual screens would pose a problem, but that's less of a problem since a lot of games can be played only looking at 1 screen, one could maybe have the 2nd screen as a miniature at the side, since there would be some space left at a widescreen since the DS is 4:3.
But all that would be a long way to go...
(About the Halo 1 port.. THAT'D be impossible to "just run" by a few tweaks... i'm 100% certain it's fake and that you got fooled, probably a video of Halo 1 running at the Xperia.)
Me though, i'm hoping/waiting patiently for a WiiMote driver for Windows Mobile, that'd be awesome for NES/ other older consoles + some SNES games that doesn't require constant use of shoulder buttons... oh, as well as native WinMob games that support mapping.
Hi everyone, NFS shift is a best ever racing game for X1, however, this game require G-sensor for steering. As there is no G-sensor on X1, so it become unplayable.
Is there any G-sensor emulation app to use Dpad as G-sensor, so that we can play this game?

There is no such thing as G-Sensor emulation, either your phone has a G-sensor or it doesn't. I actually have this game with onscreen controls Pm me.

So I got a chance to try the 100mb version of NFS Shift and turns out the version I have is older, the 100mb one looks completely different. I've been searching but could not find one with onscreen controls yet.
Hi Viper89, thanks for your reply. Discovered that the HTCSensor service will mislead the game that X1 have G-sensor, once it is removed then the game will able to run with keyboard for steering & drift.
Now the game can play but the GPU seem not powerful enough to run smoothly, sigh.

Nice find, how do I find this HTCSensor service and remove it?
Simply remove the files: smiHapticsServer_1.dll and SmiSensorServer_1.dll from windows directory. Now you can play the game by pressing j and k for left and right and d for drift.

You can find them in \Windows directory but they are hidden so you have to use total commander instead of file explorer.

So.. I have my SGM With CyanogenMOD 7.2.0 RC5.3. Recently, I installed the game Dungeon Defenders: Second Wave and downloaded all the content inside the game in order to play. I realized that the game was running kinda slow in the Main Menu (That didn't sorprise me at all, because it is a SMG) but when I created the character and started the tutorial, the game was very slow.. Super Slow.. So i decided to install ChainFire 3D and try again with each plugin (Nvidia, Powervr and QualCOMM), but that didn't help.
Alright, here comes the question:
Is there anyone who might have played this game in a SGM without problems? In the case there is.. how? xD I mean.. I know that this smartphone is not an iPhone, but I wish to know a way
