I was following the tutorial on upgrading my Wizard.
I had successfully flashed Button Rom to my imate k-jam (G3) twice and CID unlocked it. The T-Mobile 2.26 update failed and the recovery process lost connection
It now boots to the bootloader screen and shows IPL 2.26 and SPL 2.26. After the initial bootloader screen stays on for a while (3-5 minutes???), it goes into a continuous reboot cycle where it boots into the bootloader screen and then immediately reboots. If I take the battery out, it will reset the cycle.
The tutorials says to reflash it back to ButtonRom 1.05, but it reboots before that will work.
The battery had 82% before the T-Mobile 2.26 flash attempt.
Any ideas?

hey.. ive upgrade to new roms before.. however i tried going from the cingular 2.25 rom to summiters aku 2.3.. and it froze at 98% and was unable to finsh.. now I jsut tried downgrading and it froze again at 98%.. it won't complete anytthing.. help. please.
It's normal for it to seem to freeze at 98%, but it really will complete if you just wait a few minutes. No worries... just be patient.

hey if your phone is doesn't go through with the rom upgrade and doesn't push through and when you reboot you get stuck on the boot screen.
Put your phone into USB programming mode by holding the camera button down and doing a soft reset with the stylus. Then you will be able to load any rom you choose.
With regards to your frozen at 98 just give it time i would say don't unplug

2nd time trying to load "Cingular_Custom_AKU2.3_Combo_Installer_V1.exe" ROM but still stuck at 98%...on the computer it says 100% and finishes but the phone is still stuck at 98%..tried to do a soft reset, but stuck at bootloader screen..

I tried the mutli screen but it doesnt recognize my device and so i cant run the image to restore it
any more ideas?

I tried the cingular 8125 wizard thing and it got to 95% then said it cant update my phone :/
Ok, so I was flashing a rom(blackdiamond 1.0) via shelltool and THANKS TO WINXP, it went into it's powersaver mode and logged out.
The phone ended up being half-flashed.
Now, when I boot my phone, it stops in the IPL/SPL screen with the Wizard Love background(which was my original rom).
I soft reset, and it goes back to the same screen and hangs.
I hard reset and it does exactly the same thing.
Any advice?

False alarm folks!
After reading another post, I put it into bootloader mode with Camera + Power and even though the computer(activesync) doesn't recognize it, it allowed me to flash the wizard rom.

I have HERA100 which is stuck on start up logo and can not complete booting, for flashing I have to put the phone on boot loader mode, it gives me the following data:
IPL 4.11.0002
SPL 4.11.0000
need advice on which files should be used to revive my phone?

enter bootloader(hold camera and poke hole on side)
then get the official ROM(if its a tmobile wing) then flash it.
p.s. i dont think you need the official rom. ive bricked my wing and just reflashed a different ROM
I already tried that, but the upgrade process stops at 2% and the phone reboots with same condition (stuck on start up logo).
By the way, the start up logo is O2 and not Tmobile.

hmm are you trying the same rom that bricked your phone?
I tried more than three different roms, most of them stops at 3%, one of them stops at 2%.
is there any special procedure should be done?

This happen to me before u have to use the RUU and enter the boot loader through the process u were given in the previous post
your phone is an o2 xda terra. there is no ruu for the terra.
Put your phone in bootloader and use USPL or HardSPL to flash a custom rom to your phone. You will have to HardSPL your phone as it is not yet HardSPL'd if you choose to take that path. In any case, USPL is preferable until you're out of warranty
but the phone can not work in normal mode, how can I use the hardspl or uspl in my case ( phone works only in boot mode)?
for USPL: This will work in bootloader
Download it, put it in the right directory, slap in the .nbh file, FLASH-IFY!
for Hard-SPL: This MIGHT work in bootloader
Download it, press the button

My phone is a G3 att 8125. I flashed to 2.26 which I always do before installing any rom then installed X2A Haseebs Iphone Killer and it stalled at 57% for over an hour so I unplugged it and hard-reset it. I have installed this rom about twice and it works fine. Now my phone starts up and goes straight to the Tri-colored bootscreen. When I plug the phone in it displays that it is connected via USB but the computer doesnt recognize it. IPL 2.26, SPL 2.26 as displayed on the screen. PLEASE HELP! The RUU doesnt recognize the phone with 2.5.2.
Problem Solved! I tryed flashing it with the 2.26 rom for the 5th time and it got through fine
