for I know there is not something like that. I think you must go to a custom rom!

Is there a modified app that would give me this dialer on a stock 6.1 ROM? I'm happy (finally! After many hours and many tweaks) with the 'official' HTC ROM and am not anxious to install a cooked ROM. But I really like this dialer layout.

That looks like Nadavi & Dutty's DualTouch Dialer. (It isn't the Diamond dialer.) You can find it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=354380

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, from postings in that thread, it doesn't look like a very stable product. Too bad. Maybe I'll have to take the plunge and do a ROM change.

After thinking about this, I'm not REALLY looking for a new dialer, I'm looking for new graphics. So, it's really only the PNG files that I want.

i'm not sure if this is possible or not, but can you change the comm manager and if so how?
any help would be appreciated

If your talking about the new HTC rhodium/topaz one then I'm sure there is, but do NOT use the settings in Advanced Config, as i did and it prevented comm manager from running, had to HR! thankfully i was going to flash another new itje creation anyway

yes, so do i, but using one of the custom roms you get the new rhodium/topaz one!
I'm looking for a CAB for the X1 Calculator application. The same as the one on gtrab's barebone ROM.
attaching a pic of what i'm lookin for
the one in that picture is not the original calculator the original had annoying round buttons.. (no i dont have a cab of it but i flashed 3 days ago from original to custom)

That is... You can get it by running MobileCalculator.exe in the Windows folder, and not Calculator.exe that the shorcut runs.

Thats not the original calculator from sony oem,thats from the os or sys that he built the rom with...will post it up in a few minutes.

It is the stock WM 6.5 Calculator.

He asked for the original...that is not the original X1 calculator(picture of original included)....The original and the one he is looking for from gtrabs rom are included in the zip file....sync the phone....click Explore....click on My Windows Mobile Based Device....click on Windows....copy and paste which ever one you want to use into that folder over write the one in there and close out and disconnect.

All official roms come with official HTC software including manila, HTC keyboard etc.
What rom? Are you looking for wm 6.5 titanium rom? Wm 6.1 rom?
Dutty has a clean no manilla rom advertised in his Leo R1 test thread. That's the only one I know of.

when i had my samsung omnia some people took off all the samsung programs from the oficial rom and i thouth someone else could have done the same for the Htc touch hd.

When people delete these programs and cook, its not "official" anymore. But I think you re looking for something like this:

Should be more clear when you say official then as all cooked roms are technically illegal or unofficial.

think its not possible what you want as i saw you where talking about nrg rom
nrg rom is a potected rom so you cant dump and recook it
there are apps which will disable htc messaging
for example take a look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=556614
just flash youre nrg rom and instal the cab

maybe try the fix from amarulez
you keep the htc messaging but it makes pages so it is alot faster then original htc messaging
otherwise there is a other fix but i cant remeber from who it is
