Flashing Problem only Imge Version apears no Model ID

I have a M3000 Orange after unlocking it with Lokiwiz03 im trying to flash it but the problem is that I don’t get all the info in the rom update utility I only get this
Image Version : 1.3.1.104
I don’t get the Model ID or the Language.
After continuing with the update with the original Orange utility it goes to Boot mode and then gives me Error 294 :Invalid ID VENDER
And when flashing it with the no-id utility it gives me the same Image Version with out Model ID or Language after pressing the update button it directly gives me ERROR 238 :FILE ERROR
Any one can help me out

You have SIM unlocked your phone. This allows you to use any SIM card in it.
If you want to flash a non-Orange ROM you must CID unlock your phone. Lokiwiz03 cannot do this.
Lokiwiz02 can CID unlock if the ROM revision is low enough.

i Unlocked it with awizard Lokiwiz02 didnt do it then i flashed with the new RUU working 100 %
But for some resone i still don’t get the Model ID or the Language do you know why ?

SInce you never bothered to mention which rom you are using I assume you're flashing one of the many custom roms here. The RUU program has been modified so that it will always allow you to attempt to flash. For this to work it has to believe that you have an older rom installed on your phone.

Newbie tryng to upgrade rom, please help!!

Hi, I've a Qtek9100 with ipl & spl 2.17.0001 WWE, so I guess it's a g4, and I'd like to upgrade to the latest spanish rom. I've read a lot of threads, including the one supposed to fix my problem when tryng to unlock the CID (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=263116), but keep getting errors when I try to downgrade using custom__ruu_wizard_1050412_wwe_101_11210_wwe. rom
The pda goes into bootloader mode and the the upgrade utility gives an "error 300: invalid update tool, this update utility cannot be used for your pda phone. Please get newer update utility" error message.
Can anyone help, please?

give us some info....
like, what rom are you trying to flash?
Do you have a G3 or G4?
are you CID unlocked? (NOT THE SAME AS SIM UNLOCKED)
What rom are you flashing from?
What are your IPL/SPL, GSM, and OS versions?
What is the exact message and at what point do you get it?

i have a g4 phone,i do not know if it is cid locked or unlocked,i know that i used a few roms in the past from molski.biz. now i have a ipl/spl=2.17.0001 os=2.26.10.2. I try to update the rom,the mobile reboots,i get an rainbow screen,and then in windows it givs me the error message. i am trying to flash wm6 most beutifull,but i will settle with any wm6 rom.
The rom i have now in the wizard is
RUU_Molski.Biz_Faria_AKU3.2-3000_3000_024711_WWE-30MB-CF2-G4

Try flashing the T-Mobile 2.26 rom then upgrading to a custom rom of your choice.

Since this is a g4 phone, unless you have paid IMEI Check to unlock it, its CID Locked (no other way around that at this time)... I would suggest you download the Wizard Love ROM and flash that one. You can search on here for links to it or grab it via PirateBay.

Help!!! Having problems with rom updates? Cannot get past the second screen

Got som issues!!
Updated my Qtek 9100 with IPL/SPL 3.08 - Worked fine!
Updated my OS with Core 2.0 - Seemed to work fine
As far as I know my device is CID-unlocked!
Restarted my phone!
Now my phone can't load the OS, was stucked in second splashscreen that shows the specs
IPL 3.08
SPL 3.08
GSM 02.69.11
OS 10.2.0.8
Entered the bootloader!
Disabled antivirus
Then Following steps has been taken:
Flash with the original rom "RUU Prodigy 21771 2177103 026111 QTEK SVE SVE Ship"-package (eg tool 2.5.2.0 Swe)
Result: "ERROR[296]: Upgrade Only
Flash the original ROM and with the ROMUpdateUtility (2.0.1.0) English
Result: ERROR[300]: Invalid Update Tool
Flash the original ROM and with the ROMUpdateUtility (2.5.2.0) English
Result: ERROR[296]: Upgrade Only
Flash the Core 2.0 ROM with the ROMUpdateUtility (2.0.1.0) English
Result: ERROR[300]: Invalid Update Tool
Flash the Core 2.0 ROM with the ROMUpdateUtility (2.5.2.0) Swedish
Result: ERROR[238]: Cannot read file
Flash the Core 2.0n ROM with the ROMUpdateUtility (2.5.2.0) English
Result: ERROR[238]: File Read
Flash the WM6 Busines Edition ROM with the ROMUpdateUtility (2.0.1.0) En
Result: Flashing 100% Success
Still hangs in second screen after boot!
Flash the original ROM with the ROMUpdateUtility packaged with the WM6BE (eg 2.0.1.0 en)
Result: Flashing 100% Success
Still hangs in second screen after boot!
Still with the same specs as described in the beginning!
The flashing went OK but nothing has changed, why????
Even tried a Hard Reset and reflashing again with the opriginal rom, no changes!

Is there a IPL/SPL 2.xx to reflash my phone with?
Is this needed to be done before proceeding?
What else can I do, except get it to my dealer for repair?

that doesn't sound like a very certain assertion?

ERROR [238] : FILE READ
This error message may appear when, for some unknown reason, the ROM image on the phone is corrupt. Download the whole RUU and try again.

ERROR [296] : UPGRADE ONLY
One of these error messages will appear when you use the wrong RUU to do the upgrade. RUU will check if the Model ID and Language ID are compatible with the device. Make sure you use the appropriate RUU tool to upgrade.

ERROR [300] : INVALID UPDATE TOOL
This error message will appear when you use the incorrect RUU version to upgrade.
all of which strongly imply that your are not cid unlocked

Error: Invalid Vender ID, please help

This is my first time to update my Dopod 838 Rom to T-Mobile 2.26 (Follow the Site Tutorial) and got this error. do you know what is it and how to solve it. manay thanks. Previously, I updated another dopod 818pro and luckly it is smooth and successful but failed this time. please help

Sounds like you did not follow the tutorial completely and the phone is still CID locked ... You may provide more information .. is it a G4 or G3 etc ? ..

My guess it that he has a CID Locked G4...
